Jersey Mikes is our favorite sub shop! We use them when we are in a pinch for a quick dinner or also when we have a crowd to feed with their catering sub trays. My family loves the #13 Italian - Mikes way, of course! I recommend having the sub prepared and waiting at least 15 minutes to eat it so the flavors have time to come together. Service was a little slower than I'm used to, but I was still very happy with the end result. Great place for sandwiches. I love that they cut the meat fresh here. The manager Katrina is always super nice, as is all their staff. It's hard to say what my favorite sandwich is. It's a tie between the Buffalo chicken on a tomato basil wrap, or the Chipotle chicken Philly. Either way, the red pepper relish is the way to go! read more

The best sub place in the world. I have visited 4 restaurants in the CSRA and have never had a bad experience. The customer service is always on point no matter how busy they are. I either order the #13 or the Philly cheesesteak and they never disappoint. Just the right amount condiments and just the right amount of lettuce. There is ample amount of meat and veggies. If your want lunch don't bother I really like the food but this business across the board of all locations they have not figured out how to handle a lunch crowd.I am not talking 20 or 30 customers I am talking 8 or 9 people. combined with their in ability to navigate through orders for Door dash Uber eats and who ever else shows up looking for food from an online app. It really sucks because the food is good but waiting 45min for lunch at a fast food place that isnt using table servers in not reasonable for one customer with a single sandwich order. weekends and nights are typically much better but forget about lunch during the week, it is a no go. Sad because most other food offerings are not as fresh or healthy looking for a Jimmy Johns close by I guess. read more

So I placed an online order thinking it would be ready when I got there. 20 minutes later when I arrived, not ready. Waited another 15 and they finally picked it up off the counter behind them and handed it to me. My hot sandwich was COLD. Luckily, this is the only location I have had a bad experience. Love, love, love the subs here. All of the ingredients taste super fresh. Best subs in the area in my opinion. I typically visit here at least twice a month to get my sandwich fix. They now offer gluten free bread options as well for those with allergies or intolerance to gluten. Check them out. The prices are pretty great too! read more

I just left this establishment and when the friendly crew is there it's always a great experience. However, The awesome crew is not working today so the people working currently at 4:15 on June 22, 2022, working with Arieonna are piss poor and they ALL had an attitude. The tall dark skin dude with braids and facial hair who took my order incorrectly has a bad attitude and act as if he didn't want to be there. The tall light skin girl with the dreads/braids had and attitude because she had to make my Philly cheese order over again. The manager was piss poor too she refunded my money and I didn't even ask for a refund I only wanted the correct sub. What a pathetic experience. When I go back and if any of them are working I will turn around and walk back out. SMH. read more

This place is amazing in customer service! I had my newborn son with me in the car and I called to get assistance with my food because it's was so difficult for me to go inside. The manager literally came outside took my order and brought it back to my car. I can't tell you how much this helped me as a new mom trying to get food and manage everything with my baby. Ordered my food on the app 30 minutes before I arrived and I clicked on asap (15min) and when I arrived my food still wasn't being prepared and they have me waiting 20 extra minutes. The people inside were in line, ordered their food, and gotten it before me. Oh my goodness, do I love a good sandwich! I can't stand the other popular chain and for some reason, the JJ chain makes my stomach hurt and those guys used to be my home away from home during college. I got Jersey Mike's confused with another Jersey style sub but already had a laundry list of sandwiches, so stood in line and anticipated a good 20 minutes of twiddling my thumbs and looking around. The crowd on a Saturday was nuts and I found myself in the middle of the store with a group of other families and one particularly angry woman with a strong eastern european accent shout directions at the most patient meat slicer in history. She kept trying to touch the meat and inspect the thinness of turkey because apparently "it can only be turkey. Nothing can touch the turkey. Let me touch. Why can't I touch? That's stupid. Okay." Argues with her husband and then proceeds to embarrass her children...for 6 minutes, not including whatever time she spent before I stood in line. All told, it took 25 minutes to grab 6 sandwiches with no modifications thanks to the domino effect of loud and rude ahead of me. The customer service here was fantastic though and the staff was amazing with their willingness to accommodate the occasional strange garbled request. I use to not be a fan of Jersey Mike's, probably due to over-consumption. But recently I dropped into a JM and tried their Big Kahuna Cheesesteak and now I'm addicted. On my way back from Charleston to Atlanta I stopped right outside of Augusta in Grovetown. There I found a JM right off the exit and went in for my Big Kahuna. I was very pleased at the staff her, there were 4 of them working and they were all hoping, very friendly, and provided great service. I give 4 out of 5 stars only because the salsa in my baja chicken wrap tasted straight from the jar. The goal was to avoid the line and order online. But half my order was missing. I had the pleasure of re-buying the missing sandwich and go thru the barrage of endless questions about what and how to make it. This location is really frustrating because when you are talking to the employees the music and background noise is so loud that they can't hear you and you can't hear them. So you spend a good portion of the time yelling things like 'no onions' while doing frantic hand motions. The other annoying aspect about this particular location is that the employees wear the plastic gloves and touch their hair, money, cash register and then the sandwich bread, meat and cheese. My guess is that they only use one set of plastic gloves per day. But if you can get past the game of charades, and questionable hygiene, and the jinky app... it's still jersey mike and it's hard to screw up a sandwich. read more

So I've been to both locations and have met one of the owners. Really nice guy. I've been to the Grovetown location more times than I can count and have enough points to get free subs for a while lol. I'm pretty particular of the types of food I eat which has not been a factor here. This place has me covered when I need them. Can't go wrong with a Chipotle Cheese Steak, Chicken Parmesan, or a #9 Club Supreme. Those are my go to sandwiches and of course everyone has different tastes. Great friendly staff and fresh food. Word of warning though. Beat the rush if you don't want to wait in line. It's good enough to wait for if you have the time. They do give discounts for the military also. read more

This is my spot for a cheese steak sandwich. The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to meet your needs. I once had a buddy ask them about their roast beef... they used the slicer and sliced off a few... well... slices for him to visually inspect. He was not pleased (he's kind of a meat snob) but they were still ultra friendly and recommended other options. The hot sandwiches are cooked right there on the grille as opposed to other places that just take pre-cooked meat and microwave it. It takes a bit longer, but it's so worth it. They have the usual chips and drink to go with your amazing sandwich. Overall they are a little pricier, but when when you get fresh ingredients and hot sandwiches cooked while you wait, it's so worth it. read more

The customer service and friendliness of the GM (Corina) and the staff is unparalleled. I am a regular here and have never once had a bad experience. I am so done with this place! No matter how many times I have ordered from here and it's quite a few times a week each time my order is not done correctly. I spoke to the manager of months ago and he admitted to me that because they are so busy they allow the drivers from Postmates to come in and fill the orders for their customers that they are delivering to. I have gotten food that looks as if someone ate it and drinks where the cups were less than half full. I was under the impression in order to be a food handler you had to be cleared by the health department but apparently Jersey Mike's doesn't care about that. Tonight was the last straw when I ordered a cheesesteak with extra meat in a tub and instead of getting extra meat they filled up the plate with lettuce! I don't eat lettuce. I am allergic to it. And when was the last time anybody put lettuce on a Philly cheese steak? So instead of filling my order correctly and giving me the extra meat and cheese that I paid for, they used lettuce as a filler in a feeble attempt to make it appear that there was extra meat! Did you think that I would not notice that the lettuce was buried like a dog hides a bone under the top skimpy layer of the cheese steak??? Don't bother to ask for a manager because either they are too busy or off that day. Forget about the promise to get a call back because seeing a cow jump over the moon would happen a lot sooner. I have been to other Jersey Mike's and I have never had any problems. As a former neighbor to New Jersey, I can speak for them by saying that what this location offers is substandard and pales in comparison with the other locations!!! read more

Also, considering that the line can get very long, the staff needs to be proactive about telling people who have ordered a "hot" sandwich to have a seat, and they will be called when their order is ready. Great location. It's a brand new location and the first one I have been to. It's always busy! The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. Way better than Subway, imo.
