This event happened 8/6/23. The service manager, Cynthia Roberts, is a very wonderful person for Firestone. I was leaving Charleston, South Carolina after an internship and had a flat tire. It was a Sunday so most tire shops were closed. I called this location and they luckily had a few in stock. I was about 30 minutes away when I checked if they had my tire size in stock. Rain was pouring when I arrived with my parents in the car. Cynthia was so nice to lend me an umbrella. I was able to walk my much older parents to the store without them getting wet. Cynthia was able to get my vehicle fixed within an hour. We were able to make the rest of our drive home following after. God bless her, she's a kind lady and a real vibe. If I could give negative stars, I would. I contacted Firestone on the morning of Friday, 8/18/2023 and asked the price for getting new front and rear brakes and rotors for my Lexus. I was given a quote of 600+ dollars by Cynthia who answered the phone. She advised me that If I brought my car in immediately, she could get me in because they had availability. I immediately drove my car to the shop. Upon parking, two male workers were headed to the parking lock to get the car I was parked next to for servicing. One of the guys asked what I needed and I stated brakes and rotors for my front and rear brakes. He asked me how I knew I needed both front and rear and I stated that my husband had told me I needed both. He said, "Where is he?" I said, "He's out making that money so I can get both done." He advised me to come inside and he would help me. I went inside and the same guy proceeded to start my workorder. When he started to give me quotes, I ask him if it were okay for me to contact my husband so he could hear the information being quoted. He said, "Sure." We stated we needed new brakes, new rotors and a flush. He quoted the same $600+ dollars as Cynthia. I spent the entire day waiting for my car (11:30 AM to after 5 PM). When my car was inspected, it was confirmed that I needed new brakes, rotors, a new front driver tire, shocks, amongst other things. The quote I was given was much higher than I expected. My husband and I both heard $600+ dollars for my brakes/rotors, only to be told when it was time for the work to be done that the $600 only took care of the front brakes. I reminded Cynthia that she quoted me the $600+ dollars and she proceeded to tell me that she asked me if I needed front or rear. She claimed I said front. I have been calling around getting quotes for brake service for over a month and I've always asked for a quote for both front and rear. So, to be told that the $600+ dollars was for front only was very disturbing to me because a shop near by had given me a similar quote for both front and rear. I only chose Firestone because I was quoted the same price and I knew I would be able to put the service on my Firestone card. I feel like I was grossly misled and quite frankly ripped off. Especially since I could have gotten both my front and rear brakes/rotors replaced at another shop for $600+ dollars. I was leery to use Firestone because I've heard stories like this in the past, but I wanted to give them a chance. Bad Choice on my part! So now I'm out of over $700 and I only have the front brakes and rotors done. read more

This is a warning not to bring your vehicle here if you care about it. Totally incompetent staff. Especially Johnny Cucaz along with Jarrod Griffith and Mark Schmigiel in Johnson City, TN. They don't even know how to remove a lug nut without over torqueing it off! They broke off a lug nut, tried to say it's been that way since I got my tires (truly low IQ move by Johnny), then said another place put it on wrong (just more incompetence from Johnny). I used Firestone as an emergency on a 3 day holiday and Was desperate because I had to report to work the next day. My tire was leaking slowly. I was really conflicted because I always go to Conyers Honda for all my car repair/maintenance but it was closed that Sunday. So I purchased 2 tires and my car didn't care. Huh? But my cars was sold with nitrogen(?) tires right so how can they work? The tech assured me it was ok to run air filled tires with 2 nitrogen tires. I didn't believe him and feared for my car's life. But they worked so when the last 2 nitrogens died I replaced them with air filled tires and my 2012 Honda Accord rides perfectly. Why the low score? My tire light came on and instead of putting my car on a rack the tech just put some air in them and sent me on my way. True it was Saturday and they were short staffed. The tire light never went off so I came back on a week day and purchased 2 new tires for about $337. read more

This Firestone has great customer service! There is a lady there named Cynthia. Back in March, she helped me with my car. Getting the tire repaired. The tire had to be ordered. She was not only courteous but very informing. She let me know the tire had to be ordered and delivered to their location. She appears to work in a manner of professionalism and cares about the customers she serves. She can multitask and still make you feel confident that you will be taken care of. read more

Firestone off of 138 in Conyers is horrible! when you come in as a walk in they say you should make an appointment then when you make an appointment, they cancel it at will and then refer you to the website and say " it says it is a schedule request and not a confirmation. I called the store today around 12:15 this afternoon and a guy answered the call, sound like a "black male". I asked for a simple quote to change my starter on my vehicle and the guy insisted that I bring my car in to be charged a fee to look at my car. If I could give ZERO stars at the Firestone location in Conyers, GA on hwy 138 I would!!! I dropped my truck off to get an alignment that I have covered under my lifetime alignment. My vehicle was dropped at 2:30pm and I asked if they could do it by the time they close at 7:00 pm. Cynthia said yes and wrote me up and I left the vehicle there. I came back to pick it up at 6:45pm even though no one contacted me to say it was ready or anything else. When I arrived my truck was parked in the exact spot I parked it. A worker from the back came out since the lobby was empty and asked was I here to pick up my Jeep. When I told him yes he said that no one got to it today and he's sorry. He asked would I bring it back tomorrow and I told him no since I'm leaving out of town in the morning- hence why I asked if they would complete the job in time. They aren't worth 1 star. I had an appt with them for an oil change at 2:30 on 7/7/20, so I sent my son in place of me. After sitting there for 3 ridiculous hours they approach him and tell him they can't do it and to reschedule, so I rescheduled for today at 11:00. If I could give them a zero star I would. On Saturday January 5, 2019 I took my vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care at 2066 Northlake Pkwy Tucker, GA 30084. I paid $230.40 for an oil change and diagnostic. The diagnostic they performed revealed a laundry list of things. I then decided to take it to my personal mechanic to have him run a diagnostic and to check the oil. Upon his inspection they car did not have any oil and the oil filter had not been changed. The diagnostic test he ran revealed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Don't take your vehicles to this company. They definitely have unethical practices. Was very happy with how my car drove afterwards. I was aware it was going to be raining all weekend and they offered multiple suggestions for new windshield wipers. I would avoid this "shop" at all costs. Scheduled a wheel alignment. Dropped off the vehicle for over 3 hours. They said that it would be done. They failed to get the alignment done. And kept the vehicle overnight. The service I experienced today was downright disrespectful and uncalled for. The Man I spoke with started hurling insults and got out of control very quickly. I was trying to figure out what he was talking about and then told me to get out and threatened to call someone reaching for the phone. Threatening customers is not wise move. I just came in for a wheel alignment, but they wanted to charge me extra for something. But I already have a life time alignment? I had some front end parts replaced. They are being paid to do the alignment are they not? Originally I dropped the vehicle off on Sunday and they said they would get it done. But they didn't. They had the car for over 3hours. Thought I needed air and ended up having a nail in my tire. The Rep did not want to assist me since it was 30 minutes before the shop was closing. The manager stated " Sure, if I had something to put it in" I told him I did not but I point to an empty windshield washer fluid gallon jug on the floor by his feet and said "Could I use that?" to which he replied "No, that has nasty stuff in it" I could clearly see if was empty and I said "Look, I just need some water but I don't have anything to put it in" and he replied "Sorry". Soooo, I had to call my wife to bring me 2 gallon jugs of water to put in my truck while it was in the store parking lot. Very unprofessional. We came here on Friday because my mother-in-law purchased new tires from them last year and included in the purchase are free lifetime alignment services! Incredible. I don't know a ton about cars but I've never heard of this deal before and even my husband thought it was pretty great. But beyond the great lifetime service, I was impressed with how fast they got us in and out on a Friday afternoon. No appointment needed, we just walked in around 1pm on a Friday, they quickly checked us in, very friendly customer service and told us it should be done in about an hour. So we went to lunch just down the street and by the time we came back, everything was done and the car was waiting for us. If you don't have another car to drive to lunch with, they have a nice, large waiting area with comfortable looking seats, TVs, drinks, etc. The place was well air conditioned, spacious and clean. We only had to get our tires rotated this time but with their friendly, fast service, I wouldn't hesitate to come to them for any of my other auto care needs. read more

I took my mom's van in for a brake inspection, this location had replaced the brake pads in 2016, I told the service writer what our main 2 complaints were and left the vehicle. I received a call from the service writer telling me that the brake pads would need to be replaced and the warranty would be voided because they would not be covered under normal wear. Why? The rotors need to be replaced, they were declined last year when the pads were replaced and they are over due. At no time did the service writer address to most disturbing of our complaints; the grinding noise. The noise was not a squeak, the noise you hear when pad have warn down to metal. I told the service writer I would take the information and recommendations to my parents and let her know something as soon as possible but she asked me to hold and a male, Phil, got on the line and thought it necessary to speak to me as if I had not common sense much less a brain cell. I informed him that I did know a little about the automotive business and he continued into a belittling rant which I told him he should stop and informed him that he lost a sale. I took the vehicle to another repair shop, they wanted to know who told me I needed a brake job. They were also nice enough to let me take photos. The rotors aren't damaged, the pads aren't in need of replacement and the nail in the front passenger tire they missed. The car vehicle doesn't need alignment after the tires were rotated and the fuel system isn't due for maintenance but thanks for not knowing your business, wasting my time, and giving someone else a deserved job. read more
