While waiting, I observed that they were taking significantly longer to work on women's cars than men's.... I just so happen to be a young woman myself, so makes sense why my car was taking so long. Instead of coming up to me and explaining what is wrong with my car, they sent me a text of the diagnostic. They had taken unnecessary pictures of my car and basically had done a full inspection, instead of just checking out the rear end like how I asked them to. Whenever I read this diagnostic, I knew they were full of shit and none of this could be true, so I go to the cash register to pay and get out of that place. They charged me $220 to just look at my car, not even to fix it. So already, they have wasted three hours of my time, when a diagnostic should be one hour max, and now they are charging me a lot of money because they ran up my bill. Then, once I get out I go to my car I noticed that the mechanics had left my seats with oil and grease all over them for me to clean up myself... Horrible customer service. Fast forward, I went to a real mechanic and showed him the diagnostic Dobbs sent me. Dobbs had said both of my CV drive axels would have to be replaced. He took a look under my car and said my axels are in perfect condition... So, who know's what Dobbs would have done if I actually paid $2000+ to have them fix my "broken CV drive axels." Chances are, they probably wouldn't have even changed them and took my money and went on with their day. The problem with my car is there was no grease in my rear differential, which I think its insane dobbs would even send someone on the road with a car with that. Anyways, the real mechanic diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. He also didn't charge anywhere close to what Dobb's was trying to charge me.

I had a tire that kept losing pressure. I first took it to Big O Tires, where the staff found a…read morehole in the tire and they told me they sealed it. After Big O returned the car to me, the tire was severely underinflated, so I filled it myself. The next day, the tire lost pressure again. I took it to Firestone for a second opinion where Hans took a look at the tire for me. He found no hole in the tire and also no sealant where Big O claimed they sealed it. Hans then took the tire off and put it in the dunk tank to find out where the leak was coming from and found no leak. I was discouraged but I thanked him and drove to Walmart to buy a $300 Continental tire (to match my other ones) to replace it since the tire was inexplicably losing pressure. Sure enough, 24 hours later and the tire was no longer losing pressure. I'm not sure what kind of magic Hans worked by taking the tire off and submerging it before putting it back on, but the whole experience cost me $0 after I was able to cancel my Walmart order. Kudos to Hans for helping me out when Big O did not and taking time out of his busy day to solve a problem that seemed impossible to fix.
