GET THE FRIED FISH. They are known for the fried fish. I now know why. It was perfectly fried. Perfectly. Crispy, delicious outside and tender on the inside. Best piece of fried fish that I have had in a while. My awesome server sent the chef out to my table. I thanked Rho myself. Let him know how much I thoroughly enjoyed the fish. The grits were outstanding. Cheesy enough and well-seasoned and creamy. Egg whites and biscuit were standard. I will be back for the fried fish. Made my week.

Stopped in at Greystone after a meeting for a quick breakfast. My vanilla latte was perfect. I ordered the shrimp & grits but it was just okay. The grits lacked flavor. Our server was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. I would try it again and just order something different. My colleague did say her biscuit tasted great!

A nice quiet spot to meet a friend and grab something to eat. Everyone is very friendly and the service is fast. Pablo was our personable server as we sat at the bar. The food is always hot and freshly made. The prices are reasonable with large portions.

Everything about this experience was 10/10. We did come in about 30 mins before closing time. So please forgive us for that. We were so hungry and this was the closest place. We are so glad we came. We got seated right away. Our sever , Von, was amazing. Very patient with us and give us their top sellers. The menu is vast so there is something for everyone. I was sold on the fried fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. Fried to perfection. The space is typical diner vibes. Very clean and lots of seating. This is a great addition to the Trilith area. I will be back soon!

Greystone is an absolutely fantastic option for this area, the service was on point and attentive, and the food options were excellent as well. The catfish was cooked perfectly along with the grits and eggs. If I return to this location I'm definitely coming back!

The food lacked flavor. We came at 11am and had salmon croquettes "not very pleasant" and a grits jj bowl "flavorless"

Friends were meeting here and I was intrigued. Interesting reviews and pictures…read more So decided to get there early and was not disappointed, except for one thing and it was kind of understandable. What I loved... The cute and engaging decor, very bright and colorful. I found a new favorite donut with their gluten-free red velvet. Moist and delicious Their signature dish of the egg on top of the hash browns was yum. Yum. The chunks of potatoes are crispy and the eggs were cooked just right. There was enough hash browns there that I saved some and cooked more eggs the next day at home Although my husband didn't like his scrambled eggs because he says they were as flat and not fluffy. And they were not very busy when we arrived and had additional staff come in as their peak hour approached around 9:00. The gal that was doing it all had to stop and make coffee and I think she rushed it a little bit because it wasn't hot and it was bitter... She gladly warmed it up for me and when she topped it off it wasn't as bitter

It had peppers, onions, jalapeños & some crack sauce. All the flavors, spices & crack sauce just mixed all well together. The crack sauce is mato based. Customer service was good as the cashier answered most of my questions. I would definitely visit HERO again 4

The City Cafe & Bakery in Fayetteville seems to be a staple of the community. I visited twice now…read more&, both times, noticed groups of families and friends gathering happily to celebrate birthdays and special occasions ! Note for out-of-town visitors -- I think dining here is more about the aspect of communal dining than expectations for a truly 5-star meal, as I've found the food to be overall average. Especially for the price. The hostess is friendly and helpful. My waitresses have been attentive and kind. The service is good and consistent. The food menu is very limited in options for vegans & vegetarians. They serve beer, wine & spirits. There is a drink menu available upon request for beer, wine and spirits. There was a guitar player playing beautiful live music for the duration of my first visit (Feb 2026). During my most recent visit (8 April 2026), I ordered the Pecan Crusted grouper with red cabbage & seasonal veggies. The grouper was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside & topped with a strawberry mango fruit compote. Both the cabbage and veggies were overcooked which was disappointing bc I appreciate some good texture! The flavors were good though. So if completely softened veggies are your thing, I think you'd enjoy them. To drink, I ordered a mocktail that is new to the drink menu -- a Triple Citrus Paloma. It was refreshingly tart & garnished with a honey dipped Tajin rim! Shoutout to Lucinda for curating it. Additionally, my husband and I shared the salmon croquettes as an appetizers & I had the key lime tart to go. Neither was necessarily memorable (I completely forgot about them until prompted by Yelp to review this review) but I'd order the croquettes again! City Cafe & Bakery has a pretty vast selection of desserts! Cakes. Pies. Tarts. Petit fours. Cookies. Cannolis. Cheesecake. Eclairs. Mousse. Everything is baked in-house except the macarons. Be sure to ask about the promos. Wednesday & Thursday, purchase an adult entree get a free slice of cake or any 3" pastry. Wednesday thru Saturday, kids eat free from 3-8 pm. I also saw a flyer for their Mother's Day brunch buffet on Sunday, May 10th. It's from 11 am - 3 pm. $49 for Adults. $29 for Kids, under 12. Available for booking online.

Yes I have been there before and only give them 4 stars probably because their reputation was so big I needed to balance that... Totally in on 5 stars now. #1 Food -- been around FOREVER but still hear of people making it a point to support the locally owned business. Now they partner with the local brewery AWKWARD for Octoberfest and that has opened up new doors for them... and they celebrate on their patio all month long. The bakery is one of the best in the area. I was able to order sausage through them for a special party that they buy from a meat packer WAY on the other side of Atlanta. #2 Service -- the fact that they would work with me to add on to their meat order shows they care about the community and their customers. That they would partner with a small brewery to bring their Schnitzel and all the other things they make great that are traditional German dishes shows openness to collaborate and grow rather than compete. And they are very efficient in house to keep the table moving without feeling rushed, because there almost always is a wait at dinner. #3 Small dining area, but feels as comfortable as grandmas. Authentic 'bistro' decor. The bakery goods case is the showcase in the room... always calling out for desert or tomorrow's breakfast to take home with you.

Let me be very clear: the drive was 100% worth it. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt elevated. The seating, the staff, the food, the live pianist, the atmosphere, even the other guests -- everything worked together to create one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. And the food... I absolutely gorged myself on that buffet, with zero regrets. From the main selections to the dessert station -- which featured authentic bananas foster -- every single bite was incredible. The quality, the presentation, the flavor -- all of it was just out of this world. Honestly, part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I want to make sure I get a seat again next Christmas. But it would be a crime not to share how special this place is. I can't speak on anything outside of their dinner service, but if you go just for that, I promise you -- you will not, you cannot, leave disappointed. I would put money on that.

At Village Cafe I ordered 2 sides of salmon and 1 side of chicken (these proteins are options to top their salads). When my order arrived, the salmon didn't look terrible but the chicken looked like it was beaten. However, when I took a bite of the salmon, I could tell it was slightly rancid, ready to turn to fully rancid. I eat A LOT of salmon and I can tell when salmon is about to go bad/not good quality and the salmon served to me was honestly borderline trash. It wasn't 100% inedible and I also hate food waste, so I ate it... Excuse me, choked it down... And thought to myself how NOT GOOD it was the entire time. The chicken was dry AF (salmon as well) but it had better flavor than the salmon (ie: it didn't taste like it was going bad). My friends didn't say a word about their food, they just ate so I think they didn't mind their meals but they also weren't mind blowing or they would have said something. I ordered a ribeye to go for my husband (before I tasted my food) and was worried it was going to be trash but he told me that it was phenomenal. So perhaps stick with the red meat at Village Cafe if you give it a shot. Just avoid the salmon at all costs!
