    Got scammed

I recommend to save your money. Just spent 30$ and literally got 2 slices of beef on my sub. the sub could fly cause it was so under packed. not going there anymore biggest scam

I came to Firehouse subs I'm for a quick bite to eat before a road trip. The food was good but I found it to be a bit expensive for what it was. The subs are made with premium meats and cheeses, however portion size was small. The service was friendly and professional and there's plenty of seating. I loved all the Knick knacks on the wall and the general feel when you enter.

first time here, we got a brisket sub w.a side of chili. **overall food 1/5 - chili 0/5 this was beyond horrible. think, old stale meat, simmered/reused/overly cooked for god knows how long...it was practically mushed pureed baby food. taste and texture was not pleasant. please skip it. - brisket sub 1/5 the brisket itself was decent but not worth the hefty price tag. its smothered in what tasted like kraft bbq sauce (not the greatest, sry!) & the bread was meh. kind of squished & soggy. honestly, overall nothing special. its definitely more on the "gormet fast food" (price wise), but not worth it. paid just under $30 for one sub combo w.a side chili (that was not edible!) & a fountain pop. **service 4/5 cashier was super polite & friendly. took our order & offered to have our sub cut in half for sharing. only reason the rating is a 4 because one of the food prep/worker did not change their glove after repeatedly touching their face, nose, sink/faucet & pretty much evvvvvverything - then made our food. pretty unsanitary of you ask me. **atmosphere 3/5 its a cheesey qsr/diner-ish spot. paying $30/meal, for one...id almost ecpect to be in a restaurant w.table service, not a qsr type place. **verdict? i probably wouldnt go out of my way for it or come back for seconds.

It's been a while since I had one of these delicious subs. I almost forgot how good they were. Fresky made to order with a great pairing of sauces. I got the Hoom and Ladder (turkey/ham) combo. YUM

A nice improvement over the competition... Staff was really good, quality food, speedy service. Variety is nice. Turkey a very good sub.

These subs are ok, don't really know what everyone is raving about though. Just ordinary subs.

This place has completely changed my opinion on sub sandwiches. I used to love subway, but over the years the quality has been declining and it just wasn't as good as it used to. Firehouse recently opened a new store near work and I have been 3 times already. So far, of the three subs I've had, every single one of them was fantastic. Not good, but fantastic. I don't know how else to describe the sandwiches so I'll leave it at that. As soon as you come in to this location, you are greeted by a chorus of "welcome to firehouse". I had the pleasure of watching a lot of people come in and get surprised by their greeting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all, just surprised that a sub place will go through the effort of adding this routine. Food is served a little bit longer than usual, but it's definitely worth the wait. Takeout orders are placed in sturdy sub sandwich box which makes it convenient for taking orders home. If you eat in, you are given a plastic number before taking a seat. As soon as your sandwich is ready, they even deliver it directly to your table. Again another nice touch I was not expecting. Restaurant was clean, including the washroom, but this location is still new so let's see later on. Based on my experience so far, this franchise location is well on its way. Keep up the good work guys!

I've been to other locations of Firehouse Subs in the past (I think this location would be my second or third visit) and in past I gotta admit I was unsure. Good but..... I dunno. This new location just popped up north of Sherway Gardens Mall in a new development next to Walmart and I was in the plaza doing some holiday returns and decided to pop in for a quick bite. What I like about each Firehouse Subs is the custom mural they do to give a little hat-tip to the local area. The mural in this location shows the Firehouse Subs Firetruck with ladder extended pulling up to Sherway Gardens Mall and people gathering around rejoicing. Nice. The other thing I like about this brand is that the chain was started by Firefighters and at the point of purchase they ask if you'd like to round your purchase up to the next whole dollar to support firefighters and first responders. Why wouldn't you? It's a good cause for everyday heros and if you're like me and enjoy nice even numbers $16 looks way better than $15.43 (ugh) when I look at my bank statement. And honestly, for the 1-2 times I got to a place like this in a year, that 0.57 is better in their hands than my own. Kudos! Ok, so you made it this far, how is the food? I've had a few different options here in past BUT this time I wanted to try something really signature and according to the in store POS material and the staff that's their meatball sub. You can get it 3 ways, classic, spicy or pepperoni (lol - wut?!?!... my Italian culture just died a little inside). I opted for the classic meatball (so I could truly assess their quality) on white bread made standard with the pickle on the side. I was given a number, went over to the Coca-Cola freestyle machine and whipped up a zero calorie beverage concoction and waited for my hoagie at a table. The sandwich came within a few minutes and it was visually the best looking meatball sandwich I've seen. Multiple medium sized meatballs, covered in sauce with melted provolone cheese filling but not overflowing the bread bun boat. And in terms of taste (I'm salivating just as I relive the experience), a surprisingly fresh tasting meatball (I'm sure they're not but heck they covered it up well), a really delicious tasting tomato marinara sauce and what appeared to be REAL provolone cheese (not just that fake AMERICAN cheese you get at Subway (is it Mozzarela or not FFS). I've been doing this Yelp game for a long time now so not too much really wows me these days (especially not a large chains), but I gotta admit I had Firehouse subs written off as a Quiznos copy cat but wow, the meatballs sandwich is one of my new faves and I cannot wait to come back again for one! One of my favourite firehouse subs locations. They consistently make a delicious, hot, fresh sub! The New York steamer is so delicious and amazing. I usually get the half and half and pair it with a tomato soup. Gosh the bread at firehouse subs are just so fresh and crisp and best part it doesn't smell like yeast like at subway locations. Would love to see more locations and to get rid of subways. My only issue with firehouse subs is their use of pressured checkout charity. This practice needs to stop. No I do not want to round up my meal to donate to a USA firefighter charity.

this establishment and company has slowly creeped its way into my top 15 list of places to eat, ever since I was a kid, I have been infatuated and obsessed with sandwich places, starting out with subway, which to be brutally honest is one of my first memories. Been patiently waiting for this location specifically to open up, as driving to Oakville and maple Ontario, is worth it, is a lot of time and effort, so I legit couldn't wait for this to open! Like my other experiences with the stores mentioned previously this location sets the standard for the firehouse name, outstanding service, great flavor and OH mama that bread is fantastic (carb life!) come and check out this location for its sandwiches, you can take me later! Lots of parking at this location, might be a little bit more sparce once the plaza opens up completely. Transit options is the 123C bus. Make sure you try out the firehouse cherry limeaid, and put some lime wedges in it!!!

Finally! Jimmy Johns is in Ontario, and it's in my neighborhood, too sweet!…read more My first exposure to Jimmy Johns was when i got sent to Minneapolis St Paul (USA) and Jimmy Johns was across the street from my hotel. Came here on a super rainy day and was instantly annoyed with the layout of the restaurant in comparison to the parking lot, I feel like them retrofitting into this space, really didn't do them any favors, when I trekked through grass and mud to get to the door, I realized I parked on the wrong side of the building, even worse as you only have a walk way for one side? We finally got into the restaurant, and out of the rain and instantly the smell brought me back to both visits at MSP. a lot has changed in my diet where 80% of the menu I can't enjoy anymore. they also offer a toasted subs now, and I got one of the few items that wasn't available for this option, of course! Service was great, order was placed and we were in and out in ten minutes or so. The bread is absolutely killer, took me back to seven years ago, in MSP crazy good flavor and freshness for a throw back The parking lot is a huge negative for this spot, and warrants me not making this a five/five situation. being across from the mall, plus Home Depot/Wal-Mart and a bunch of smaller stores and restaurants in the mix, to get in and out of this section is nuts, and much like this super rainy night, not a lot of dedicated parking for Jimmy Johns Definitely an experience everyone should try, wish it was in the mall instead will be back!

Of course we know Firehouse subs is one of the elites but I always feel like doo doo after eating a Firehouse sub. None of that at a Jimmy Johns though! I felt great! Lol I ordered a 6 inch (Regular) Italian Night Club and added Jimmy peppers, which are essentially banana peppers but better. Such a great sub and all the flavours pop and work. The meat tastes like quality and they're not stingy (cough *subway* cough). I added some mustard on some of the bites and that made everything pop even more. Bread was nice and soft but not soggy. A great sub, all around. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. Sorry Firehouse, I'm a Jimmy John's girl now!

Everything here is made fresh and you can easily tell they're using high quality ingredients. The place is small but cozy with an open concept kitchen. It gets busy regardless of what time you come, so be prepared to wait. The food was absolutely incredible, making the wait perfectly worthwhile. I was excited to try their panuozzo since this is what I mostly ate when we went to Italy. Crudo's Mortadella Panuozzo rival those panuozzo we tried in Italy. We ordered the Mortadella panuozzo and A'Patata and Americana pizza to try. I really love and enjoyed the panuozzo! The combination of the crusty bread, savoury mortadella with the sweet, nutty creaminess of the pistachio paste and richness of the stracciatella translates beautifully into a perfect, gourmet and comforting sandwich. It will transport you straight to Rome. The potato pizza is one of the most surprisingly delicious pizzas you'll ever try. You can tell they're using top quality ingredients judging by how the pizza was fresh and flavourful. The crispy crust topped with creamy mozzarella (fior di latte) and chunks of soft roasted potatoes perfectly complements the salty and savoury ham (prosciutto cotto). And to cap off a great meal, we ordered the Cafe Cream using Kimbo coffee. This dessert is rich and velvety - the perfect sweet finish to a rich meal. I highly recommend this place to any food enthusiast.

It's a genuine smashed burger. My first bite of the meat that went outside the bun had me worried that it was overcooked, but it ultimately was just that piece as the rest of it was good and what you'd want from a smash burger. I got a double - which I'd recommend since the patties are on the somewhat smaller side, and really loved the burger. The fries were surprisingly average to my taste. Cut similar to McDonald's, but I didn't find they had much taste and were quite oversalted. Actually, they were very oversalted. I imagine that was a mistake on whoever was doing fries and otherwise they would be average but passible fries. But someone preferring thin cut may feel otherwise. My wife really enjoyed her strawberry milkshake. It doesn't look like it's from ice cream, but rather a cream base that they put in a frother for quite a bit of time. That also held up the order since there others had ordered shakes too, but ultimately it was a very good shake and can't hold that against them. It definitely came out nice and light.
