I have ordered here many times. My food is generally good, but always late (more than 15 minutes). Today. I have waited almost an entire hour after my online order was supposed to be done. I tried to cancel my order via the app but it would not allow it. I talked to the store employee and she said they were working on the order. I have watched more than 10 people come in and leave without ordering. Who owns this store? Why are they letting the service and cleanliness decline so much? It's really dirty in here and people are getting hostile because they can't get the food they ordered and paid for. I won't come here again.

Soggy mushy bread. Chicken bacon ranch. Took the lettuce and tomato off because that was making it even soggier.

Disgusting, the bread was so soggy I literally could squeeze oil out of it. The boxes the sandwich came in was filthy. Gross.

Good food! A little bit slow making, but they have been very busy every time I have been in there (at least 6 times).

I'm going to stretch out and give this place the 5th star! I typically try to stay away from…read morerestaurants that have a denomination before a family member, because they're usually a train wreck. Like "5 Guys" (which is absolute garbage, and I have no idea how this place stays in business, because I've never seen a single one of these have any customers inside) But I'm digressing, and I'm glad I gave this place a shot! I walked over here, and I walked through the patio dining area, through the patio entrance/exit, not realizing that the main exit was just around the corner of the building but I made it in anyhow. The kid up front was super nice, and asked me where I wanted to sit and I chose the bar, naturally! This place is super clean, even the bathrooms, so that was really nice. A bunch of TVs, and I think I even saw signage for live music on Fridays? But it's a pretty big venue, and they even have their own private dining room for private parties, at least I'm guessing. My bartender, was a spitting image of a woman I know in the town where I live, in the Eastern Sierra mountains. I literally had to double take and triple take to make sure it wasn't her. But unlike the lady I know, this bartender was nothing short of excellent! One star goes for the knowledgeable bartender, and the successful owner knowing that 'extra lime' means WEDGES, not WHEELS. It wasn't too busy in there, but she was really attentive to the bar patrons, and was on top of her game. Everybody sitting at the bar area, were so nice to one another, we were all talking and I ended up meeting this really nice, older gentleman that I chit-chatted with up until he left. I love the fact that the people here are so open and comfortable with one another and can engage in friendly banter. So that being said, my bartender constantly kept an eye on me and never interrupted my conversations when she wanted to offer me another drink or to order supper. She always timed it perfectly right! I'm on a no carb kick, so I ordered the smothered pork chops, with steamed broccoli and asparagus. Man, was it good. Those asparagus were popped down over an open flame and roasted, and even though very simple and basic, some of the best asparagus I've had at a restaurant ever. My whole trip was very enjoyable, and it looks like I'll be here in Sioux City for a few more days at least, so I will probably poke my head in there, this weekend! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS PLACE. I eat all over the country, from fine dining, to little holes in the wall in the deep south. This right here is a sure bet! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. When we were there yesterday, a woman told me she drives from Ponca just for their barbecue and walked out with a whole tray full of ribs. It's that good. Make sure to watch their Facebook page for updates on when they will be open and when they are sold out for the day. They also will give you a preview of what the menu is for the day and what is upcoming. I hear the seafood that they do is amazing. I can't wait to be there for that sometime. If you're on historic fourth in downtown, Sioux City, you won't see a restaurant with this name. Look for the bar Major's and as long as they are serving, you have found your place! This place is a sports bar with plenty of TVs, beer on tap, and your basic mixed drinks. So grab some barbecue, grab a beer, and watch a game while you stuff your face!

When you walk through the door, there is a long, 1940's style soda fountain counter right in front of you. Wooden booths flank the two windows, and the remainder of the space is taken up by tables and chairs. A gift shop is off to the right. They go all out for holidays and a Halloween animatronic greeted us when we entered (this is written in October.) While deciding what to order, sodas were accompanied by ice cold frosted mugs. Menu is small and they were out of a couple of items. The food is ok, but there were two issues which resulted in the four stars, instead of five. 1.) The grilled cheese sandwich was grilled in grease that left an odd taste. Not enough to deter eating it, but definitely noticeable. 2.) The chicken salad tasted like it was made with a cheap sandwich dressing, not mayonnaise - a little bit disappointing. Service was quick and super friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a repeat visit if only to see the seasonal decorations. By the way, you can only pay by cash or check. No credit cards accepted.

I've walked past this place a few times throughout these past few days, and there are ALWAYS lines of cars. The 2 times I've been here, families are always uniting and dining together. It's nice not to have to deal with riffraff while eating. The first time I had Culver's, I had a normal butterburger. I remember it was really good. The fries too. And it was JUST enough food. But this time around, I ordered a bacon deluxe, w/out a bun and a side salad (cuz I need to cut down on my carbs), but without thinking, I got a raspberry vinaigrette, that has 10 grams of sugar. I caught it before emptying the packet completely. Anyway I digress. I was still hungry, in lieu of not having the bun, so i tried the QR code at my table, and ordered a grilled chicken sammich (no bun). Both the burger and chicken were PERFECT. Hot, fresh and moist. I personally think the bun help makes the burger, but still good to me. The place is pretty clean, and all the employees were super nice. There were like 4 of us chit chatting while I ordered. And it's also nice to have your food brought out while dining in. My only gripe, which isn't even a store issue, was trying to sign up for rewards. It kept asking me for information that I had already input, and bounced me around to a couple different pages, frustrating me, and then after everything is submitted, it turns around and tells me there was an error on the web page or something. So I just said screw it, I don't eat here often enough to even use points. All in all, I will be back eventually. Thank you, Culver's, for a great "health conscious" meal!! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
