First timers here, we went on a Saturday crunch schedule and we only had to wait 5 minutes. It was packed but they did really good sitting everyone right away and food came out fast also. My boyfriend really enjoyed the coffee, I had orange strawberry juice.. yeah just try it with ice.. it's worth the try. Our server Amanda was amazing, fast and had good suggestions if you didn't know what to order. She made our experience very comfortable and overall A+ service! The food and vide goes hand and hands. Everyone is friendly and not obnoxious moments it was really awesome and the food... AMAZING! This is our new after church spot for sure thanks you to the host and staff. Everyone is awesome there!!!

Ambience and Experience: My family wanted a hearty brunch option that was just off the highway while going through Wisconsin in the Chippewa Falls area. I Googled for places and this place had an outstanding score, so I was expecting good things. And that is exactly what we found here. It was a local diner scene with a little upscale flamboyance thrown in to make it something much more special. Food: Fresh and quality are the two main highlights on the menu. I noticed a lot of things were made in-house and prepared daily. The produce that was on each dish was bright, vibrant and at peak freshness. The berries were bold, the lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were meaty and big. It kicked everything up a notch. And yes, the food was amazing because of it. Large portions to fill you right up and get you ready to get back on the road. Verdict: Awesome food without losing that small town feel made this an A+ stop. This will be a spot to visit again when we are back in the area.

Came late Sunday morning. There were six of us. There was a short line of people. Put our names in, got a beeper, and waited outside for about 15 minutes. While we were waiting, we were offered a couple of smaller tables, which would have split the group. We declined (but appreciated the offer). Got seated, with menus and waters. The server took our drink orders, and those items came right away. I was surprised by the fresh-squeezed orange juice -- nice touch. The server was very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. It didn't take that long for all of us to get our orders. Everything was hot, flavorful, and good-sized portions. The pancakes were big and fluffy. The eggs were moist. My avocado toast was nicely made and tasted fresh. And the two poached eggs were medium -- exactly how they were ordered. The manager (or owner?) stopped by during the meal to ask if all was okay. It was. Definitely a place I would recommend or come back to.

We came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't busy, but it wasn't dead. Every staff person we saw was smiling and friendly. The ambiance is relaxed and cheery. Both of us really enjoyed our meals and wished we had found this place earlier on our trip - we'd certainly come back!

My favorite place for breakfast! The staff is always so friendly and the food is delicious! My go-to is the meat lovers skillet with egg whites and a side of pancakes. Super yummy and their pancakes are delicious!! Cannot forget a side of their freshly made orange juice to top it off. Definitely recommend!!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Even though Eggbreak was packed when we arrived around 11 a.m. on a Saturday, we were still greeted immediately and seated at a booth. Our waitress had the drinks we ordered at our table in a jiffy, and our food came out quite quickly. The Classic Benedict with hashbrowns and the California Skillet were both filling and perfectly cooked, from the poached/over easy eggs, to the hollandaise, to the hashbrowns and the veggies. We were in brunch Heaven!!! The next time you're in the area and going out for breakfast or lunch, head to The Eggbreak Cafe!!!

So I found this place on Yelp! Thanks fellow Yelpers! We woke up hungry for breakfast and decided to venture out in 20 degree weather. It was worth the effort. Simple dinner off a busy road. Parking lot was packed. Got in and sat within 10 min tops. Service was fast and friendly and efficient. Good came out hot and exactly as ordered. Homemade jam for my toast. Just a really good meal and we were delighted. Will come back for sure. Husband started eating too fast so eggs Benedict's not pictured but he said it was good.

I took my dad here for breakfast. We arrived at 7 am on a Saturday. When we left at 7:45 it wasn't very busy with about 6 other tables being occupied. I know it get pretty busy after that time. The service was attentive and prompt. I had the spinach mushroom cheddar omelet with hash browns and toast. It was very good. My dad enjoyed his omelet and crispy hash browns. Good coffee. I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice. The machine is right in the dining room. Clean modern interior. The bathroom is also bright, clean, and modern. Pay at the counter. Apple Pay accepted. They take your order with an iPad, with is efficient and accurate. As a side note, the pies looks pretty tasty!

    This guy liked it here!

Quick stop on way to Minneapolis from Milwaukee. Food was well prepared and tasty. The waitress was extremely friendly. Best part was the quickness of the service. It allowed us to get right back on the road. Definitely recommend!

TLDR: creative cocktail and good menu with a Wisconsin twist…read more I brought my group of 8 family and friends here and everyone loved what they ordered! The menu features a lot of local Wisconsin produce and Wisconsin favorites with a twist, like Baked Cheese Curds (the tomato jam is SO GOOD) and Portobello Poppers with a wild rice and cheddar filling (it was so tasty I couldn't believe it was vegetarian!). Everyone really liked the Chicken Fried Rabbit (obviously, not our veg friend lol). The buttermilk-brined rabbit leg was so juicy and tender. The red cabbage slaw on the side was a perfect pairing. The Candied Pork Belly just melted in my mouth, no joke! And I love that it was seasoned with hoisin sauce and came with some baba ghanoush, which you'd think wouldn't go together--but it so does. For my main, I had the Grilled Ribeye and my bf had the Roasted Lamb. Both were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and both were phenomenal! The chimichurri on the side had some sweet kick to it but the steak didn't even need it bc it was plenty flavorful and tasty. The lamb was so tender and the mint gelee was *chef's kiss*. The Great Lakes Walleye was served on a nice tomato confit brodo and my bf's parents absolutely loved how imaginative it was. We all thought it'd just come out with a side of potatoes or something but the presentation blew us away AND they said it was very lovely. The kids loved their How 'Bout Them Apples pizza, which wouldn't have been my first choice (apples on pizza?!) but it did look tasty! For drinks, I ordered the Seamus (which is basically an old fashioned with Irish whiskey) and my partner ordered the Watermelon Mojito. I couldn't believe he liked the Seamus bc he usually hates old fashioneds but tbf it was a very well balanced cocktail! His Watermelon Mojito was refreshing and yummy (but a little too sweet for me). My bf and our friend both loved it tho! We'll definitely be back again the next time we pass thru Eau Claire!!

I think we had approximately 20 people and a couple joined last minute. I know this is not ideal for servers, but it worked out well and again, we so appreciate it! The Informalist was super convenient since many of us were staying at the Lismore Hotel. Since this restaurant is located in the lobby, it was just super easy and the menu has something for everyone. We ordered from both the pizza and regular dinner menu and many of us shared a bit of everything! The truffle fries may have been the biggest hit of all, so don't miss out on those! Pizza is fabulous too. We saw elote fries, a burger, caesar salad, steak and so many other things at our table. My favorite pizza was the Yellow Jacket, which includes red sauce, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, pepperoni, and spicy honey. My least favorite item was the salmon crudo, but the salmon entree was not bad. Ambiance is hip and trendy and feels a bit fancy, but we were all dressed casually. Interesting due to the name of the restaurant, but it works! If back in the area, I'd absolutely return. Enjoy!

The inside is bright, with lots of typical bar items, including video poker games, pool table, jukebox, etc. Came here on a Monday afternoon, after the lunch crowd. The was one other patron at the bar. We were the only table eating food. There were several staff at the bar, including the owner/cook, chatting it up and having a good time, and we got off to a great start. Our server got our party of 5 settled in with a clean wiped table and waters. The menu has typical bar, with includes unique burgers that we took a big interest in. We got several different sandwiches and burgers. All of them were "okay", but nobody was raving about their orders. Specifically, the fries were warm, but not hot, the smashburgers had good char, but not much flavor, and the presentation was not appetizing (the Cream Cheese on the Olive Burger looked curdled). We did share a couple pieces of the homemade cheesecakes (which were the non-baked whipped versions), and that was nice finish to the mediocre meal. The server was friendly, but didn't bother to check up on us. While she was socializing with the bar people, we had to fetch napkins, ask for waters, and then the check. I love to see Bar serve great food, but this one has a ways to go.
