I have been here many times and it is hit or miss when it comes to service and food quality. This last time I came during lunch and it wasn't too busy, but the workers behind the counter looked miserable and as if I was ruining their day by being there. The food though was actually really good and the chips and salsa were probably the best they've ever been from here. This is a quick in and out restraunt. I did a togo order. One of the best parts is you tell them what you want on your food. They keep the restraunt clean and appear to be cooking food all the time. When you order a soda, you have a choice of drinks made with real sugar or the ones made with high fructose corn syrup. I prefer real sugar. read more

Three of us ate bowls at this location today, 30 June 2021, at about 5pm. The entire store seems to be run by young girls (no apparent "adult" among them). The food was luke warm, then when toppings were added made the food refrigerator cold. We sat to eat inside, and within minutes an overwhelming stench of open sewage was wafting from the A/C vents. Each of us could smell it. I shared this with the line staff. From somewhere in the back a young male manager was informed, who simply shrugged it off and went back to work. I really like the other Diablos locations, but this one is just terrible. I'm in here and it's freezing cold, the staff says they're unable to change the thermostat. Fat on the steak, filthy restaurant. Everyone in my group who ordered a bowl got food on it they didn't order and the employees seem like they could care less and are doing you a favor by selling you food. The beef bowl is my favorite, I start off with the ground beef with rice and the comes my toppings, pico,cheese,black olives and black beans with some sour cream to top it off. Now I usually come here because it's close. Let me explain what I just seen and felt. First, the line was wrapped around the building but they couldn't help that because it's a Friday night. However, the people serving were completely rude. I ordered a quesadilla in store, waited and 15 minutes later they come and tell me that my order was burned so now I'm waiting an additional 15 minutes. This place has terrible management apparently. I used to love coming to diablos in Athens (which apparently closed down) but this place has ridiculous corporate micromanagement. First off nothing is fresh anymore. I always get the same thing, double chicken bowl with all of the cold items (lettuce, cheese, onions, etc) on the side so they don't get soggy on the way home. Apparently because they're in separate containers even though it's all for the same bowl, they were going to charge me another $10 for a "veggie bowl". I won't be back, rather give my money to chipotle, who doesn't have absurd rules like this. Not to mention the lettuce was brown and the customer service was terrible. It isn't fancy but we liked it. It's a build your own burrito, or enchilada, or whatever it is you are having. They have a choice of steak, chicken, beef or pork and you go from there. They also offer tofu and veggie. It's tasty and we hit it up every time we are in town. read more

I went to Diablos yesterday for dinner and to my surprise they were allowing people in the restaurant to order their food. Mind you, Diablos food is up front, not back in the kitchen. I did not see one customer with a mask on and the line was wrapped around to the door. There were definitely more than the allowed amount of people within the store. I understand the governors have allowed businesses to open but that is just NOT SAFE. So, I left and ate at Applebee's across the street. When my husband suggested we go here, based on recommendations from his coworkers...I should've know it was a bad idea. We sit down and the dining area is a mess, we have to wipe down our table and chairs. I eat here frequently as I work in Grovetown. I always order the same thing and have never had any issues. Today, I ordered the usual and the employee acted like she didn't know what she was doing. They have a large selection than the mentioned restaurant so that's always a good thing. I got chicken nachos. The chips did not hold up to the slightest pressure. I love Diablo's! I go there all the time as their food is always good. It's clearly inspired by Chipotle but the food has its own taste. Also, they don't charge extra for avocado like Chipotle does. Another big plus is they have a Jones Soda machine along with the regular soda so you can enjoy something other than Coke products. read more

Discovered Diablos recently and in love! I especially love this location because of the friendly staff. They are professional, friendly, and aren't cheap with their servings. The food is very good. But overtime the cleanliness of the restaurant has went downhill tremendously. It used to be very tidy and clean but now the tables are always dirty, floors look terrible and the chairs are scummy & filthy. Chipotle/Moe's styled restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Walked in to a small line well after rush hour to wait 20 mins before receiving our food. Food was cold once we received it. There was no management to be seen. Out of chicken, steak and chips. My wife ordered a steak burrito and only received 3 steak bits due to them being out of steak. She was not offered any meat supplement and paid full price for burrito. If you think about trying this location you are much better off taking a drive to either Chipotle or Moe's. read more

This location is so perfect and they are very attentive. I was unintentionally passed over while i was bent down helping out my niece. The employee was on a roll taking orders and didn't realize he had skipped me... when the manager noticed what happened he was very quick to bring it to the employees attention to help get my order taken care of. It was an innocent mistake but meant a lot for them to ensure that my order was taken in a timely manner. I always look forward to eating at this location. read more

Ordered thru Augustatogo tonight. Two salads and some tacos. Salads had no romaine lettuce only a little shredded lettuce. When I go in to eat they automatically put romaine lettuce in the bowl- if this was not standard than they should have the option on the online ordering. So my salad was not really salad it was chicken with cilantro and topped with shredded iceberg. Where's the salad? 50$ for 3 meals! And no romaine lettuce in the salad? Very disappointed.
