It has been awhile since I visited a Firehouse Subs location. I had no issues with this location. I was greeted quickly, ordering was easy and I had my food in about five minutes. My memory may be going, but I remember the sandwiches being a little larger than what I was served. The quantity of meat was much less than I remember. The flavor was good, but I left hungry. This has got to be one of the worst firehouse subs in the entire universe. First of all the pickles are absolutely disgusting. The spear ones. they literally taste like they came out of someone's dirty ear. And not to mention that they have a bucket of pickles in the back that sit on the floor and they just grab a handful of pickles out out of the bucket and put it inside of another bucket and serve it to their customer. Love their subs, but if you try to place a delivery order, you were going to be charged through the nose and if you are only 1.5 miles away, you're going to get extra charges for "long distance." If you try to use a delivery service, you will find that every single item on the menu has a significant price increase. If it was $9 it's gonna be $12. On top of the 30% increase in the items price, you will also be paying at least some delivery fees. Of course they want you to donate to volunteer fire departments, but it seems your gouging us enough as it is. Do not bother with Customer Service as you only get a bot and no one will resolve your issue or even answer your questions. I'm very sad about this. Had a lot of respect until I realize that their customer service is zero. read more

Several days ago, I drove through rain to buy myself a combo & second sub for a friend. Certain aspects about this location have been different since its previous owners retired. Things went well. I asked the cashier to have the second sub prepared five minutes after mine was begun, so I could eat before dropping the friend's off. I ravenously enjoyed my steak and cheese sub. However, the staff ran into problems: a guy who came in afterward griped about how his order had somehow been messed up. The employees remained helpful and cool. One of the sub preparers called out for a "Gordon" to get his or her order. I made nothing of this. Minutes later, I got my ass up and asked about the 2nd sub with chicken, which is called the Engineer. This employee asked someone else for help. As it turned out, there had been a name mix-up, but guess what? That Engineer was remade and handed to me for free, with no issues. My friend loved it, as usual. read more

My first visit here. They are a little pricey for a sub. Me and my son had 2 6 inch meals and it was $22. I had the chicken bacon ranch sub and my son had the Italian sub. I can say both were delicious and the brownies were so moist. They have a selection of sauces you can choose from to kick your sub up a notch. Service was quick and great! read more

Great sandwich shop. Firehouse provide funding, life-saving equipment and educational opportunities to first-responders and public safety. I was greeted by a nice young lady. She quickly got my order and passed it to the cashier so he could cash me out. I really appreciated her urgency ! The resturant was very slow, there were a couple in the dining area. I placed my order online. It was fast and easy. You have to pay online,they don't give you an option to pay at the store. You can have them to make you order right away or schedule a time for your order. I ordered my favorite the hook and ladder,my mom ordered philly cheese steak, my son had the smokehouse brisket. We are a local nonprofit that often patronizes this location--particularly for meetings and events. Yesterday an order was placed online for the few of us working on a project.We used our rewards points for a freebie. The freebie wasn't included ,so we called and were advised to come back today. One of our faithful senior citizen volunteers, offered to pick it up and while there placed another order. The disrespect with which he was treated just to get the "freebie" they forgot to begin with is disheartening, and totally unnecessary. Noone should be treated in such a manner. I ordered through the app for a pick up. I actually arrived about 10 minutes past the pickup time. When I got there they acted like they didn't receive the order. A man asked them to look it up and they apparently saw the order. No one spoke to me at all as the man (I assume the manager) looked around in the back. This is one of our go-to spots for lunch. We eat here about once a week because it's close, fast, good food and quick and friendly service. I always order ahead and my food is ready when promised. If I could give this place zero stars I would. First we stood at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged that we were there, even though they were standing 1 foot away. We waited for 32 minutes and were standing at pickup before we finally asked when food would be done. They apparently lost our ticket. No one ever said sorry. We asked for a refund and our order to go. They never said anything in return and we stood there for another 5 minutes. I finally went to the front and asked for our money back and when our order would be done. They said they don't do both and we could just get our money back. I don't know why they didn't say this initially, I'm not sure what they thought we were standing there for those last 5 minutes watching them make other orders. The place was empty. The manager is a child who has no clue what he's doing and should be fired. All of the employees were idiots. read more

Guess they using fraud to compensate for people using their points for free items. Spoke with corporate customer service. Told nothing can be done because the store is a franchise. The store refuses to do anything even though I have a receipt. Who gets 2 subs but 4 upgrades? Come on, it is obvious a mistake was made. The service was poor. I was the only customer at the order station. I waited and waited while two working behind the counter didn't acknowledge me or bother to say, "someone will be with you in a moment". Finally one of them walked to a back entryway and pointed back over his shoulder toward me. He walk back past me and again never spoke or looked at me. A minute later two girls came out of the back and one of them took my order. Two sandwich meals $28 plus I added a tip. I filled my drink cups at a drink station that clearly needed to be cleaned. The two working behind the counter were very slow, maybe they didn't feel good. Finally when my order was ready, the young man spoke to me and said, "This is yours.". I took the bag and said, "Thank you and have a nice day." To which he had no response, no eye contact, no smile..., but simply turned and walk away. They did not want my business and they made that very clear. The food was good but I will never go back to the Firehouse Sub in Fayetteville Ga again. The Firehouse in Griffin GA is much better. I was very disappointed with my visit here. I had ordered 2 Hook and Ladder combo meals. When I received my order one of the meals had very small amount of meat as compared to my other order so I asked for my order to be done again. I was told by the manager I had the right amount of meat and it was made correctly so she couldn't allow another sandwich to be made and that the owner would not allow her to do that. Firehouse Subs (Fayetteville, GA) has poor customer service. I picked up my order sub that was called in, payed for it, drove home and was very disappointed to find that it was not done right. The order was placed for a smoked turkey sandwich with just provolone, mayo and honey mustard. This sandwich had no honey mustard and lots of unwanted tomatoes. I took the time to fill out an online FirehouseListens.com survey after seeing the, "we value your feedback!" tag line on my receipt. I was again disappointed that another day went by and no one reached out to follow up after I shared my experience. So the very next day I drove back over to the Fayetteville store (46 Hudson Plaza) and asked to speak with the store manager. To my surprise, the store manager stated that she had seen my survey complaint and that she reviewed her video cameras and saw that there were "no" tomatoes on the sandwich I had ordered. I find it absurd that she took the time to watch a surveillance camera of the sandwich being made but made no effort to respond to my survey. I challenged her for calling me a liar about tomatoes that were indeed on my sandwich and I kindly requested a refund. She very rudely refused, in the presence of her staff and other customers. Need I say more. Please do not waste your money or time giving this business your feedback as the store manager made it clear that she does not care. read more
