Had a screw in my tire when I stopped there. I couldn't find it and needed to head South for a week. The fellas who worked there said that they removed my wheel and couldn't find the issue. So I drove on it and put air in every time I stopped for gas. When I finally got to my destination I was able to remove the wheel and find the screw. I plugged it myself and moved on. Maybe the techs there need better training or something. I don't think they really removed the wheel. I frequent Mr tire for everything to include oil changes when I don't have the time. Called on a Monday to get a quote on 4 tires. Spoke to someone, a guy, who gave me a quote. He said they only had one of them in stock, but he could get them in a day or two. I said fine, I'll go online and make an appt for Friday. The guy said no worries he could set up the appt. So we set it for 800am on Friday morning. Thursday afternoon I called to confirm the appt. Stay away from this business. An absolute clown show. Dropped off a brand new tire before noon for warranty replacement. Had a Goodyear reference number for inspection/replacement to include a toll free number for service center questions. Returned before closing on same day, no one touched it. Didn't even break the tire's bead to inspect the sidewall. The manager was out, so I said I would return the next morning. The next morning the tire remained in the same place. I asked why and the gentleman had no answer. I asked if he would inspect, said he doesn't know how to work the tire machine. And on and on and on... Nothing but finger pointing at their fellow employees, misdirection in excuses, and outright lack of customer service. TJ, the manager, needs to get his employees $hit pulled together. Took truck in for tire balancing, alignment and to replace the serpentine belt. The truck still has a bit of shake and the alignment seems to be correct, but the serpentine belt literally exploded after less than 200 miles later. I replaced the belt myself and returned with the belt remains in a bag. I have been a mechanic for over 40 years, and had them replace the belt due to a shoulder injury, the belt was due for replacement, and they had the truck. They refused to even reimburse me for the belt. Serpentine belts fail for generally 3 reasons: 1: Defective belt- very rare- but should be warranted. 2: failing tensioner or bad pullye/idler- common problem, but I checked them all when I installed new belt- all good- and they should have done the same. 3: Improper installation- very common- it's not easy to see anything when installing a belt on my particular vehicle and very easy to get one rib of the belt off the side of a pulley- most likely what happened, and warrantable. Fortunately when the belt disintegrated it didn't wreck anything else on the front of the engine, I didn't need to get towed anywhere- it failed right in my driveway, but did take over an hour of cutting and digging belt remains from all the pulleys, and had to do the job with an injured shoulder. So, Mr Tire in California MD just lost a customer over a lousy $125, but even worse would take no responsibility for the failure. Just a really, really, stupid way to do business. Im giving a 4 star because on inspection they noticed a cracked fog light which they replaced for $40 after I bought the part elsewhere. Management needs to work on having enough staff and possibly greeting customers. BUT Mr.Tire needs to look at whoever they buy there parts from because they wanted $450 for a fog light. PLEASE. Went in this morning to get my brakes replaced after making an appointment. There was no appointment scheduled. But was told it would take 35-40 minutes so I was happy. Went to Starbucks to make a call and came back around 45 minutes later and as soon as I got there, they called me to tell me lot more work has to be done. That's fine but at least call me a lot earlier, right? And I'm not a confrontational person, but after the third time with passive aggressive comments and being so short with me, I commented how rude and short one of the guys working there was. I'm not dumb. I know when someone speaks down to someone. He claims he's just being direct, but regardless, they need to take some classes on customer service for sure. I've definitely held my tongue long enough and also been patient with them for far too long. Not sure how I managed for so long here. I realize even more through these experiences how important customer service is. Being a recipient of poor service truly is hurtful, stressful, and sometimes downright infuriating especially for non-confrontational people who just hold it all in. I understand people can have bad days but if its done repeatedly then employees or businesses need to be in check. read more

So I know people always give auto repair centers - especially tire places - a hard time in reviews but I have had nothing but positive experiences at this location. The staff has always been courteous, informative, and not pushy even when recommending additional services, and my wait time has almost always been reasonable. I've swung in here in icy inclement weather when low tire pressure lights have come on, and have made appointments online for easy stuff like oil changes and I would happily go back. For more complicated services I'm not sure but I'm inclined to give them a shot with some upcoming brake service. Thanks, guys! read more

The name of your business has the word "tire" in it. Why, then, do you not understand the basics of caster, camber, and toe? Brought a newer Honda there and had new tires put on it. Asked for a 4-wheel alignment. Within 4 hours of picking up the car, I noticed that the overall ride was MUCH different--lots and lots of torque steer that was not present before. A month later, I took it to a Honda dealership and they informed me that ALL specs (caster, camber, and toe) were ALL off by -3MM or more. UNREAL. So, when you take your car to them for alignment services, forget about expecting Mr. Tire to reference an OEM manual. Keep in mind, this can be especially costly and even dangerous if you have a 4-wheel drive car. How about taking the time and putting in the effort to ensure the quality of your work? This place is a joke. Left my company vehicle here for over a week while I was on vacation to get brakes rotors and tires put on. Came back to nothing done. They blamed it on that work didn't get approved by the fleet company that pays for it. My manager said he didn't get an email about it so they couldn't have sent it in for approval. Then it magically gets approved a day or two after I pick it up and I set another appointment. I call around 3:30 to check the status and they told me it didn't get done because one person called out... so you mean to tell me only one person can do brakes rotors and tires at this shop? But other customers can get work done to their vehicles. Also not even call me to let me know the work isn't getting done. After I keep wasting my time and others to drop the vehicle off. Didn't get an apology or even asked to set up another appointment when I came to get the keys. They just didn't want to do the job because I'm a fleet customer or just lazy. Spent 3-1/2 hours not getting my flat tire fixed on March 10. I did hear a lot of complaining customers - appointments mean nothing, explained. And I listed to the manager whine at some length to his unhappy boss about some skapegoat employee. Big production over giving people discounts and acting like they were getting something special. Whatever - do it and charge the price, or say you can't. Spare us the irritation of listening to that blowhard for half the day. Guy first told me variations of soon, won't be long, and other non-numeric time estimates. When I pressed (so I could let the friend keeping an eye on the kids know), he said 30-45 minutes as I was 3rd in line. After 1-1/2 hours (when far more than 3 cars had been addressed), he made up another time estimate. Then he said they were pulling my car in "right now," which still hadn't been done 20 minutes later. I got my keys back and THEN they sent a tech over as I reinflated the flat-again tire that was resting on the rim by that point. I get it, it's Sunday. Not my idea to blow out the tire on my only day off. I would have left the car had I known it was an all-day repair. It's just not that hard folks: Tires Plus across the street had me on the way in 30 minutes. No drama. read more

Had some kind of leak. Called for an appointment to check that out and get a oil change and tire rotation. They got my in the same day, fixed my leak, and had my car back to me within a couple hours. I forgot I had free lifetime tire rotations because I'd bought my tires there, and they were great about refunding me when I went back in with my receipts. read more

I was traveling through Maryland pulling a trailer and needed an oil change. I stopped in to Mr. tire and asked for oil and tire rotation. They said the rotation is part of the oil service. When i picked up the vehicle several hours later, i noticed not a single mark in my fairly dirty rims ( I was pulling a trailer 400 miles without a wash) which indicated they did not rotate the tires as requested. I questioned the person at the desk, he claimed he saw the vehicle with the tires off. I said no way, and touched the rim and the loose dust left a mark without effort. He said he would double check with the mechanic and came back and said they definitely rotated them. I knew they had not but it was my word against theirs. I also inflate the rears 2 lbs higher when pulling a trailer and the rears were still at +2lbs. On my way home 1 week later, I had a flat. When i went to change the flat, i could not remove the rim as it had stuck to the wheel hub. If they had rotated, this would not have happened in 1 week. No way would it corrode to this point in a week. I also understand that this was likely stuck when i brought it in so it would have made rotation difficult. However it would have been much easier than trying to remove it on a highway in traffic without the proper tools to break it free. read more

Omgoodness. Came here more than 2 hours ago for an oil change. It took forever and even after all that time, it's still not changed. Staff are courteous. But their service is slow. I used to go here faithfully for an oil change (I don't trust anyone else but Hill's Auto Repair in Bushwood to do any major work on my vehicles) and this place has been a disappointment the last two visits. Both times I didn't get an oil change sticker in my window. First time it was because they forgot and forgot to reset the maintenance light. Recently I didn't get a sticker because they forgot to write down the mileage. Also I had booked an appointment online and called to confirm 30 mins prior - they had no appointment in the system for me. I let that go because things happen. Then I asked what the price with my coupon and was told $55. When I got there I spent $70 with a coupon. I called afterwards to talk to the manager and she apologized but these are easy things in my opinion that any business should be able to do. My online appointment didn't show up, I didn't get a maintenance sticker because they forgot to write down mileage and I was given the wrong price estimate over the phone. This has been the only place I take my car to. The staff is so kind and helpful with a wealth of knowledge. They have never over charged me and always have great deals for all services. I have never had to make an appointment and yet they always fit me in, because of that I would have to wait a while, but it's better then them asking me to come in another day or keeping my car overnight, they always complete the job within that day. I went to this establishment yesterday to request a repair on a slow leak on my front right tire. After the technician observed the tire, "I was told that the tire was beyond repair because of the location of the nail on the side of the tire". I took the tire to the Zip Tires where my tires where original replaced. Needless to say, they were able to repair the tire and they showed me the location of the nail on the tire. Went to mr tire in California md. Today to get my brake fluid flushed and replaced on my 2011 corolla which was highly recommended by my previous mechanic to be done. They took my car in 1/2 hr before my app and the mechanic came to the waiting room and told me my brake fluid is fine and doesn't need to be flushed and has plenty of life left. They saved me $120 . I definitely will be going back for other work in the future. It's hard to find a good mechanic and an honest shop to deal with. read more

We had an appointment today at Mr. Tire in Granite Falls, NC today. Our appointment was at 1330 and we showed up a few minutes early. We were only doing an oil change today, but as they say, "you only have one chance to make a first impression," and our first one was not good. After waiting until 1400 and our car was still sitting where we left it, we decided to leave. I'm not sure when they would have gotten to our car, but one representative stated they only had one person working this issue, so I asked why didn't they tell us that up front if that was the case. Not sure how long they expected us to wait, but we were very disappointed and left...and do not believe we will ever take our two cars there again. My car wouldn't start, I was 2 hours from home and I decided to trust Mr. Tire to check the car out and fix whatever was needed. They charged me for an electrical system check and a starter (that would have been half the price if I'd been able to get one myself). Within 4 days after I was back home, the car wouldn't start again. I had it towed to the local Mr. Tire that said they had to put another starter in. When I asked if I could see the one that was taken out they said they had to send it back to the mfg (it had been less than an hour). So I don't know if they really put a new one in or not. I don't feel I can trust Mr. Tire to do much more than tires. read more
