However - this inspection was $140, and this shop wasn't able to help me fix several of the "fails", meaning I had to reach out to yet ANOTHER shop (the Ford dealership) and get it sorted. Found out the Ford dealership (and several other shops in the area) do these same state car inspections for under $100... $85 at Ford to be precise, sponsored by the Maryland State Police. So I'm blown away on how much I spent for a car inspection at a place that couldn't even fix the repairs I needed. With THAT huge of a price gouge, I feel a bit scammed.

The auto shop told me my oil was beyond old. I called and complained to manager at Lusby Valvoline. He was very nice but told me he had video footage that my oil was changed. I believe they changed my oil but put old oil in my car because how do I go from Valvoline with new oil straight to auto shop less than 20 miles away and my oil was black as the midnight sky. I payed 109 dollars just to pay the auto shop I dropped my car off at to change the oil again. I will never be back to a Valvoline again. I have had nothing but bad experiences. I'd rather wait at a auto shop for 8+ hours to get my oil changed then take it this Valvoline ever again because I cannot trust they did what they were supposed to do.

I selected my oil type and they got to work. They also checked some things over like the lights, fluids, and tire pressure. They made a few recommendations without putting the annoying hard sell on. Another 15 minutes later and we were good to go. It was nice to stay in the car the whole time and my daughter was happy as a clam with her bottle and toys in the back seat. I used a $12 off coupon I found on their website and have since noticed that Val-Pack has a $14 off and there is also a 15% off coupon for checking in on Yelp. I was emailed a $15 off coupon after the service which I'll pass along to my husband. I'll be back again for sure!

So I drove on it and put air in every time I stopped for gas. When I finally got to my destination I was able to remove the wheel and find the screw. I plugged it myself and moved on. My daughter goes to school at St. Mary's and was on her way home for spring break when her Jeep…read morekept turning off while driving. I called multiple places near where she was at in Lexington Park with no mechanics willing to look at her jeep at noon on a Friday. However, called AAMCO and spoke with Scott who was willing to get her in ASAP. My daughter then drove over there, and to his word he immediately got her Jeep in. After meeting Scott, my daughter immediately texted me, saying how nice everybody was there to her. It ended up being some dirty battery terminals which they cleaned up, put back on tight and sent her on her way! To top it off, they didn't charge her a thing!
