We've got it." I could tell they were having trouble with it, but I trusted they knew what they were doing. When I got home, I found that they had lost one of the skid plate bolts, and another bolt was barely threaded in and wiggling. They actually let me drive away like that. That is a serious safety hazard. If the skid plate had come loose while I was driving, it could have caused significant damage or even an accident. I can't believe they would allow a customer to leave without properly securing the vehicle, especially when they claim to inspect everything. After this experience, I would not trust their "final checks," and I definitely wouldn't trust them with my vehicle. A routine oil change should not result in a dangerous situation. Bonus points that it's less than 5 minutes from me. Every time I pull up, someone greets me at my window and takes care of it. I just show my vehicle insurance on my phone. I've never had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes for the inspections. Oil changes will take longer, of course. There's 3 bays that they work from. There are coupons on their website. There's a small waiting area while you wait. It's clean and has a TV and Keurig. There's a clear window view of them doing the work. You can also hear what's happening. I overheard some enthusiastic comments about my Crown. Haha. Thank you. I'm a Toyota person and had my previous one for 20 years. The nice guy who greeted me said he had his Camry for 311,000+ miles. Impressive. As long as I'm in the area, I'll continue to get my vehicle inspections here. Next time, I'll ask about their oil change.

After a prior visit to replace air for a slow leak, I was following up to fix the nail what was found in the same leaking tire. Following a check and consult from a rep ('Morgan') and review, I was heavily pushed into the purchase of new tires for my vehicle. This was after the purchase of two tires from this same DT branch just a little over two years ago supposedly with 60,000 miles of coverage. One of the most uncomfortable parts, honestly...was Morgan's push for the sale, and not really listening my concern, nor looking back at the history of my business. If tires had been purchased within the warranty period, along with certificates for refund or replacement, then why are you trying to sell me tires again? Did you take time to listen...or to look into my account? Or are am I just someone else walking through the door? And by the way, all the 'yelling' across the indoor area and vehicle bay in front of customers...really, guys? Sure get the work done, but we know it's for show (womp-womp!) I'll see when/if Discount Tire words to rectify this issue, and if a resolution or clarification can be reached. No problem with giving a solid business the opportunity to correct. But do right by your customers, every time.

Ray is the most honest mechanic I know and I will never go anywhere else. He always checks for recalls and will send me to the dealership to get those done, rather than him charge me and do the work which he could easily do because I'm clueless about cars. There's also been two times where the dealership has told me I need to have something done and give me a quote, then I call Ray on the spot, and he tells me not to have it done it there because they're overcharging, and he ends up charging me little or even nothing. I do, however, think their customer service has gone down since their old receptionist left out of the country. She was awesome, but the replacement(s) are not as helpful as she was.
