J Christopher's was recommended to us while visiting family. We were there about 1pm and looking for some yummy food! Upon arrival the place looked not too busy and there was no waiting line! Seated right away and our waitress took our order right away. We ordered breakfast and coffee to drink. We ordered Eggs Benedict (on a toast instead of English muffin) and some scrambled eggs and bacon with English muffin. When our coffee came my husband's cup was dirty (still had lipstick from a previous customer --yuck!!! The coffee pitcher was also dirty! My cup was clean thank goodness or else we would have walked out. Coffee was bitter -possibly low quality grain. Food came fast but we felt the food was not freshly prepared or was just sitting on the hot warmer... waiting to be ordered by someone. Unfortunately our experience was not a great one! Cute decor and friendly staff!

Raining outside so we found shelter in this cool diner. Our waitress greeted us and promptly put in our order. It had a great family vibe because many people spoke and hugged each other including our waitress. We ordered corn beef hash, coke, hot tea and biscuits with gravy. Good breakfast, waitress was great and we walked away happy and full.

Nice place to grab breakfast! I had the skillet. I was able to build my own, although that wasn't an option on the menu. Skillet was decent. Wasn't the best I've had but it was good. Biscuit was excellent.

So I checked in here when I went to eat with some friends the other day and I realized I had checked in multiple times since I left my former three-star review. So let me just say, first off in this day of living in a pandemic.... It was very refreshing to see the covid protocols that this establishment follows. I actually totally felt comfortable eating inside here. And it doesn't hurt that the food is good. Service was friendly and prompt. The Cobb salad is really good and plentiful if you're not into the breakfast scene for lunch. Their turkey sausage is a hand formed and not cookie cutter patties.... I was impressed by that. They're blueberry buck pancakes with the granola mixed in was quite interesting and something I'm going to try even though I'm not a pancake fan. .. for the record the one or two is sufficient, they're actually quite big. I have no problems making modifications to any of the items to fit dietary preferences.

Nice local breakfast/brunch spot. The food can be hit or miss. When it's a hit very enjoyable but when it misses not good at all.

Is there outdoor seating in the Peachtree City, GA location? (I called the restaurant but they only have an automated message that send me to voicemail afterwards.)

The food was very tasty. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes and they were absolutely amazing! The size wasn't too thick and the seasoning was perfect. I had Salmon, broccoli and mashed potatoes and everything was good. My husband had Braised Short Ribs and said they were good. I ordered the Salmon Po Boy to go and my daughter liked it too.

We sat inside and enjoyed a wide selection of popular music. - the music was a little too loud for my liking, but it's just a personal opinion. We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer (half Parmesan & half buffalo). We were given our choice of ranch or buffalo cheese sauce and the wings came with some celery and carrots. We both ordered a popular bourbon cocktail (I can't remember what it was called) and the 12 hour boneless short ribs. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was delicious! Negative remarks: * We wish there was more meat per serving (the short ribs were $25). * After we finished eating, our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes. We were left hovering over empty plates and unable to order the dessert or our check when it came time.

It's always sad to me when this happens, because in my opinion having great food is the hard part. Seeing them excel in that but fail the easy stuff is hard :( What they struck out on: - host and hostess chatting when we walked up, they seemed to be complaining about something. We didn't receive any smiles. Didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Yes I understand it's a job, but warm welcomes are important and they are the first impression for a customer when they walk in. - It was 80 degrees and dreadfully humid outside since it had been raining. They had the doors open and I didn't see or feel any fans or air conditioning running. I saw a patron using a hand fan while we ate. - Since there was no air conditioning running, all the steam from the dishwashing and cooking in the kitchen came out to the dining area and lingered in the air the entire time we ate. We thought it was smoke at first but it didn't have a smell, when we walked out to leave I felt the steam leaving the kitchen area - Unbearably loud. I'm not sure why the acoustics are so bad but there is just nothing absorbing any noise. All the ruckus just echoes. Pretty sure this was mainly due to the tables being somewhat close together and the chairs having no sound buffers. It was suuuper loud when people got up to leave and when bussers were cleaning the tables. - Out of the fried green tomatoes which we were excited to order. - I ran out of water while eating. My drink didn't get filled until maybe 10-15 mins later. - Our waitress was running around, very busy. We didn't get checked on that much. It wasn't her fault. She was very courteous and was working hard. They seemed to not have enough staff on hand. - The napkins shed everywhere? When I opened my napkin a cloud of lint came up from it. It was all over my black shorts when we left. - Ends of the tables were all scratched up. - Decor is a bit of a hodgepodge. Having fake candles at each table for a place that gives southern farmhouse is an interesting choice. - The pimento cheese plate came with only 5 mini pieces of toast. We had to ask for more which was an upcharge. There's no way all the pimento cheese could be eaten on 5 pieces. Their home runs: - The food was amazing. I really liked the steak frites. I ordered the steak medium. It was nice and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was great. My friend and I both liked the pimento cheese and the bread that it came with. We weren't crazy about the house pickles. My friend loved her caesar salad. - The prices are great. Super affordable for high quality food. - Menu is expansive. - We had no wait to be seated. - No trouble parking. Location is convenient. As you can see, the list of cons is very very long. It was truly an odd thing to experience, since the place had such great food. I'm thinking the Curious Pig needs a restaurant management consultant or something? We might try this place again sometime later. We'll see.
