I will not use this location again. I received my regular oil change and tire rotation. When I got to my home, only 3 miles away, my drivers side rear hubcap was missing. I contacted the shop, as it was custom and not put back on the vehicle properly. The service manager Joe told me he would replace if I come back and get the $1300 in recommended services. read more

I had an appointment and still waited over 2 hours. At 90 minutes I asked and was told 5 minutes but it was 30. I was asked to sign a bill with no $ amount. He rekuctantly told me $89 and I asked if $25 voucher was applied. I asked for printout but was told i would get it by email which never happened. Then the sticker was not for my car so i don't know if oil was changed. When firestone survey arrived, i detailed this a d was told they would call sithin two days but they neverdid. I can't recommend this company enough. I had been having an absolutely horrible day when my jeep decided to not turn over right in the parking lot of the store behind Firestone. I had been in an accident prior to this and had been dealing with the insurance company. I decided to walk over to Firestone to see if they would be willing to help me because I was just at a breaking point and not only did they immediately come out to see my jeep but they assisted in getting it over to the shop. Within ten minutes they had a game plan and began working on my vehicle so I could be back on the road. I don't think they realize how their kindness and quick response changed my day. Truly. I brought in my sons car and tried to drop it with their covid curbside. No one came outside so I poked my head inside and the guy told me I had to park it over in a spot and come in. I hadn't had my shot yet and Covid was still on my mind but his tires were balding so I donned mask and wipes and went in. Next, the manager (?) crabbed at me as I entered putting my keys away because my mask wasn't over my other ear yet. Ok..I'm tryin here... Next, I find out they no longer stock tires and it'll be a week before I can get them. Ugh. Fast forward, A week later I called them to find out my tires have been in for several days so we schedule an appointment for noon on Thursday. I came inside telling them I was going to leave it with them and go next-door for lunch. I went and enjoy delicious meal and walked back over about an hour later. They had not even started on my car... So again I waited, mask up, for another two hours. It started to rain. I looked out and saw our car parked off to the side in a spot about the end of a second hour. I got up and went to the counter and the guy said oh yeah it's ready... Seriously?? I've waited for how long and you didn't bother to tell me ...I'm the only one in here! Next I found out that they cannot reset the tire sensor without again re-ordering something. I needed help and fast! My Prius battery (the one under the hood) died. I rapidly found that AAA didn't carry them on their service trucks (too expensive and kind of a pain to install). I called AutoZone to see if they had and could install, and learned my second lesson of the day: there are parts stores that said they have them but don't install, and Service Centers don't have them, but can install. Enter the heroes at Firestone. I explained my wife had to be somewhere later in the afternoon, and I know you don't have the battery in stock, but - yes, I did. I asked a mechanic shop to install something I would buy somewhere else, which is so awful I hate even mentioning it - but understanding that I was stuck and wanting to help they told me to come in, and they would install the battery. They were as good as their word. They did not gouge me on labor, and got the car in and out in under 45 minutes. The car is now happy again, my wife is now happy again, which means I am very happy again! Some quick observations: The facility is clean and well-kept, without noisy outflow from the service area. The service writers are helpful and clear about charges and details, and the mechanics deliver on time. The battery was placed in my car on a protective sheet of paper, a considerate touch. I will be back for other services after the terrific experience today. read more

I needed new front and rear brakes on my car, new rotars and I had a small brake fluid leek, so I did some checking online and found Firestone's prices competitive and they are close to my house. They gave me a free estimate and said it would take about 2 hours, the salesman was very thorough and helpful. I decided to leave for a bit and came back about one and a half hours later. I was the only one in the waiting room and the three salespeople were there. It took about two and a half hours to complete. The price was less than the estimate which I was very pleased about. After I paid I went outside and Tom Bowling (the man who worked on my car) showed me what he did and talked to me for a few minutes about my car. Overall I was very pleased with my choice. read more

Walk in for an oil change because the light just turned on, no one was in the store. They were all smoking and talking outside. No cars in location and they said they could not help me. They didn't even offer to come out and check which light or my oil level nothing. Terrible attention with no customer in the store. They did not provide good customer service, talk to me in a bad way. And told me to drop off my car and pick it up in the afternoon. I live out of town i cant do that. The new manager at this location, Earl, is honest, understands customer service and made sure the work was done correctly. I recently moved down to the area and he was very fair in fixing issues created by another Firestone location. All too often people find loop holes or reasons as to why they can't own up to mistakes but Earl was quick to acknowledge the situation and made sure the work was done right. I highly recommend going to this specific location and asking for Earl. read more

Not sure why I went there in the first place because it is so far from my house, but my family and i were out running errands, and we love to eat at Iquana Mia when we are close enough, so I thought I have this tire in the front passenger side that seems to have a slow leak. Took it in and left while we had lunch, came back, they couldn't find anything wrong, I thought that odd but was happy it didn't cost me anything. Two days later, my tire pressure light came on, went by the gas station to fill up the tire AGAIN, the idiots at firestone forgot to put a cap on the . I waited another week, and we happened to be running errands again in Ft. Myers, so I said let's pop in and asked them to seal the tire, cause I was tired of having to fill it up. We go to lunch, come back, and now I get the news I need two new tires due to a bad alignment. I am suspicious because this car is 3 years old and only has 40K miles. But we are driving to GA in a few days and i want to make sure the car is tip top. So I say okay, we wait around for 2 hours, it's still not done, I know these things can take time, so I ask how much longer, the manager thinks easily another hour or so....a total of 4.5 hours after i brought it in, the 2 tires are replaced and the alignment "fixed" EXCEPT, when I pull out of their parking lot, my steering wheel is 20 DEGREES to the left when the tires are straight. I was absolutely LIVID, I had my husband call them while we were driving home. The only reason I didn't turn around right at that moment was my kids were exhausted from being stuck in that shop, we were ready for dinner and just wanted to go home. They said we could take it back the next day to be fixed. I can't tell you how angry I was, I shouldn't have gone back the next day but since I had paid them to fix the tires, and they messed up the steering I thought they should fix the problem. So the next day (sunday, father's day) we drop off my car at 10am, and hop into my husbands car to drive down to gulf coast town center a good 30-40 minutes away. We had a wonderful fathers day shopping eating, etc. I called the shop on our way back at 4pm, my car still wasn't done?!?! I got there around 4:40, they obviously didn't charge me for correcting the steering wheel, but they had the gall to ask me if I backed into a curb after I left the previous day, insinuating the steering was off because of something I did. I was speechless. THEN they have the gall to tell me I have a ball bearing that needs to be replaced in the front axle and my battery is near dead. At that point I called bullshit. Reminded them the car is only 3 years old, and that this was utter fraud. I then drove this very car all the way to the mountains of GA and back to Florida (12 hours each way) with out the battery going once or the effing tire falling off. I know a good honest mechanic can be hard to find, so my husband does a lot of our car repair himself. But when it comes to balancing alignment, I will look for another location in the future, these guys are out and out crooks, and should not be trusted!! read more

Firestone's Complete Auto care located on 4325 Cleveland Ave in Ft. Myers FL is the worst place to have any service done to your car. I made an appointment to have an oil change done on a BMW back in Feb, 2015. I arrived at the scheduled time of 10.00 am, prior to speaking with the store manager about ordering a special bend of full synthetic 10w30 motor oil which i requested for this car. I was told the oil would be in stock in order to complete the scheduled oil change which it was not. After waiting another 30-40 mins for the oil to arrive from Napa i began to think to myself it should not take any more time before the oil change is complete. This car has an oil service indicator light located in the speedometer that has to be reset once the oil has been replaced. The store manager assured me there would not be any problems resetting this indicator, because the store has an oil service reset tool, plus the tech working on my car has experience using this tool. When my car was pulled around to the front of the store i decided to check to see if they had reset the service indicator light which is vital to this model car. To my surprise they had not. Therefore, i asked to speak with the manager again to find out the reason for this error. I was told by the manager that the tech who worked on my car had used his own reset tool instead of the equipment provided by the shop. As a result, the tech did not know what needed to be reset in the instrument cluster, so he thought the red oil indicator warning light was the oil service indicator strip that i had mentioned earlier. After much debate i suggested to the tech that he should have used the tool provided by the store, plus if he did not know where the oil service indicator strip is located i would show him, plus i would also point out where he needed to plug in the tool under the hood. I had to show not only the tech, but the store manager also how to reset the oil service indicator on my car, because neither one of them had any idea how to do this simple task. This was a complete surprise to me because all BMW's have this indicator that is part of an oil change service. This experience had taught me that these fools at Firestone have no knowledge working on BMW cars what so ever. The appointment was scheduled at 10.00 am, it took these fools almost 2 hours to complete a simple job. In future i said to the store manager, that i would pay the high cost of having the oil change done by BMW even if the cost exceeds $150.00 to have a peace of mind than to bring my car back to Firestone Complete Auto Care again. Because the staff at this location do not have the experience or resources to gain a better understanding of what is needed on these cars, they are complete fucking fools, plus any BMW owner is taking a huge risk if you entrust these idiots to undertake a simple oil change read more
