Mains were delicious but they provided the wrong sides despite them repeating it back to us twice. We really wish we both got the chips we asked for and were told we were getting.

Best Deli for when your in the mood for some great wings. There were many other tasty sounding flavors for wings but I eventually went with the Asian Sesame Chicken Wings. And boy they were awesome!! They reminded me of like a sweet and spicy flavor and it was an excellent combination. Can't wait to come back to try other flavors in the future. :)

Great sandwich with the best Carolina gold BBQ sauce. They have great potato salad, I can taste the sour cream in the recipe and I think it helps with the redskin potato's.

The food wasn't the best but they had good service. The fish didn't have any season. The salad and fries were good.

My first experience with Village Deli was via delivery order using Waitr. I ordered D-Lite salad with fried chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were just ok, but the rest of the salad was good. My co-worker who lives near by the Village is a huge fan and encouraged me to explore the rest of the menu. The menu seems expansive - from potstickers, to Philly cheesesteaks, and even quesadillas - it looks like Village can help with just about whatever craving you may have. Can't wait to try some more items on the menu.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. So I popped in one day. Sophie, the server, was excellent. She was very friendly, she knew the food, and she acted in a professional way. I ordered the fried mushrooms. They come with a nice ranch, or you can get a horseradish dip. I opted for the horseradish. Those mushrooms are some of the best I have ever put in my face! I also got the Deluxe Philly Cheese, which is cooked with so much beef it falls out of the bun. It also has mushrooms, onions, a good cheese, and red & green bell pepper. Comes with a side of fries. That sandwich is well worth driving across town in heavy traffic for! It is not too large, nor too small. I can guarantee it will keep your belly button from rubbing on your backbone for a long time. The one spider in the iced tea......but the Deli still gets 5 stars. I ordered the Fish & Chips. Catfish is not normally associated with Fish & Chips, but I thought I might give it a try. The fish was good. Fried up little nuggets. But they came with potato chips! Really? Soggy ones at that. I could bend one of the potato chips double, and it wouldn't break. But they gave me an order of fries on the house. No malt vinegar, no tartar sauce. The unsweet tea was great, and Sophie kept it coming. The one thing the menu lacks is a good Chicago dog, but I will be back to the Village Deli.

Tis a very quiet hole in the wall! Full of EVERYTHING you expect in a Resturant / Bar & Some more!! Nice & Cozy styled restaurant in the front, and a nice full sized bar located in the back. Drinks are "AMAZING" Ask for the Made by "HANA" drinks (limited to two drinks) OFF THE CHAIN! The FOOD IS FLAWLESS!! You can not go wrong here at all! More to come!!!

We went to Augusta, Ga to attend our friend's wedding. So, on the night before, we wanted to get dinner and this place was recommended to us by our friend and by one of the hotel staff. So, we gave it a go with great anticipation. After starting with some chips and salsa, my wife Kathey chose the salmon platter, which came with rice and steamed broccoli. My pick was the hamburger steak platter, which featured grilled onions and mushrooms over top along with some brown gravy. I also picked the loaded potato salad along with some fresh steamed green beans. The food wasn't up to what we were led to believe it would be. The salmon was dry and the rice was bland but the broccoli was done correctly. My Hamburg steak was nothing more than a hamburger and the potato salad has a tart taste that I didn't expect. The freshly steamed green beans tasted like they were fresh out of the can. Needless to say, this place didn't do it for us. I think it's more of a sandwich type shop. It's safe to say that I can scratch this place off of my list. The service was great though, on a very busy Friday night.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

I looked up steakhouses near the area on Yelp and Finch & Fifth had the best reviews. My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

There is plenty of parking. I'm not sure why it's called "at the river" bc I didn't see a river. There is inside and an outside enclosed area for seating when you enter from the parking lot. It is decorated like a casual bar and grill. My server was in training but friendly and worked alongside his trainer head server. For beverages, I ordered the oyster shooter and that Bloody Mary did not disappoint. I also had a Black Raspberry Margarita. This seems to be a thing in Augusta for Margaritas as well as this was the 2nd restaurant I went to and had this. The other place was better though. But let's talk about the food! The catfish was super tasty. They gave me fries although I didn't order them, and of course I still ate them. I had a side of baked potato salad. I should've asked why they're baked, but that was just okay. I had the TASTE OF BEAMIES- chicken & shrimp gumbo, black eyed pea jambalaya, shrimp and grits, my fav's in order were the chicken and shrimp gumbo, the shrimp and grits, then the black eyed pea jambalaya. I also ordered the 1/2 dozen Rockefeller oysters and they were amazing. The hush puppies that came with them were just okay. Overall, I enjoyed this meal.
