We ordered the new hot Italian, #4 cold sub, #9 club supreme, hot #56 big Kahuna Cheese Steak, #64 hot Grilled Portabella Mushroom & Swiss. All were excellent. Fresh quality ingredients. The service was quick and friendly. Sorry forgot to take photos when we got them. Half left photos of what once was a giant size. The ambiance is nice clean and very American style.

So... I came here again And I ventured from my usual order of an Italian or a Philly cheese steak On this trip I got the B. L. T Bacon, Lettuce and tomato I didn't get it Mikes way as I figured a B. L. T. deserves loads of mayo Needless to say Jersey Mikes outdid itself again There was loads of crispy bacon along with my added mayo And Again the service from the employees was top notch I was greeted by first name with tremendous hospitality Thanks guys See you next time!!

This was my first time going to Jersey Mike's and I heard great things about it. I went during a Saturday lunch hour and it was pretty busy. Big line so had to wait a bit. It was quite loud in there and I couldn't really hear the girl taking my order. I ended up ordered a giant Mike's famous Philly. It was huge! It honestly tasted pretty good considering I was really hungry. Really fresh and the bread was delicious and soft. If you don't ask for a change in bread, they will only give you the plain. You need to ask for the cheese bread. 4/5 stars. I'm not a huge sandwich person.

I will be honest and say, that until seeing so many posts on IG about Jersey Mike's, I was not familiar at all with this US brand. I just saw one photo, shared it to hubby and we were there for it! I love the idea of having new sub options, especially at these amazing US Abrams's that bring fresh ingredients, freshly sliced deli meats and the perfect bread! Staff were incredibly patient and kind during our ordering process, answering all the questions while hubby & I ordered for ourselves and our kids. We ordered 4 freshly sliced cold subs: The Super Sub, American Classic, Turkey Breast and Provolone & The Original Italian. Piled high, the bread is like no other at any sub shop chain I have tried. The amount of meat and fresh veggies was so impressive. I absolutely LOVE a provolone cheese on sandwiches, so this was the perfect combo for everyone. We all had it Mike's Way and yes, it was a truly memorable experience! Last but not least, we could not resist and HAD to order from the Fresh Griller Hot Subs and ordered the Jersey Mike's Famous Philly! OMG!! Tender steak, peppers, onions, and white American cheese. This brought me back to Philly! One of the best Philly Steak Cheese sandwiches I have tried on this side of the border. Make it a combo, add on a cookie or brownie and it is the ultimate sub experience. FYI, they also do catering! looking forward to our next visit! I will def take more photos - sorry Yelp fam, we all couldn't wait to dig in!

When this place opened I saw the MASSIVE line inside the store as I was picking up Chipotle next door. Remembering this, I decided to order online. I got myself a portabella cheese steak (#66, giant size) on rosemary parmesan bread. The one thing that I've was surprised about was the inability to customize my sub w/ sauces or other toppings. I confirmed with others whether this is unique to the hot/grilled subs or if you can only get personalized condiments inside the store and learned that the hot subs only come w/ DEFAULT toppings. This inflexibility is probably my one turn-off. The sub itself used really fresh ingredients (the peppers were a nice touch) but I did feel like it was a lil on the drier side because it only had cheese, meat, peppers and onions inside. Ideally, I would've added a couple sauces to my sub but did not get the option to. Really bummed about that. I'm not sure if this is just a Jersey Mike's thing in Canada or if it's like this in USA too. The other thing that was kinda annoying was my text alert told me my order was ready but when I walked into the store I still had to wait 15 min for my order to be complete. The in-store lineup is still huge at this point in time so definitely order online if you don't live too far away.

    That's another big bag.

The size of the regular sub halved in size. Not sure if I hit an opening promotion last time or not, but to be fair, today's sub was much more in line with the average Toronto sub size:prlce ratio. Still way better than Subway, although that's admittedly a low bar to hurdle.

Since this spot has now opened in Markham, I just had to give it a try! I remembered loving it when I first tried it in Atlanta, USA, so I stopped by. To confirm. Even in the early evening, the place was packed, and it took about 15 minutes before I could place my order. I went with the #7 "Mike's Way," asking for mayo and pickles on the side, along with a chocolate chip cookie for a sweet finish. The sandwich was tasty but a bit too wet--the bread got soggy pretty quickly, so I'd rate it a 3/5. The chocolate chip cookie also gets a 3/5, as it mostly tasted of chocolate chunks rather than having that balanced, classic cookie flavor. Staff were welcoming and really pay attention to the art of creating a sub! Clean new establishment . Mini regular and jumbo size available. Pricey. But reasonable. They slice the deli meats and cheese upon ordering. That said, I'm definitely willing to give it another shot!

I love Jersey Mike's Subs. It's an American chain. I tend to get my fix whenever I visit the Twin Cities. This franchise has made it over the border for a while. Ontario has been graced with two locations. I'd often go to the Kitchener location whenever I'm in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. The other location is in London. Ontario now has three locations. This one opened up in Markham. It is bittersweet in that this location is where Big Smoke Burger used to be. I liked getting my burger fix here. I had a coupon to use during the long Labour Day weekend. If I bought a regular sub, I'd get a second sub for free. The catch was that you couldn't use this coupon through the app and then pick up your order. Instead, I had to line up to use it. I got here on a Saturday at roughly 6:30 pm. It took me an hour to get my food and leave. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I lined up outside the store. When I reached the counter, I got an energetic, friendly man who took my order for these regular subs: - Roast beef and provolone - Club supreme The latter is my usual order. It was my first time ordering the former. I watched a man slice various deli meats in front of me. I also admired a tray of crispy bacon. What dampened my experience here was another man working the sub assembly line: Him: Just a number 9? Me: (Looking down at two subs in front of both of us) A 9 and a 6. Him: Mike's way? Me: Mike's way minus the onions Him: You don't like onions? I didn't bother answering him. He was a loudmouth jerk. First, he couldn't count. His attention to detail was poor. Second, I don't need to explain why I don't want onions. To judge me on how I like my sub was uncalled for. How about focusing on doing your job? It's how I like my sub to be. Just do it without questioning my choice. Did you really want me to explain that I don't like thick raw onions that burn as I eat them? Did you want me me to share with you that I love French onion soup because I love tons of caramelized onions in it? It's best to keep your criticisms to yourself. Maybe take a remedial grade 1 math class, buddy. It's clear that you need help with basic counting. Oh, you don't like math? It shows. I'm done ranting. Let me continue with my review. I got both subs on rosemary parm bread. It's my favourite. Both sub paper bags had code on them: R6 and R9. Staff put my R6 (roast beef and provolone) sub in the R9 (club supreme) bag, and vice-versa. It wasn't horrible, as both subs were for me. However, if this mix-up went to two folks where one has a food allergy, it would have been a health disaster. I had a helpful man at the checkout. I showed him my coupon and got that scanned. If you have signed up for Jersey Mike's rewards, you enter your phone number on the touchscreen to collect points. I paid with a credit card. I tapped my card and all was great. I left with my food and headed home. The subs were delicious. My usual sub, the club supreme, was yummy and exactly how I like it. The roast beef and provolone sub was excellent, too. The proteins were tender. I loved the veggies and cheese. Mike's way minus the onions was exactly how I liked the sub dressing. The rosemary parm bread sealed the deal. Sadly, Jersey Mike's Subs has separate apps for the States and Canada. I hope that there is only one app that works for both countries down the road, like Crumbl does. Going forward, I'll be ordering my food through the Jersey Mike's app. You pay for order and head to this store to pick it up on a rack. I hope that the loudmouth man gets training dealing with customers. I hope that I never have to interactive with him again. (363)

Got a regular jersey shore's favourite Mike's way and it was pretty good. The ingredients were fresh and it was very filling. I didn't get any sauces on mine but I think it would make the sandwich better. Also bought their chocolate chip cookies and they were massive. They were pretty classic chocolate chip cookies and were soft and chewy. They have an $8 for 3 deal. The service was quick and everyone was friendly too.

I've ordered both the Italian and the Philly from Jersey Mike's, as well as the chocolate chip cookie twice. Everyone who works at this location really seems like they love their job; they're very friendly and personable while also demonstrating efficiency in getting people their food. The kitchen seems to keep moving while the line of people waiting continues to grow. There's plenty of seating available, though many people take their food to go. The sandwiches are quite large if you opt for the full size, but the hot sandwich keeps quite well if you don't mind eating it cold later. The cold sandwich's bread does get a little soft at the edges (very slightly) from the "juice," which is red wine vinegar and olive oil, but all in all keeps pretty well too. I have returned and I likely will return to dine again in the future.

4 STARS Jersey Mike's has finally opened in Markham! They have a promo going on right now, when you buy a regular size sub, get your second sub free! (Only valid from August 28-Sept 1, 2024) The line up was pretty long since today was its grand opening. I got the club sub, and mr. Tran got the club supreme, on rosemary parm bread. Felt like the rosemary parm bread overpowered the flavours of the meats and fresh ingredients. Will need to try it on plain white bread next time. Love that they have "the juice" (red wine vinegar), it does help elevate the sandwich to another level. Overall, not too bad for a sub chain in Markham!

Before coming here my sub experience was limited to mostly fast food subs which were often mediocre. It was only after going to Jersey Mike's that I've been convinced that not all subs are equal! Everything at Jersey Mike's is super fresh, from their veggies, cheese, and meats. The latter two which they cut right in front of you! The portions are super large sized so even a regular sized sub (6 inches) can be enough to fill someone up. Everything is just super high quality and very well done, super tasty as well. The only downside is the long lines! A 6 inch sub is usually $12-13. I've tried the original Italian, the club sub, and the club supreme and have loved all of them! Would recommend any of them. Big fan of their subs!!!

    Isabelle C.

I tried the club supreme giant size and it was huge. The taste is okay but I do like how they make it fresh infront of you as you can see everything they put in the sandwich. They were also pretty quick with making my sandwich and there was also no wait when I went. They have a few seats inside as well for those who want to eat in.

A little pricey but "OMG" was this sandwich special. The employee (I gather who was also the owner) gave me suggestions and upon choosing the veal, I saw him bread it and cook it upon ordering. A couple of Saturdays ago, I had the weirdest veal cutlet sandwich that I have ever consumed. This experience made me crave real veal in a yummy sandwich with marinara sauce. My usual go-to veal sandwich place is California Sandwiches. I have the option of hitting Ajax, Vaughan, or Toronto to get my fix. I need at least half an hour to get to any of these locations. I found East Street Sandwiches on Ritual. My eyes zoned into the veal sandwich immediately. I added mushrooms to it, which is my usual way that I like it. I saw arancini on the menu. The last time I had some was last year and it was horrible. The rice was so hard that I peeled it off as if it were the shell of a hard-boiled egg. The filling wasn't anything to write home about. I ordered the meat and peas arancino here, hoping that it wouldn't suck. I had plans to hit Richmond Hill last Wednesday anyway. It was perfect to grab some takeout for dinner before heading home. The eatery is tucked away in a small plaza with Fat Bastard and a few other places. There were guys cleaning the parking lot, so half the spaces were taken. I waited for two cars to leave this parking lot so I could park. One got out quickly. The person in other one looked so confused and was so inexperienced as a driver that I had to wait until this person got her act together. I then backed into a spot and headed inside. The most comforting detail that I saw on the window was that this place has been kicking around since 1978. If a place has been in business for that long, the food must be great. I headed inside. I was greeted by Bruce Springsteen on the wall. It was cool. An older gentleman was behind the counter. He was so nice. I indicated that I had a Ritual order. He handed me a paper bag with my items with both hands. I thanked him. I could tell by the look in his eyes that he was pleased to see a human being. I looked so forward to eating my food, wished him a great evening, and headed back to my car. I had one other errand to run. After I was done, I headed home to chow down. I had my veal sandwich first. Delicious! The veal as lightly breaded and had marinara sauce. I tend to like lots of sauce. This place doesn't smother the veal with tons of it. At first, I was concerned. However, the marinara sauce was so bright and flavourful that having less of it actually works perfectly. It was the first time eating a veal sandwich neatly. The bun was perfect. I normally look like a kid eating it without a bib. Not here. Yum! The meat and peas arancino was fantastic. The rice was lightly sticky and so good. I normally don't go crazy over rice, but I loved it so much. It's a decent size. The filling was yummy. The only negative that I can think of was that I did not see any peas. Maybe they were pureed? I couldn't tell. It wasn't horrible, as the flavourful meat filling made up for not seeing any peas. I am no longer afraid to get bad arancini now that I have found this place. Such a gem in Richmond Hill! It's much closer to get my veal sandwich fix here. Huge fan! I'll be back for more sandwiches and arancini. (353)

It looked nothing like the cheeseburger from Burger Factory that's posted online. The patty was not even thick at all! I received a thin patty which contained cheese but I had to get to the center of the burger to get a bit of cheese oozing out. The rest of the patty was essentially a Mc D caliber patty. If you look at the pic I posted, the meat to bun ratio was also totally off. The bun was bigger than the meat so I had bites where I was literally just eating thick bread and veggies. The cheeseburger photos show big chunky meat patties so I'm wondering if I got an employee who didn't really know what he was doing? I opted for a combo and got mac n' cheese bites as my side. These were exceptionally disappointing. I'm no mac expert but I'd be willing to bet a dollar that they use Kraft dinner in these mac n' cheese bites. Overly salty, overly processed. No dipping sauce, just came with two ketchup packets on the side. For a meal that hit me for over $20 I truly felt ripped off. This combo was NOT worth $20+. I had a double Shack burger from Shake Shack literally a week prior to eating here and that burger was MILES better and way more "gourmet" tasting than this one.

Seemed a little too adventurous for me so I went with their promo at the time which was 2 cheeseburgers and fries for (i think $15). Burgers were 5oz each so you can imagine how full I was. Very nicely cooked, they use a really good quality sesame bun which I think makes a big difference when you bite into the burger. Good toppings and the fries were nice and lite. Not too oily and salty as other places are. A great deal that is probably not around anymore haha. Shoutout to Matthew there for hooking us up with some free ice cream too as they were just about to close.

Everyone raved about the large portions and the exceptional quality of our food. Although it was around $70 for the 3 of us i think it was worth it. I haven't enjoyed a meal like this in a very long time. Dining mid afternoon is unquestionably a good idea , missing both the morning rush and the dinner rush as well.

She shared with me what was fresh and made sure that it was on my plate. You cannot go there without having a black cherry with the combo or anything smoked meat. It's a must. I had tried other deli's proclaiming Montreal style smoked meat, but they all were so salty that not only did your blood pressure go through the roof, but you ended up with a giant headache. I will not disclose names. Here, the balance of flavours is ideal and just salty enough. Your timing will be everything with regards to finding parking and the noise level. Going between rush hour periods will guarantee a better experience. Enjoy!
