So decided to give Firehouse yet another chance...I enjoy their subs (usually) but sometimes the service has a lot to be desired. I ordered online, to note specifically I ordered double meat and extra pickles, but received neither (but paid the extra). It's apparent I don't need to purchase anything else at Firehouse since all one needs to do is walk in and look around and an immediate assumption can be made, which should steer ones decision as to whether or not to spend their money. I tried to give a second chance but have to say, with the amount of options that exist out there, my choices will be pointed elsewhere. Waited in line for 20+ minutes to be told when I got to the front of the line that it would be a 30 minute wait to get my food. So I left to spend my money and time somewhere else. Why not let people know when they get in line instead of wasting their time? Normally I would highly recommend firehouse but people don't have infinite amounts of time on their lunch breaks to stand in line and wait for food at a fast food place. I stopped in there on 10/16 to get a sub around 8 PM. out of the five or six staff making food only two had masks on! The guy that took my order was complaining to staff that he didn't feel very good and he was one of the guys that was not wearing a mask!! Totally unbelievable. We had a great experience with this Firehouse Subs location in EauClaire! We traveled over 3 hours to meet our family at a near by park for lunch. We ordered ahead before they opened, planning to arrive upon opening. When we got there, we were greeted by name as soon as we walked in the door, and found two people already preparing our order of 5 subs with all the extras. They quickly finished our order and bagged it up immediately, telling us which bags contained which items. Everything was made just the way we asked for it to be, and each sub had a number that corresponded with the same number on the receipt, making sorting things out so convenient. The bread was fresh, the vegetables and all the meats and cheeses were fresh and so very good. We will definitely stop at this Firehouse Subs location the next time we're in the area. I've had every sub here. My favorites are the steak and cheese, Italian, sweet n spicy meatball, and brisket. I'd recommend eating them instore if possible as the bread will get soggy after 20 or minutes. Staff is super friendly and provides excellent customer service. read more

Friendly place to grab a sub to eat. The whole place has the firehouse theme, and the workers are all dressed in the classic firemen overall type attire. You stand in line, kind of like at subway but without all the ingredients laying out in front of you, and order at the counter. There are pictures of the sandwiches on the menu on the wall. I got the smokehouse brisket, based on my craving for something BBQ, and something briskety. That clearly hit the mark. The sandwich itself was alright. The meat was moist and the BBQ sauce tasty, but I wasn't too impressed with the type of bread that was used. The staff is friendly, checking up on me occasionally to see if I enjoyed the sandwich. It is kind of weird for a non-restaurant place to do that, but I got with the program. There are quite a lot of different subs on the menu, some that I'd probably like to try in the future. My go-to place when I'm out by the mall. They also have one of those cool soda machines that can make like a million different drink combos.

We placed an order for pickup online, they forgot half of our order. When we called to ask them to make it right they told us that it was our own fault that we didn't get everything we ordered. Mistakes happen, but this kind of service is unacceptable. In addition to everything being overpriced, we were treated poorly. Needless to say we will not be going back. We are a business and Firehouse could have counted on regular orders from us for half a dozen people but they have lost our business permanently. read more
