The gentlemen at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Escondido were great! I got a flat tire on I-15 N, limped the car off the road, and luckily stumbled upon them. They were able to squeeze me into their already jam packed day and fix my tire so that I could make it home safely. Without them, I would have been stranded on the side of the road. It takes them 10+ hours to do oil changes, they have zero communication about the time frame to do a job. It takes them over 15 minutes to even greet customers that come into the store. They have no respect for their customers time and if you have any respect for yours you will take your car literally anywhere else read more

I dedicated to take my car there because the place I usually take it are only open on the weekdays and I there was no way I could've take there anymore because of my job I recently started. So my car needed an alignment with the new wheels I recently put on, which were rubbing inside and I just needed to take off the camber in the front(only). I go take my car there and the front guy just ask for ask for keys he didn't even ask what specs I wanted or anything and they just did a normal. When I told him what I wanted he told me to come in the same time as next week because the guy that knows how to do camber wasn't there. I showed up the next week and dropped my car off again before I left I wanted to remind him to take off the camber in the front(only). When I went to finally pick it up the guy show me specs and some reason they off more camber in the rear than front, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted. The guy supposedly said that I requested that which i never did because I didn't mention the rear at all. I literally didn't wanted to stay and argue so I just left and once I left the rear wheels were rubbing bad damaging both my tires and my rear bumper. Instead of complaining about it I decided to take it back to where I will originally take it. While traveling on a vacation our car managed to get a tire puncture in an almost new run-flat tire by running over a large screw. I located a tire store on the internet and was able to drive to it. Store was Firestone Complete Auto Repair at 615 W El Norte Parkway in Escondido. The store manager, Paul, got me right in to inspect the repairability of the tire. The service manager, Ben, was able to remove the screw and repair the leak. All at no charge. Great service. No question that I was extremely pleased with the service. read more

I just found my new primary care source for my car. I went in suspecting my transmission was going out (reluctant to shift from 1st to 2nd on occasion). With the free diagnosis indicating possible transmission problems, I was referred to an outstanding transmission shop (Oceanside Transmission Inc) where another free diagnosis ruled out transmission problems. In the process of conducting the $99 diagnostic that was expected to confirm the indicated need to replace multiple sensors in the engine for over $1,600, it was discovered that rodents chewing on the wires had caused the problem, that was repaired within the diagnosis fee. Given the great people, 7-day a week access, free checks for assorted conditions, comfortable waiting facility, and tremendous results, I cannot imagine going anywhere else for automotive services! read more

Brought my car in about 5 months ago to fix a brake noise problem. Almost a thousand dollars later, the problem has not been fixed. I'm not saying the recommended repairs were not needed as they were but it didn't fix my problem. Not sure I will bring the vehicle back for more hard sell tactics that don't fix the problem. read more

Went in there to have my car checked for what I thought was a leaking tire and to make sure it was ready to be shipped to Costa Rica for a not-for-profit that it was donated to these people did such an amazing job they truly checked everything they looked everything over and they found a pinhole puncture on one of my tires that was so small it is amazing they found it and they repaired it all done quickly completely and for reasonable dollars one of my best experiences with any car repair place ever read more

This place is a complete joke. I only came here on a Sunday because discount tire was closed and had no other choice. My tire pressure sensor was on so i brought my 2016 Toyota Corolla LE here. When i walked in there was only 1 person ahead of me in the waiting room. Talked to the service guy and it took them almost an hour just to pull the car in. After complaining to an employee about what was taking so long (because they weren't even busy and all of their bays weren't filled either) they finally pulled the car in. They then showed me the Cause which was a tiny slash which could've easily been repaired and patched. The tire was brand new as i got a set from discount tire in mid January and it was beginning of March. Not only did they pull one over on me cause i had no choice since they were the only ones open. They charged me $100 for what they claim was their most cost effective tire and refused to repair a brand new tire that was could've been repaired. But then again they're salesmen and try to up sell u on everything. After getting the car back i drive off and turn on the AC and there's a low clanging noise that wasn't there after these bozos has touched my car. I wasn't even a quarter mile away when i heard it. I went right back and talked to the asshole in charge and he was trying to make me wait i again after maybe 3-4 minutes of my leaving after they replaced the car. I even told him i don't want anything touched but repairing the tire. I also told this jackass that there was nothing wrong with my AC till they touched it and they need to look at it immediately. I informed their so-called manager if he comes back telling me there's something magically wrong or that it's gonna be a few hundred dollars repair to fix my AC that we were gonna have a serious problem and I'll take it above to his superiors and corporate firestone or whoever needed to address it. Because there was nothing wrong with my AC at all till they fucked with it. He could tell i was pissed off and not in the mood to be dealing with and had his lead technician look at was wrong. I went outside and made it clear to the technician i was watching everything he did. And i tested it out before letting him to make sure they fixed whatever they tampered with. I'll never go back to this spot again. Not only are these clowns a bunch of fucking jiffy lube rejects. They overcharge you and up sell u in everything and purposely fuck shit up so they can repair it for you for a ridiculous price. If you came with a brand new car from a dealership they would tell some ignorant bastard "oh your car is leaking oil". Do not trust these clowns. They are not real mechanics and they use cheap parts on what they claim to repair. I've heard so many times how they claim to their customers something needs a repair and they either don't fix what's actually wrong or there's no problem at all. They are sales people out to just make their commission. Go to a real mechanic if u need work done. If u need tires to to discount tires or Costco. Not these assholes. read more

This location was a recent take over by Firestone. They honored my warranty from the previous company, multiple times. I went through a total of 5 alternators between this location and a location in Orange County. These guys got me a rental, then called in their electrical specialist and he found the main source of my problem pretty quickly. They had the repairs done and had me back on the road in a couple of days. I haven't had anymore electrical issues with the car since then. BIG THANKS to the whole crew!! read more
