    Turkey Club with extra pickle

I was so happy when they opened this location, I first had this sandwich in Atlanta Georgia USA and had it almost every day while away. I love the steamed bun and fresh toppings. Everything is always fresh and made to order. I paid around $16 for a medium size sub. This was filling and just really good. The staff were fast and friendly and the store was super clean. I love there fountain drink machine they have so many different flavoured pop options.

Fantastic subs. Large Brisket & cheese was humongous, pricy but worth every bite. Plenty of free toppings of your choice. Tip- sign-up for their emails before you go, they'll email you a coupon for a free drink (2 weeks expiration) Bring plenty of wet naps, it's gonna get messy. Luckily they have a restroom in the back with a sink to wash your hands afterward

This newly opened sandwich shop brings some variety to the neighbourhood. There is plenty of parking out front and a large dining area (when C-19 restrictions are lifted) The staff are very friendly but still learning the ropes of crafting up the sandwich. They slice the deli meats daily and steam them to warm them (on the fence with this as all the juices are drained off). Will come back after a few weeks to allow the crew to gel and get some practice under their belt.

The Engineer Sub is so good, actually all of them are! Walking into Firehouse Subs, you're welcomed and greeted by all the team members. Proceeding thru to order you're bombarded by all their different sub offerings that makes you wish your stomach was bigger! Firehouse subs are larger then your average sub, and they load the subs up with layers and layers of meat and all the different veggies, and sauces depending on the sub that you order. I almost always get the Engineer Sub. Great lunchtime spot to fill your hunger, and to return to work satisfied, full and most likely a slow unproductive afternoon!!

Medium club on a sub and Italian sub

First time at a Firehouse Subs, and it didn't disappoint. We tried their club on a sub and Italian subs. The subs were delicious but slightly too heavy on the mayo. You can choose from white or whole wheat bread. They also come with optional dill pickle spear on the side. I also tried their brownie, but it wasn't the best, it was too sweet, and there wasn't enough chocolate flavour. The restaurant was bright and pretty clean. They also have disposable gloves for you to use, which is great. The service was also excellent. The gentlemen who took our order was very knowledgeable of their menu and kind.

I tried 2 places for beef patties today. Here and "Island…read moreFoods Express" at Woodbine and Hwy 7. Look at my other review for them. To compare the two, I ordered a spicy beef patty and tested them for flakiness, crispness, and filling. First off price wise. It was cheaper here at $2.70 including tax. I found that this beef patty here at Allwyn's was flaky enough but lacked the crispness of the outside dough. As well the filling was too moist or soggy and it was translucent which was off putting. Also, the patty was lukewarm and not piping hot. I came here to try one and then maybe go back in and pick up a dozen. But From the one patty I had. It didn't warrant a purchase of a dozen to take home for future enjoyment. I must say the patty was not bad. However I found it was not the best one I have had in Toronto. I will pick Islands Express Foods for a beef patty in future visits. Recommendations, I suggest you try for yourself as this is a personal preference but I'll stick to some other locations for my beef patty fix.

They are cash only and although they have a few tables, it seems to be a takeout spot. The Stuffed Sandwich is a Jamaican masterpiece. From the pillowy coco bread to the flaky beef patty to the spicy and smoky jerk chicken. There is definitely a lot going on here which makes it hard to really taste or appreciate all the ingredients and flavors here. The jerk chicken had a kick to it which was nicely balanced out by the coleslaw. Despite that, I would've much rather had this with either the patty or the coco bread (not both). Awesome try, overall!

It's located inside a food court that has a bunch of other restaurants. The service was really nice and i like that it came with plastic gloves cause you know how messy eating fried chicken can be. The fries were amazing and the gravy was delicious also. We will be coming back!

Somehow we didn't get the hype memo, as our order was far from a grand one. I'm glad the business is doing well so I'm sharing an honest opinion of the fried chicken and shrimp sandwich. The staff was surprised to have business on a weekend afternoon, and just sat under the cash register. Within our order, the fried shrimp sandwich came loaded in a crunchy patty with beans & veggies inside toasted buns. I was anticipating a good bite; the only problem was that it was rock hard without much flavour. Since I don't like wasting food, I didn't toss it out. The spicy chicken was crispy and seasoned well similar to Taiwanese fried chicken. Its only drawback was that the spice seasoning was quite salty. Not as ultra crispy as Taiwanese night market chicken but it'll do. One benefit of this location is that dessert is only a stone's throw away. The nearby Wooffles & Cream stall is always busy. The rest of this quiet food court seemed to have fallen on harder times during the pandemic though a return to office may help boost lunch business. However, we'll be getting our fried chicken fix from elsewhere at a similar price point.

This place is one of the best in the franchise. I ordered my fav sandwich the veal, chose medium spice level and added cheese and mushrooms. Omg, the cheese pull was awesome !!! The sandwich itself is full of flavour with the sauce which must be homemade. The veal is so tender. When biting into this gigantic sandwich, the veal just melts in the 6-7 layers of veal and it is a full bite. Not like sometimes you bite into it and the veal is tough and one piece doesn't break and one slice of veal comes out messing the whole sandwich. IYKYK. LOL. But Not here, like I said the veal sandwich must have been 6-7-8 layers thick and it just melted after each and every bite. Fantastic is all I can say. Also, if you are not into veal, their steak sandwich with onions included and their chicken cutlet is just as good. Side note: avoid the meatball sandwich though. I didn't enjoy it and only bought it because it was cheaper. So don't be cheap and order the other sandwiches. Otherwise, this place rocks An easy recommendation with a glowing 5 stars I'll be back, maybe see you there !!!

The gentleman was incredibly nice in explaining what the top favs were and was even nice to allow me to add an ingredient, as one of my spuds had something removed (no coleslaw for me). My order consisted of Mexican Fiesta and Nashville Chick. My husband took his Mexican fiesta potato as is, but I ended up switching my pulled chicken for fried chicken. The potatoes were amazing! The base potato was so flavourful and not bland at all, evenly seasoned on its own without the toppings. The toppers were delicious and went well with the spud. It hasn't even been a week, and I'm already jonesing for my next potato bar experience.
