We were just overcharged on 2 items. My wife left our car there, it's near our work, and I had expected a few hundred dollars at most to add freon to our AC and fill the windshield wiper reservoir. AI tells me this is a $300 charge. We paid 680.00. I called to complain, and the guy on the phone would not back down on the $194.40 charge for adding windshield wiper fluid nor the 9.99 for the AC Performance Check ("yep, it's cold!). Very disappointed in their service! Constantly trying to push other repairs on customers. Recommended a friend to this location, and my friend almost disowned me. Todd the store manager thinks he is in the right regardless of the issues. Relies on manufacture for his defense on poor service. I used to feel like a valued customer once, but now not so much. Title: let your yes be yes and your no be no. This morning I was calling around for quotes of oil changes. I was getting quotes of $126-130. Last call was to Firestone. They came in at $116 and then had an instore coupon for 15% off. So said total was "$98.03." (Note the quotes) So I come in. I tell Mr. Luis that I was quoted $98.03. He starts in with ..."im not saying you weren't, I just need to look it up. # 1 Luis is now saying giving me the excuse that Luke is brand new and he quoted me a dollar more off than he should and he should have quoted me for just the oil discount. # 2 So now Luis is telling me OTD price is actually $98.38. I tell Luis..it would be great if it could be the price I was quoted. To which #3 Luis goes: " don't be like that bro. It's $.30 bro. If you want I can give the $.30 (mind you...major attitude behind it all) And now makes it a point to count each individual cent like im stupid. And upon collecting...Luis goes...you forgot your $.10. Listen...A) loose the tude and B ) at the end of the day...its never about the thing ie the $.30. It's about the principle. I've called them twice to get an appointment to buy four new tires. The first time I tried I never got an answer. When trying again today I was on hold for about 10 minutes. Finally got ahold of somebody. He was rude. Told me to try and just come by and see if they had them in stock and would not help me over the phone. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE!!! 11290 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33905 As I was fueling my F150, the gas pump kept shutting off like my tank was full. It took approximately 20 minutes to fill up. I did not think anything of it, contributing it to a gas pump that had too much pressure behind it. Truck was running fine, without any signs or symptoms of any issues. A day or two later, the check engine light illuminated. I took it to AutoZone and had them run a diagnostics test. The test revealed that I needed to replace a faulty fuel tank isolation valve. When I Googled the part/issue, I discovered that the gas pump shutting off like it did was a sign of that faulty part. The valve is on top of the trucks fuel tank and I did not have the means to do it on my own. Being new to the area, I did not have a mechanic that I trusted. I decided to bring it to this Firestone since I have had good experiences at a different location in Dunedin, FL. I told the associate what the AutoZone test showed along with giving them a copy of the results. They ran their own diagnostics and called with the results, which did not include the part the AutoZone test revealed. When I questioned that, they assured me that their solution would fix the issue at a cost of $832.18. When I picked up my truck a few hours later, the check engine light was off and it seemed to be running the same as before the repair, no signs/symptoms. I had to travel for work, so I didn't drive it for close to 2 weeks. When it was time to fuel up. I had the same issue with the gas pump shutting down. I brought the truck back to the same Firestone. I informed them that I felt like they didn't fix the original issue and sold me unrelated parts/repair. They ran another diagnostic test and it showed that the part listed on the AutoZone test (what I originally told them and showed them ) was the faulty one and that it would now cost over $1000.00 to repair. I feel that they just ignored the AutoZone test summary and sold me unrelated parts and repair. They failed to take responsibility and fix the issue without another cost to myself. read more

I hate auto shops. But, I had a good experience here. The manager was good to work with. No BS, no overselling. Just addressed what I needed and the price for tires, compared to Costco, was better. Best service hands down! Holly has been taking care of my car the past few months. As a full time student I didn't have the money to buy all new tires even though they were all completely bald, and she helped me pick out the best tires for the best price. We went ahead and got 1 tire a month then I got the last 2 tires today as that's the only way I could afford it. Dropped off car for alignment, waited an hour, then told the alignment couldn't be done until I replaced this/that. Estimate=630$. Took it somewhere else, absolutely nothing wrong with performing an alignment, in and out, 99$. I will never go here again. I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

This location isn't usually too busy and they can accommodate pretty much any service the same-day. I've had a couple small hiccups with this location but I always had Joel, one of the advisors, ready to basically take care of whatever had transpired. These guys will communicate with you much more thoroughly than most other auto repairs shops I've seen in the area so definitely 5 stars. read more

Bought the unlimited alignment about two years ago at the Cape Coral location-- great store... and i recently moved to fort myers and come to this one for further needs. Oil changes/ tires/ rotations, etc. but my alignment is always pushing me to to right and i always got it checked when i brought my vehicle in for other repairs; every time i was back on the road, i continued veering to the right. even the guy who worked on my car said it was good and tested before handing it back to me... anyways, today, i decided to get the full check test to see if there is any other issues causing this. the final check was done, and nothing came in to be causing this and they asked if i still wanted to do the alignment check. the gentleman said it was because of my right tire (which started having an issue yesterday) but i said it's been happening for the past 6-7 months i've been bringing it in. he also said it could be the tread on my tires-- and i do realize that has some sort of factor, but let me tell you-- i was being pulled 7-8 feet within a matter of a a couple seconds, and my tread was obviously in good condition. he also suggested getting new tires, which ultimately made me think they're just trying to upsell me instead of fixing an issue that shouldn't be an issue-- which i know when it's time for new tires, now isn't it. he told me that that it's best for tire rotation when i have this issue, but i've brought it back to this place for the last three times i needed something fixed and this was never brought up? i'll shop local next time-- thanks! read more

Girlfriends car had a blow out on 41. She had no spare or jack, so I went to the store and spoke with the manager. He had one of his guys drive about a mile to with a jack, take off tire, return to store, mount new tire, return and put new tire on. This was fantastic customer service!! You guys were awesome!
