For those of you…read morewho have never been to one of these restaurants, you owe it to yourself to pay it a visit, especially if you love seasonal Walleye like I do. Culver's is the next level fast food experience you will love. Since I was pressed for time, I decided to do a pickup curbside order rather than going inside. Thankfully, using their app is a very straightforward process, and my order was delivered to my car on time. Likewise, the person who brought it to my car was very polite and made sure my order was correct. I played it safe and ordered a Deluxe Burger, with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and a slice of tomato. The flavor was amazing, and it reminded me of the hamburgers that my father would cook up on the grill as a child. Absolutely amazing.

The young man taking my order was very polite and efficient. I picked up my place number went and got my drink and sat down. I didn't have to wait too long. And my food arrived. First off, I need to tell you back in the early 1980s. I was a manager at a Long John Silver's. So I shouldn't have to say I knew all about deep fried fish. The filets of walleye we're quite large. Sadly they were mushy and greasy. I put one of the pieces and a couple napkins.By the time I got to it the napkins were drenched in grease. The French fries we're overdone and the coalslaw had way to much dressing, the bun was stale. It was a waste of $21.

Subject: Poor Customer Service Experience at Tim Hortons…read more Dear Tim Hortons Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the service I received at one of your locations yesterday. I visited Tim Hortons intending to purchase two donuts. I waited approximately 15-20 minutes before being acknowledged or served. During this time, I watched the employee complete three consecutive drive-thru orders without greeting me or taking my order. When I politely asked why in-store customers had to wait until drive-thru orders were finished, the employee responded in a rude and dismissive manner. She stated, "The people that drive in the drive-thru are more important than the people that actually come in." She further told me that if I didn't like it, I could go to another Tim Hortons down the street. I understand she may have been working alone, but that does not excuse the lack of courtesy or professionalism. The message I received was that my business was less valuable simply because I chose to come inside. I have always enjoyed Tim Hortons, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. I believe it's important for all customers--whether using the drive-thru or coming inside--to be treated with the same respect and priority. I hope you will address this issue with the staff at this location so that future customers are not treated in the same manner. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.

They have some chicken that's already fried under heat lamps, but you can also ask them to fry you new pieces. I got the three piece (two wings and a breast) plus biscuit for $7.99. The breast was already fried under a heat lamp and they were out of wings. They told me that it would be twenty minutes if I wanted to wait for the wings. That was fine and I waited. The wings and breast tasted the same even though the breast was under the heat lamp and the wings were freshly fried. It was extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and very well seasoned. Their biscuits are also delicious. It has a crispy honey coating on the top and the inside is very fluffy. Trust me when I tell you that they have the best fried chicken. I eat fried chicken all the time. I need to stop, lol. I tried another location before this and came here just to compare. They were both legit.

I work in the general area of where Saroki's is located and I was craving fried chicken…read more I tried Saroki's since it's close. I have not ever bought a meal from a gas station (there... I said it). I LOVE it!! For $13, I get my choice of 3 chicken parts, a side- the Cole slaw is really good... a little tart, a little sweet. The chicken - even after sitting a bit - is always great, never soggy and with a spicy kick. And a soda. The food & counter area are clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff at the food counter are really nice people and unless you want a pizza, the wait is minimal. You can buy one piece of chicken, or combos, plus they have wonderful looking pizza. And prolly much more. I selected "Ambiance" because the counter and business area are never dirty, the employees are polite, friendly and if it was a "stand alone" establishment, it would reflect the owners's vision. Gas prices are decent, also!!

My favorites are the Reuben, the Georgia Reuben, and Tarb's Tenacious Tenure. The latkes and knishes are also fantastic. There was a period where the bread was so sharp it felt like my mouth was getting cut up every time I ate there, which honestly became part of the experience. But the past few times I've gone, the bread has been perfect. Zingerman's Deli lives up to the hype.

So while it was chaotic and overwhelming, the workers would hand you a menu, explain the purchasing process and even give you requested samples! Due to trying a sample of their pretzel, I ended buying a bag. An $8 bag!!! It was perfectly crunchy and buttery and very good! I don't even like pretzels and these impressed me. Also got a $9 bag of only 5 palmier cookies. They were good but definitely a splurge. BF bought a small bottle of balsamic vinegar for $23, like wut?! I eyed a jar of salsa for $28 and jam for $16 but damn, everything was way above even farmer's market prices. The sandwiches start at $18 for a small and go to $24 for a large. BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.
