We go every weekend for breakfast.. we have always had breakfast and there eggs Benedict is wow .. the best i have had.. but the last time we were not impressed.. my whole order was not correct.. and to top it off it was cold.. we could hear the service tell the cook that I didn't know what I wanted and changed my mind. The cook was mad and we heard him saying well that figures.. it took so long to get my food my husband was done and mine was brought to me cold. So I know what service to ask for next time.. I just don't understand why people don't take pride in there jobs.. read more

We ate at Chippewa Family Restaurant today and were BLOWN away! The food was FANTASTIC!!! Honestly the best breakfast we've ever had in the Chippewa Valley. The eggs had rich yolks and looked farm fresh. The restaurant is run very efficiently and was very clean. Excellent service, AMAZING food and very clean and tastefully decorated. We will be back! Needed a meal on our way down and wow was excellent. Wife had the eggs Benedict while I had a ham skillet. Everything was great. All cooked perfectly. Cannot wait to go there again on one of our trips up to Rice Lake, WI. And wow the orange juice was great. 100 percent freshly squeezed as they have the machine you can see them fill with oranges. read more

These guys put the "family" in Family Restaurant! The owners are there every single day, working their tails off, going above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. It shows in their service and most definitely in their delicious food. This is my favorite place in Chippewa Falls, by far! read more

Very traditional ingredients and lots of variety on the menu. I appreciate an entire page of smaller appetite selections. Which are not small at all! The coffee is delivered in a carafe, the plates are full of food. This is what comfort food and a family restaurant are all about. Today's breakfast special was an asparagus omelette. Lots of attentive staff to serve you and keep the restaurant clean. read more

A very typical diner setting with a very typical diner menu. Nothing out of the ordinary. People (especially the owner) are all very nice and attentive, but the food is average at best, and overdoses on the salt as seasoning. If you want large portions at a good price, and aren't too picky on flavor, then this is the place for you! Chippewa family restaurant has always been one of my favorite restaurants around town! Good service, amazing food, and dessert. You can enjoy an amazing breakfast even if it's in the evening. Or you can enjoy non-breakfast food, but it still tastes amazing. 100% I would recommend this place to any newcomers to Chippewa Falls or even people who have lived here and never tried it before. read more

We are full time RVers and stopped here for breakfast before a long day of travel. There is plenty of open parking and the place is immaculate first of all. We were seated immediately , and given a pot of coffee and ice water within a minute. I had eggs sausage and pancakes. All hot and good and the pancakes were nice and fluffy! The waitress checked on us twice as did the owner. I just can't think of a more comforting meal and place to start the day. Great prices too with both of us well fed for 21$. And on the way out saw pies that looked amazing! Just do it. You won't be disappointed. read more

An old brick wall, metal lighting fixtures, and a tin ceiling give it a vintage vibe. There are café tables with metal chairs for small groups. The noise level is reasonable, and it's easy to have a conversation. They have an extensive coffee menu, including tea lattes. But the one thing that really stood out was the bakery selection. They have items called Cornetto, which look like croissants. I was told they're similar and used in similar ways (fillings, glazes, etc.). We ended up getting a coffee, a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), a Custard Danish, and an Apple Almond Scone. It didn't take long to get our order, and everything was amazingly good. The London Fog was made with loose-leaf tea and steeped well. The pastries were fresh, large, and very yummy. Everything was also very reasonably priced (you spend way more than this in most places -- and that's not something I usually fixate on). Excellent experience. Friendly service, excellent food and drinks, great value, and a warm atmosphere. If I could make one suggestion, it would be the metal chairs -- I just didn't find them very comfortable.
