I had a tire that kept losing pressure. I first took it to Big O Tires, where the staff found a hole in the tire and they told me they sealed it. After Big O returned the car to me, the tire was severely underinflated, so I filled it myself. The next day, the tire lost pressure again. I took it to Firestone for a second opinion where Hans took a look at the tire for me. He found no hole in the tire and also no sealant where Big O claimed they sealed it. Hans then took the tire off and put it in the dunk tank to find out where the leak was coming from and found no leak. I was discouraged but I thanked him and drove to Walmart to buy a $300 Continental tire (to match my other ones) to replace it since the tire was inexplicably losing pressure. Sure enough, 24 hours later and the tire was no longer losing pressure. I'm not sure what kind of magic Hans worked by taking the tire off and submerging it before putting it back on, but the whole experience cost me $0 after I was able to cancel my Walmart order. Kudos to Hans for helping me out when Big O did not and taking time out of his busy day to solve a problem that seemed impossible to fix. read more

My car started sputtering and the engine and other lights came on the dash. I was right by the Firestone so I thought , great! They can put the tool on it that reads error codes. Walked in the lobby and no one greeted me. I saw a guy sitting in the garage area on his phone so I tapped on the window. Long story short, he said no he couldn't do it because he's booked out a week, so busy and he's stressed, I said that it only takes a minute.. he headed to my car and said he was going to look at the engine. Umm.. I don't want that, I want to see what code it's reading. Weird he had enough time to want to look under the hood but not put on the diagnostic tool? I won't be returning! read more

The manager told me that the State of Missouri required a State Inspection of my vehicle for renewal of the tags. When I told him that wasn't required by the State as my vehicle was only 1 year old and the state only requires inspection of vehicles over 10 years of age or over 150k miles, then he tried to tell me that I needed a Missouri Identification Number/Odometer Reading Inspection (ID/OD) and that the price was the same as an inspection and if I didn't get it, I would not be able to renew my license plates. When I declined it as it is not required by Missouri, he then continued to pressure me saying that I would have to make an appointment when I realized I needed it and it was better to get it now and not have to wait. When I renewed my license plates, the State told me that an ID/OD is not required unless you are registering a newer vehicle from out of state. I feel this was a scam and he did sell this to others with the same scam tactic. Additionally, the prices are not listed anywhere and options and prices were not disclosed in advance and I felt he wouldn't have disclosed them had I not demanded to see the work order as he had me sign it electronically but never showed it to me of his own accord. The prices were significantly higher than other competitors by approximately $30, and this was after using the $15 coupon. I will never return to this store for service. read more

Showed up for my appointment early. Was told it would be a 3 to 4 hour wait. I live 40 minutes away. They should have called me and told me, could have saved time and gas. I cancelled this appointment and will go elsewhere for my car needs. read more

Would NOT recommend this place. If you want to be treated like they actually care for you as a customer, a human. This is not the place. Took my car in for a slow leak (bought tires here, mind you) Nathan did not even look at the tire for the cause of the leak. Instead he tried to sell new tire "Prorated" so he was giving a "GREAT" deal. In this mind he was doing us a favor. Took car to another Firestone and the found a nail & patched it up. They also pointed out the tread wear was a concern. However, they did fix it and gave us respect! I questioned, why after only 2 years they would need to be replaced? And there were signs of rubber rot. Their explanation, "its a cheap tire!"??? We did regular rotations, kept air pressure at recommended level! Took it back in to this location because of a road hazzard issue. Nathan looked up the account and flat out told me, "I am NOT working on your car!" His excuse, "Because you (me) said I was trying to rip you off." On the slow leak he did not even look at the tire in question. Store manager is not any better! And another thing, as we arrived, in saw a traveler from another city driving away with a low tire on his trailer. I flagged him down to let him know. He said they told him to go somewhere else?!?!!! Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT TRUST THEM. You will be taken advantage of especially if you are a woman. Those courtesy checks are not very courteous especially when safety concerns are overlooked. If you bring up a concern you will pay for it either in actual money or their unprofessional actions. read more

I had an appointment for an oil change. I had a coupon for a standard oil change and was told by the manager that they did not need to see it. The oil change took them an hour and a half. When they finally finished, I was told they put synthetic oil in that I did not ask for and was told "only an idiot would put conventional oil in a ford". Made 8 am appointment and requested car be ready by late morning. Vehicle not taken back to bay until after 3 pm and not finished until 5:30. Absolutely zero communication from installer during the process. I had to call twice. First time at 3 pm and told it was in the bay and promised they would call when finished. Still hadn't heard anything by 5 pm and called back and told it was finished...NINE HOURS after I dropped it off. This is to install 4 tires. Nothing more. Plus they left bead lubricant all over the tires and didn't wipe it off. I assume they are understaffed, and can accept unforeseen delays, but communication is key and there was none to speak of. read more

I'd give it zero stars like others stated if I could. Should have read reviews before going there. Workers are hateful and love to argue. They take a week to look at your car after saying they'd get to it in two days. Then give you insane quotes. Rip off place with bad prices and even worse customer service. *finally got my vehicle fixed what firestone was charging $900 for big o tire did for 300! That is insane. read more

Thank you to the team at the Conley Road Firestone in Columbia, Mo. I was traveling in the area and my car overheated. I called this shop and they said they'd could look at my car if I was able to get in. Had my car towers and ended up needing a new radiator. I live a 100 miles's away and not only were they able to diagnose the problem, but get it repaired and back on the road within a few hours.
