Love Firehouse Subs!! Their steak sub is the best I've had anywhere! My husband's fav is the Hook and Ladder.

10.12.22, I was on the North end of Salisbury Md. I got a hunger pain that lead me to Firehouse Subs. I had not been here in a while ( so it was time ). Once again service was awesome...I like the Italian Grilled Chk Salad and it's made just like I like it. It's so creatively prepared...I just look at it first. The individual that prepares my salad ( when he is there is very good ) Slender Gentleman, jet black hair with a pony tail. This food is very good. It's not you're "same old" sub food. Bread is fresh, pickles and sides are good and the choices are great. The staff was warm, friendly, polite and the service was quick and efficient. I have this a 3 because of the cleanliness of this particular place. The drink counter was sloppy and not wiped down with coke droplet splashed all over the ice machine. The floor was filthy, the bathroom was also messy needing to be moped and wiped down. We arrived on a Tuesday at about noon. We stayed for an hour. Even when there we no customers in line, no staff member ever engaged in wiping down tables from customers who had left. We had to wipe our own table down. It's great food and great service. They just need to add some cleaning processes to make it a 5 star. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. I was the only person in the store with two people working both completely preoccupied on their cell phones. When they finally started making my sandwich, I asked politely for the guy to change his gloves, as in between making my sandwich he kept getting on his cell phone. Delay after delay - goes in the back room, on the phone again, puts the gloves back on - he did use sanitizer, I'll give him that. Then, when I go to leave, he gives me a smart mouth "have a great night" - I threw my sandwich in the garbage because I didn't trust it. Like I said, avoid this place. read more

Asked for a cheese sub and when I got home it was a roll with 3 pieces of cheese. Never again!!

They were open but they just decided to turn their hot subs off and only off cold subs. Half hour before close. Amazing places don't want to do business anymore. read more

Hi. We are newish to the area so have been wanting to try these subs. Husband picked up and sadly my sammy was wrong ( supposed to be turkey but also had ham and roast beef). Also got potato chips and they are stale. Bread was good but there are so many sub shops here, not sure if we will be back. read more

Best subs I've had by far. Prepared exactly like I wanted it, without any misses. They were on point with everything. I will be returning. Great job . Customer service was awesome. The service here is fast and the staff is friendly. I've been to Firehouse Subs a couple of times and it always hits the spot. This location is no different. I tried the Turkey Bacon Ranch this go around and its definitely pretty good. I'd recommend that if you like turkey, bacon, ranch, those three things together in sandwich form, or if you can't decide and want me to choose for you...and if you don't want that then get the Beef/Cheddar Brisket sandwich. You definitely can't go wrong with that one. read more

The subs are tasty but i wouldn't rate them as any better than subway...The amount of meat and toppings were sufficient but could have been a little more... The sub shop is clean and nice in appearance and the staff was fine...No complaints but nothing exceptional... read more

Thought I would try something new. Just walked it at 8:30 pm. They close at 9:00. The employees ignored me and kept cleaning as if they were closed even though they don't close until 9:00. The sandwiches look like they would taste good. I'm disappointed I didn't get to try one. I walked out and went to Chipotle. I doubt I'll come back. They need better training here. read more

Was told it would take 15 minutes to get a salad 25 minutes later I still didn't have my salad. When I asked them to cancel my order cause I was late getting to class they handed me a salad with a whole lot of lettuce and a little bit of lunch meat, that's what they called an 8.00 salad. Subs are good but the employees are probably the worst I've seen. Girl checking us out was not friendly and was basically a robot asking the questions so quick. Guy with twisted hair didn't even speak when he handed us our sub and I said thank you. No response. Been to sooooo many firehouse subs along the east coast. Always great subs and I mean always. And then Salisbury location. Got a bunch of subs for a gathering and was mortified. All the subs were wrong, totally thrown together, one that was supposed to be hot was ice cold inside. Dog hair in mine. We ordered take out later so when I called they were already closed. Called the next day and the owner said they would have remade the subs if I would have said something before I left the store- uh I ordered TAKE OUT. Nice right? then she proceeded to tell me that I should have brought them back in. (I was hosting a get together and I chose that place for food- clearly a mistake)... She would not refund my money for subs that were not edible. Definitely called the credit card company which helped me. Also- when I called this location they said they have so many complaints they don't know what to do. They also said they weren't sure when the owner was going to even come in. That is not like ANY other location I've visited. We have been to over 10 from MD to Florida. Obviously will never be back to this one read more
