Also was able to make an appt online for an earlier date and time so I guess they like to mislead customers in person. I had an appointment to go in at 4 today for wheel alignment. they tried to charge me $600 for a wheel alignment. they were trying to put that lifetime warranty on and they were trying to charge $80 for parking sensor. I don't even have sensors so I asked if I needed the parking sensors to get a wheel alignment and the guy said yes I need it. do not go here unless you want to get charged for a bunch of bullshit. read more

I made an appointment at 11:00 am for an oil change. It is currently 3:05 pm and my truck is still in the garage. Jeremy at the front desk made a lame excuse that "he had just gotten here when we did" so didn't know why it was taking so long. He was the one that checked us in at 10:57 so I'm calling BS on that. The manager came out and again made excuses that his regional manager was there and it's taken some focus away from the work being done. Again, calling shenanigans on that lame excuse. Took my 2005 Volkswagen TDI Diesel in to get serviced, at first all was great but when things went wrong they said they could not work on a diesel engine. Why did they not tell me that first. They also wanted to charge me way to much for the service that they claimed they did. My advice is to not do business with this company. read more

I had a check engine light for an undefined misfire. I'm not sure why, but this happens almost every time it rains heavy. The engine will be slow to start, and misfire for the first 30 seconds it's running. After that, the engine runs fine forever and ever, until it rains heavy again. But... that check engine light is stuck on now.... My local Firestone in Omaha has previously replaced top and bottom plugs (there are two per cylinder), when the check light indicated my #5 cylinder in particular. Their advice going forward was to check the code, and if it presented a specific cylinder, or ran poorly after the initial rain start... to have it serviced. Otherwise, to reset the code and wait for something specific. Took my truck to the Casa Grande Firestone and the technician advised that they'd have to charge me a $110 diagnostics fee for looking at and resetting the codes. My response was to leave, and order an OBDII reading off of Amazon for $16.00, read and reset the codes. The cost to me? $16.00. The cost to Firestone? ~$1000 annually for what I spend for my truck, and camper, and car in tires and other service. I understand that your techs time costs money. I'd have been fine with something reasonable for the cost of the tool, and the technicians time. $10-15 seems reasonable. You don't need special technical training to read the codes, or to reset them. So the $110 diagnostics fee seemed hugely excessive, and unfriendly. read more

Really frustrated. I brought my SUV in with 4 specific complaints. After a look over I needed a lot of other work. $5000 worth of repairs and I bought 4 new tires and opened their credit card. Turns out 2 of my 4 initial complaints were not even fixed, which were a new windshield wiper fluid tank and a blown headlight. I was told they neglected to fix those 2 things but could do them now. Of course the main expense would be labor, but the labor costs would have been less when fixing all the other things. Customer service is absolutely awful. I made an appoint for my 2004 Grand Margue at 2pm 3.16.26, to replace all 4 tires. I was there on time. I dropped it off. When I returned at 4pm my car was just getting put into the bay and the hood was up. I asked their worker why my hood was up? He stated because we are doing a complementary courtesy check. I stated I did not ask for that. The worker stated again in was complementary. I told him, I brought my car at my scheduled appointment, why is it not ready? He talked in circles and never answered my question. Some story about you made the appointment but sometimes we have to do other customers vehicles that come in and we have to care of them first. Sounded like a bunch of BS. At 4:30pm, I asked the worker when they are going to be done. The worker stated I don't know. I asked him to find out. He came back with they can't find the key to unlock the tires. I asked what lock. He stated there is a lock on the tires and if we can't unlock it then we can't take the tires off. He started talking in circles again and never answered my question. Also stating he is the middleman and he has no control over what's going on. I stated I have had this car for many years and have purchased tires for it before and not one person or company used that as an excuse for why my car just sitting there with no one working on it. At approximately 4:50pm I asked for the manager. The worker sent me the tech manger. He apologized for the delay and asked to give him 15 min. My car was finally done at 5:50pm. read more

Took my 2017 ram into Firestone for its regular oil, change and tire, balance, and rotation on 6/8/2025. I was told during the inspection they found I needed to replace my rack and pinion that it was leaking, along with two lower ball joints. They continue to even show me pictures of a wet boot, which was supposedly my trucks. They quoted me close to $6000 for these repairs. I told him that it was not in the budget and it was not going to happen this month. Took it to a very reputable shop here in Casa grande for a 2nd opinion and they informed me that the shop I took my truck to 1st had lied, that my rack and pinion is not leaking, in fact it's ELECTRIC!!! Oh and also that my front end is tight and there is nothing wrong with it..... This is my third and final dealing with Firestone, First a Firestone in Chandler breaks my side passenger mirror during service, which they did replace, and then the other store in Chandler replaced my left front ball joint, I actually had to turn around and took my truck back because my front end was knocking when turning left after their repair ... I AM DONE! Thinking you can TRY and take advantage of a woman?! You guys are nothing but a bunch of crooks .. I will be paying off my credit card and closing my account.. Don't go. They have caused me problems twice. The first problem was when I got my oil changed and they pinched the O ring on the filter. It leaked out the oil. The oil light came on and I took it to a close by shop. They showed me the O ring, you could see it was pinched. Lucky, I didn't blow my engine. Then I tried them again recently because I bought my tires there and needed them balanced, I decided to try them again. Got an oil change while I was there. As soon as I left my cruise was not working. I asked them if it could have happened when I had the oil changed and was told no. Scheduled a time to have my tires done. When I went to the shop, I was told I'll have to leave my van for 4 hours because the "tire tech" wasn't in and I would not have my tires done until that person came into work. Spoke to a supervisor today (days later) who wanted to speak with me about my last visit, only to confirm that in the entire complete auto repair shop there is only two people there who knows how replace tires. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. Do not go here. Super incompetent. They lost the security key to my locks for my wheels, so I ended up having to have it towed back to firestone to get them cut off. They up sold me on some super rare tire that there's only one left in the state. so I couldn't match them when I went to buy more tires. When the tire started leaking. I made an appointment at 9am to have it replaced. I Had to downgrade my tire. Been waiting 2 1/2 hours and they started taking off the wrong tire. (See picture). The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they couldn't get to it the morning after it was dropped off. But the staff was very polite and inviting. I'd recently had a shop work on the front end of my truck. So I took it here to have it aligned. The work the other shop did on my front end wasn't done right so they were unable to get the alignment within specs so there was no charge. My truck is now back at the first shop getting fixed properly. But I will bring my truck back to this location to check the alignment again. read more

Sometimes the store will be nice enough to give it to you and sometimes you have to mention and show the coupon to receive the discount. It depends on who is working. I took my car to get a new battery. I started having problems with my car going totally dead and not starting. Firestone said they couldn't fix the problem because they couldn't find it. I had to take my car to the Hyundai dealer and they said the battery cables did not fit the battery terminals correctly and they fixed it. It fixed the problem for a few months and then it started happening again. I took it to Big O tires and in less than 15 minutes they showed me the problem. The shims on the battery to tight the cables had fixed part of the problem, but the chuck that holds the battery to the plate so the battery doesn't move was missing. That had to be done at Firestone because the dealer never removed the battery. The movement loosened the connection over time. Firestone screwed the work up twice and has caused me over a year of dealing with a problem that should never had occurred. No way I am trusting them with my car again if they can't even replace a battery correctly. This was in Casa Grande AZ. read more
