I live on the coast and was in Central Point for a week because of a family member's illness. The weather in Central Point was snowy and icy while I was there, and the weather I was driving back to on the coast was windy and rainy. My nerves were already shot after a scary, worrisome week (that thankfully ended well!) and I just wanted some safety reassurance, so I stopped by Firestone to ask if they'd take a look at the pressure in my tires before I made the drive back home; I had super precious doggie cargo in the car after all! The Firestone staff told me to pull right up to the garage, came out and checked my tires, added some air, and that was that. They didn't charge me a cent. It was such a kind gesture, and the service put my mind at ease before the long drive home. I found the folks at Firestone on Table Rock Road to be good people. Take your vehicle there! read more

Right before closing, two employees at Firestone went above and beyond to help us, and I truly can't say enough good things about the experience. Even though it was the end of their shift, they were patient, kind, and never made us feel rushed. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of, and showed genuine care and professionalism throughout the entire process. It's rare to receive that level of service these days--especially right before closing--but they exceeded every expectation. Because of their dedication, attitude, and willingness to help, they turned what could have been a stressful situation into a great experience. Firestone is lucky to have employees like them, and they absolutely deserve recognition. We will definitely be back and will recommend this location to others. read more

"WARNING" April 4th 2025 I had a tune-up done on my Dodge spark plugs, radiator hoses, brakes Etc. My family has been a long time customer of Firestone since the early 70s in Medford it was under the name Expert Tires. Jerry their lead mechanic has done all the work on our vehicles for close to 30 years. Expert Tires was more like a family-oriented environment back then not a push to sell service, but more like what is your vehicle's needs we are here to help you. There have been many changes throughout the years especially under this new manager Art. Unbeknownst to me they put aftermarket parts in my car which were defective the radiator hoses where the clamps were applied were not tight enough or the hoses were just defective and could not handle the pressure of the radiator fluid my Dodge begin to overheat because there was no radiator fluid the car began to smoke while driving almost look like it was on fire Jerry the mechanic told me to have the car towed to their shop. To make a long story short, I went through this issue for a year no matter how many times they tighten the clamps it just kept leaking subsequently my car very quickly began having multiple issues like my thermostat went out lack of power to the engine noises Etc Jason the assistant manager was there with Jerry when I went to the shop again because of the leaking and the check engine light came on Jason said he would have to get a hold of Art the manager first in order to do anything about the thermostat. I was standing right there when they called Art and told him what was happening but Art told Jason not to do anything on my car unless he is present to approve it. I was treated so badly after years of service there I heard Jason saying we need to put the thermostat in because he believed this was caused to the car overheating There was a gentleman in the shop that day he said if I was you I would get rid of the vehicle he said when your car subsequently overheats like yours did you could potentially have damage to the Pistons and other areas of the engine. He also mentioned that I should have the oil changed that the oil was probably burnt from the overheating I have been in that shop 30+ times in a year's time with audio and video showing the car leaking from the hoses never once did they offer to replace them! Also my car began to have a knocking sound from my AC compressor which was also damaged and is also indicative of when a car overheats such as mine did. Firestone has done all required maintenance no record whatsoever on all of my invoices saying there was ever any issues with my car such as I'm having now. Chris Firestone regional manager after breaking down and crying to him said we are not your only recourse I will pay for you to go somewhere else to have the car looked over but I believe they offered that because once you go to another auto mechanic shop that doesn't know your vehicle they cannot prove or say one way or another that what happened to my car subsequently began to fail with other components in my car because of the car overheating. Needless to say my car ran beautifully and was the top of the line Citadel I was told after I went to the auto lab shop in Medford that Firestone is my witness that there was no issues with my car beforehand After my car was looked at at Auto lab and they said they could not prove one way or another the issues my car is now having were caused from the overheating Seth Byrd from "firestones Insurance adjuster" sent me a email saying they weren't going to pay to have anything fixed on my vehicle that they would agree to give me back the $2,100 only because of the time I was dealing with the leaking issues needless to say I never asked for that money back , the corporate insurance adjuster never even called me to address what happened to my vehicle They wanted me to sign a waiver stating that what happen to my vehicle subsequently after the car overheated had nothing to do with what work they did to my vehicle. No apologies, no nothing! Our family has been going to Firestone here in the valley for 48 years we have brought much business to them throughout the years. They were all once considered like family to my family John the head manager at expertires always came up and gave us a hug and shared laughs when we came to do service on our vehicles! When I called Art the following day after my thermostat went out he told me on the phone that he just found out about it that morning, wow I said you're lying I was standing right there when Jason and Jerry called you he said no I just found out about it I said Art why would you lie over something so small as that, what is the significance in that? Jason ended up quitting Firestone because of Art. Needless to say the business I once thought was a place I could trust for my vehicle needs, I will never return! read more

My husband was told over the phone that his tire patch would take 30 minutes to an hour. He showed up early and parked his truck, and it sat there untouched the entire time. A guy walked in for a 2:30 appointment, and the front desk told him it would be a few hours. Cars were finishing, so my husband assumed he was next. Instead, he watched the tech walk straight out to the 2:30 customer's car and get in it, completely ignoring his truck that had been sitting there first. My husband went to the counter and asked if he would still be out by 3, like he was told. The employee just shook his head no, with no explanation or apology. At that point he told them to get his keys and left. They wasted his entire afternoon after promising a one-hour wait. If they had been honest on the phone, he never would have gone there in the first place. We will take our business somewhere else where appointments and people's time actually matter. read more

Two stars because they are 50/50 at best! Terrible scheduling and even worse communication! Been here a few times now and it is steadily getting worse. I have always gone to Firestone when I lived in Texas and they were great. Every other location I have been to is becoming a dumpster fire. They try every chance they get to up-sale you to the point of even making you wait HOURS longer in hope you just agree so you can leave. Don't bother making an appointment as it does you NO GOOD. Firestone isn't worth the time it takes anymore. A simple 1hr appointment has turned into 3+ hours and hundreds more $$$ Do yourself a favor and find a good local mechanic!! read more

Awful customer service and greedy franchise. I noticed a nail in one of my tires and figured I'd call Firestone as they are within a mile from my work. They scheduled me for a 2PM appointment and assured me it was a 30-60 minute maximum appt time. I didn't think I would have to explain to them that this was going to be during my lunch break- especially when I was asking so many questions about the time it would take. So I arrive and drop my keys, talk to the tech about the location, and we go look at the nail. He says ok well let you know when it's done. At 2:30 someone walks in for their alignment appointment, and they were told it was going to be a few hours. My ears perked up, but a few cars were being pulled out of the garage so I figured I was up next. At 2:40 I notice they are pulling in the 2:30 alignment guy. I head up to ask if I'm still going to be done by 3. He just looks down and shakes his head. No explanation, no sorry. So I said get my keys, and left. He still didn't apologize or offer a new appt (as if they actually hold it for you). My girl goes to nail salons that hold an appointment better than this and they deal with hundreds of walk-ins. Be better! Although I don't care if you do because I will never give my business here again. They don't care about your time, your appointment, or anything but your money. Go elsewhere! Sure hope my tire makes it to the next shop or I'll know who to blame! read more

I've been taking my vehicles to Firestone for over a decade. I've lived in over 6 different cities in the past decade, so it makes sense to take my vehicle to a mechanic that is nationwide. As with any nationwide, franchise company, I've had my good and bad experiences with Firestone as a whole. In regards to this particular location, they are awesome! I was recently in Texas for work and went to a Firestone in Lockhart. They replaced a belt tensioner a day before I drove back to Oregon. I've been home for 4 days and noticed that my belt was about to fall off. Took it in today and they diagnosed it as bad work on the other Firestones part. Had it replaced at no charge and was on the road quickly. This location will always have by business. read more

Two parts to this review. I have been going to Firestone Complete for years. They have always been professional and always call me mid-service to give me an update and let me know what my car needs (if something more than what I brought it in for). Today, I dropped my car off at 8 a.m. (thinking it would be there for multiple hours, as that's how long it usually takes for a complete inspection, tire rotation and oil change). I got a call at 9 a.m. saying it was ready. I was a bit surprised. When I got to their location, there were three things that were fairly important that they suggested be done. I asked why they didn't call me so I could have everything done at once, and the store manager (very gruffly) said "these things aren't really that urgent" (Steve Brummett - zero stars). Then walked off into his office. #shocked The manager of vehicle services (Art Torres - five stars) walked me through the suggested repairs, gave me a future discount THEN told me about a sale that would be going on the upcoming week. He was kind, attentive and I got the sense that he truly cared about my vehicle and about me. I'm giving this encounter three stars as an average given the absolute lack of customer service by the store manager, but the stellar service by Mr. Torres. Someone deserves a promotion. read more
