I have always thought these subs are the best in the area. Was so disappointed when they closed some. Found myself in the Stone Park area so I decided to stop. The pastrami was good as usual. Saw a sign for garlic bread which I love so I decided to try theirs. Freaked me out. Quite possibly the best I've ever had which is a lot. Very buttery and garlicky. You don't get a crunch here. Firehouse subs as a general rule is a great place for a sandwich. No complaints about my sandwich preparation at this location. However this place is filthy. I was in the men's washroom and it did not look like it had been cleaned thoroughly in a long time. There was "scum" around the sink faucet that was pretty gross. The floor in the eating area was also left to be desired. If they are not clean generally, then you wonder about their sanitation and food prep area. Would love to return however, hopefully they can get a detailed cleaning program in there soon. read more

If I could give this place 10+ stars I would. Amazing customer service! I came in today to get an order for my office and while I was waiting for it to be made I got a call that all of our computer systems were down (I work in IT). I had to rush back to my office to fix the problem. I was still 2 or 3 tickets away from my order being prepared so it was going to be a few minutes. The owner/manager (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) was amazing. I wasn't sure what to do since I couldn't wait for the food. She said "No problem, give me your address and I will bring it to you when its ready". I gave her the info and rushed back to my office. True to her word she showed up a few minutes later with my food. This was amazing customer service. Most other places would have simply refunded the money or told me that I would have had to wait, but not this location. They went above and beyond for me while I was dealing with an emergency. On top of it all, the food tasted amazing. I suggested this to a few of my co-workers who have never been to Firehouse before and they loved it. They're already making plans to go there again this week and put it on the list of one of our regular places to go. read more

My mother and I went there for the first time and orders the food. It was really good and tasty. Thing about my mother she always picky about food and it was so great and she was amazed how well the food was she ate everything on her plate and that wasn't normal. Few week later she wanted to go again and of course the foods she still love it. So for my mother who is 85 years old really gave the shock for loving this restaurant because it is hard to take her places where she always pickie. This one she was not and we still go there when she want that. I am glad she found something she really like and would eat the whole plate of food. Everytime i come into this store , they always mess up my order . Today after the third time coming here, they literally forgot about my order . And then when asked them about it they literally had two orders ready ahead of me, not only did i lose my lunch , but also my time. I placed a catering order for a meeting on line and needed to make an adjustment. I called the catering number and the woman who answered the phone was very helpful and suggested calling the store. I spoke to Mia, who was a pleasure to work with and assured me the delivery from Stone Park to downtown would be on time. On time it was, early as a matter of fact! Sam knows the downtown area and knew the delivery time was important, he came in, placed a tablecloth down and set everything up for me. The salad and sandwich platter looked delicious and the extra sandwiches I ordered were each cut in half and placed in a box with labels. There were plenty of compliments after the meeting, it was an administrative assistants dream. I am looking forward to working with Firehouse Subs again and again. read more

We were looking for something a little different he had the club on a sub which he says was excellent and I had the meatball sub it tasted really good I'd get it again. When I arrived I was provided a detailed review of the menu which really helped because I did not even realize they had salads. I ordered a hook & ladder and really enjoyed every bite. Carryout is best, hot subs take a while to make, so order ahead. Hook is amazing, whole family likes all different subs. If you order ahead and tell them what time, always on time. Great staff.
