It's quite a busy plaza so parking can be a bit tricky at the front, consider parking on the side and walking a bit if you're able. Inside was quite clean and calm. All the tables and chairs seemed clean and staff were busy making food. Lots of takeout orders. Decent number of tables and chairs but not a ton. Food: Beef brisket with cheese sub. The meat was flavorful and tender. Mayo and bbq sauces were quite tasty. Toppings like lettuce, cucumber cubes, caramelized onions all tasted fresh. Surprisingly very messy - possibly because of all the melted cheese and sauce. Meatball sub - delicious, tender and flavorful meatballs in a marinara sauce on the sub. As before vegetables were fresh and the bread is soft yet holds up against all the filling. French fries - surprisingly really good. It's a vertical crinkle cut so the ridges are vertical to give it more crispiness. The sauce is great with the French fries! Price: Definitely on the more expensive side of things when it comes to subs but quality and taste are really high. I just had a very horrible experience here And I am debating on boycotting all Firehouse Sub locations because of this. Even though the location at the Promenade Mall exceeds this horrible location by 100 times. I came here to this location in York Mills Rd expecting a decent sub and some decent service. That's not expecting much But On this occasion, I entered and the one Indian lady about 20 something years old immediately put me off. She took my order rather curtly and asked my name forcefully. I mean I am the only customer in there. I waited my 4-5 minutes paying no mind. Then She proceeded to just plop my sandwich on the counter and literally screamed my name and then walked to the back. I'm sorry but this order is for take out I said can I have a bag. She saids she doesn't have big bags with handles. This is not my first rodeo here and she plops a small sandwich bag on the counter with absolutely no customer service like bagging it for me and then walks off again. That's when I see a uber order with a said bag with handle sitting there I mean, I like their sandwiches but service and a remotely polite service is important too. I definitely strongly recommend to stay away from this location. I went to this location two times the second time I ordered the same thing. BLT But when I got it the bacon wasn't hot and cold. I asked two separate worker the guy who took my order and the lady who made it both of them was very sure that it was toasted bacon on my sandwich after both looking at it. The guy who took my order even went on to say that the bacon didn't taste toasted because the buns were not toasted. That doesn't even make sense. The first time I went an older guy took my order and gave me a sandwich with crispy bacon so I don't really understand why it was different. I was so happy when they opened this location, I first had this sandwich in Atlanta Georgia USA and had it almost every day while away. I love the steamed bun and fresh toppings. Everything is always fresh and made to order. I paid around $16 for a medium size sub. This was filling and just really good. The staff were fast and friendly and the store was super clean. I've had Firehouse Subs before when it was catered for work events, and they always tasted great - especially with that delicious, grainy mustard served on the side. So we saw this location on our way home and figured we'd stop by for a try. We ordered the Firehouse Hero and the Brisket and Cheddar sandwich. I was really happy with both sandwiches. There was a lot stuffed in there and the sauces are fantastic. I really liked the smoked, honey ham and the salty pastrami. The Firehouse Hero was a bit of a basic sandwich, but it tasted great and that's a pretty decent measure of the rest of their menu. Their brisket was amazing with their sweet and smokey bbq sauce. The full size sandwich was perfect for my bf whereas I only finished about half. I saved the rest for the next day and even as cold left overs, it tasted great. The bread didn't get too soggy either. Sadly, they didn't give us extra of the grainy firehouse mustard. He gave us 2 packs of a different brand I didn't recognize. It tasted fine but I miss the grainy mustard they use to serve on the side. Service was pretty quick. They've got a few small tables set up here but it looks like people mostly grab and go. I liked the firehouse decor and they have some great fundraisers going on to support fire fighters too. I really liked seeing all that. Oh bonus for hot sauce lovers: They did have a HUGE selection of hot sauces you can pick up. And there's a hot sauce station where you can pour some hot sauces to go and give them a try. They've got them labelled so you know which ones are more mild and which ones are hotter. I really liked their Captain Sorensen's hot sauce (which looks like a bbq sauce). It was labeled as mildest and did have a very light spice to it. It was mostly sweet. I loved the Fat Cat bourbon hot sauce which is another sweet one using peaches and bourbon. Yes, you can bring your own food into Rogers Centre. Bringing your own food in can convey the following advantages: - shorter/faster line-up and wait for food - a wider selection to choose from - better pricing (vs $10+ for a Hot Dog) All of the subs at Firehouse are pretty good and the heavy paper fibre containers used are well suited to protecting your food when carrying it in a backpack. This newly opened sandwich shop brings some variety to the neighbourhood. There is plenty of parking out front and a large dining area (when C-19 restrictions are lifted) The staff are very friendly but still learning the ropes of crafting up the sandwich. They slice the deli meats daily and steam them to warm them (on the fence with this as all the juices are drained off). The Engineer Sub is so good, actually all of them are! Walking into Firehouse Subs, you're welcomed and greeted by all the team members. Proceeding thru to order you're bombarded by all their different sub offerings that makes you wish your stomach was bigger! Firehouse subs are larger then your average sub, and they load the subs up with layers and layers of meat and all the different veggies, and sauces depending on the sub that you order. I almost always get the Engineer Sub. Great lunchtime spot to fill your hunger, and to return to work satisfied, full and most likely a slow unproductive afternoon!! read more

You can take the subs 'as-is', or add on a variety of toppings. Plenty of parking in the strip plaza. First time at a Firehouse Subs, and it didn't disappoint. We tried their club on a sub and Italian subs. The subs were delicious but slightly too heavy on the mayo. You can choose from white or whole wheat bread. They also come with optional dill pickle spear on the side. I also tried their brownie, but it wasn't the best, it was too sweet, and there wasn't enough chocolate flavour. The restaurant was bright and pretty clean. these are my favourite subs now. I've always loved Subway sandwiches, but I have to try and firehouse subs, I love it. I always try to hook and ladder, but I've also tried the steak sandwiches and they are awesome. Highly recommended I've gone there three times now and subs are delicious each and every time.
