We "love" the Firekeepers Hotel & Casino, we try to go every last Tuesday of the month,Senior day, we go there early they have a raffle every hr on the hr. from 9a to 4p, different denominations. I won at the Black Jack table & l really felt bad taking there money, and also did fair at the craps table, they tried to take my money. We also ate at there cafe our server was " Brittney"a 10 of 10, We shared a Cobb Salad, Chix Quesadilla both were awesome, we were hungry. Dinner at Darcy's sports book restaurant was fabulous! We went to see David Lee Roth in concert tonight started at 8 PM. He played Panama, which wasn't too bad but he sounded horrible. He played four songs in a row that nobody knew what it was or what he was actually singing. He was telling stories on stage. We left early because it was so bad. I wish we can get our money back! The casino itself is super clean and well-kept, but I'll be real.. the vibe was off. The food at Daceys Sportbook don't open until 4PM, which threw me off because it's a casino... you expect food and drinks flowing all day. I went to Smoke 'n Fire which was across the hall and got the brisket nachos and they were AMAZING. Definitely the highlight of my trip. I got a drink at both restaurants. The casino is very clean and kepted up. My friends and I stop here to gamble and drink before we got to our destination. We did not stay at the hotel so this review is just gonna be able the casino. They are doing renovations on the casino. Parking was a little confusion and the walk from the structure was long. When you walk in, the casino is just normal and business was going. So we were here on Christmas. The place is packed with people who either don't have family or want to eat out for Christmas and game. My wife love slots (they were very tight) and I like table games. The table games were full to bursting with people waiting for a spot. They were only seating 5 people to a six person table. Most blackjack tables were a $25 or $15 minimum, there was only one with a $10 minimum. They apparently just went to plastic playing cards from paper last week and the automatic shufflers kept breaking down. The two floor Bosses were running around saying they didn't know what to do and wouldn't let the dealers hand shuffle. We sat at our table along with at least three other tables waiting for someone to make a decision from 4:15 pm until they got ours working at 4:50 pm. The next shift came in at 4:30 pm and got most of them running. Dealers were nice, didn't do well. But that is gambling. I'm going with a three because "four" seems too generous. This is a big casino with a wide rage of machines and table games. I prefer the slots, and they have a lot from vintage to the newest. The minimum bets are getting up there. In any cases (esp. those designed with an Asian theme), they're more than I want to pay per pull -- like 88 cents. I know; I'm a low-stakes gambler but I'm not leaving my house payment (or even car payment) behind. Seems like the machines are crowded a little close and, like Vegas casinos, you really have to work to find your way out when you're ready. That said, I had a decent time. The machines paid out dribs and drabs. Three "bonuses" on one machine paid me two times my bet, four times my bet, and then three times my bet. In my book, a true "bonus" is at LEAST 10x my bet. Nice enough atmosphere. A pot shop right across the street, and Kellogg's World Headquarters not far away. read more

I've been to FireKeepers over the years but this was my first time staying at the hotel. My husband and I booked the standard king room for $89 a night (weekday rate) and was impressed with how spacious and comfortable our room was. They even have a Keurig in the room, which to me is a big deal, because I need my morning coffee or bad things happen lol. Everywhere we went was clean and sanitized. From hotel personnel to the waitstaff to the blackjack dealers, everyone was polite and professional. We had dinner at Dacey's Taphouse and enjoyed our burgers and drinks. Service was quick despite how busy and limited with social distancing they are. They now have a smoke free policy in the casino which I think is great. With designated heated outside smoking areas it's a win-win for everyone. I stuck with slot machines this trip and my husband played blackjack. We both won a little bit and had a relaxing overnight getaway during the shutdown. FireKeepers is doing it right with safety in mind. See you on our next trip to Michigan! read more

I will start with the bad and end on a positive note. The website says they have a two story pool, which I was anxious to see. I'm not quite sure why it's a two story pool. It does have some waterfalls both times we went there were no towels Not super clean, but it was very very crowded. You have to walk through the lobby of the hotel in your bathing suit to get to the pool we were in tower 2 the pool is near Tower 1, odd design. The food at the casino is not as overpriced as some casino just moderately priced. It was decent food. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a nice one time trip. We come here every year to celebrate birthdays. We come on Sunday to utilize our free room offer. You have to call right when you get your offer because they only have a limited number of rooms for those offers. This year we got a suite in the new tower of rooms. It was truly and excellent room and I wish we could stay an extra day. The ala carte menu was on an easy-to-use sanitized iPad for this computer challenged gambler. Not many eating venues since the Covid hit. I am really surprised! The buffet is permanently closed so I chose this cafe. The hamburger was medium, juicy and so flavorful. I added nothing to it and I was far better then any fast food burger. I came here for a class reunion. I got a room and decided to get a room and spend the night. The rooms were a nice size and quiet. It had a coffee maker, fridge, iron and safe. The bathroom was also large. The banquet hall was good. Good food and a nice dance floor. I decided to walk through the casino to get something to eat late in the evening. The only spot was on the other side. Wait....no smoke? Yes! This was the no smoking area. What a plus and what a relief. I picked up some wings and fries at the 24 hour spot.
