Got an alignment performed here and this is the second time with two different vehicles that the alignment was not performed correctly. This time the tech left my upper control arm bolts loose and my front end started making a clunking noise and then I noticed my steering wheel was not straight anymore. That's when I got underneath and determined that the tech did not tighten my upper control arm bolts properly and now the truck is out of alignment again. I have been going to Firestone for my vehicle service needs since I was 16, and had the worst customer service experience I've had in my life with Doug at the Huntsville location. I got a flat tire off the feeder and happened to make it to this location coming home from work. I left my car in the lot and left a ticket for service the next morning. When I arrived right after the store opened the next morning with my mother-in-law, we were not greeted for about 20 minutes as the only sales rep was assisting someone else- totally understandable. Additionally, no one in the store, employees and customers, were wearing masks or any other PPE. He then asks for my name and aggressively told me he couldn't get my car to start, as the battery in my fob had died. So I showed him how to use it, was able to turn the vehicle on, and get it in the garage. Meanwhile, I'm told to wait for assistance. Next thing I know they have my car up and are conducting an oil change without first communicating what services they are doing. I ask for assistance from another representative, who says I had requested an oil change. When I questioned the service, Doug returned, held the ticket inches from my face and shook it mockingly, and said "Does it look like you checked oil change to you? Don't call me a liar!" Now, for reference, it did appear I had checked oil change, as I completed the ticket after dark and oil change was directly above the flat tire box. I expressed no emotion regarding the oil change, just asked for further clarification on what services were being performed on my vehicle since I had received no prior communication to this point. Because of my mistake, I was happy to pay $25 for an oil change BUT his response was totally unwarranted and extremely disrespectful at 8 AM. The remainder of the staff watched his behavior, and the same previous employer came to assist us from that point forward, but no one apologized for his behavior or offered any resolve for the lack of communication or unwanted service. This entire issue could have been resolved had they just confirmed my ticket prior to beginning services, but Doug's behavior and the other employees lack of a reaction will make me avoid this location at all costs going forward. read more

I'd give zero stars. They take checks, but their computer system wouldn't take mine through. So they forced me to take the tires off instead of keeping the check and depositing it like normal people. Let me be clear: there was nothing wrong with the check or lack of funds. So I told them to take the tires off and I will not be coming back here. They didn't even try to work with me. It's a holiday weekend. The banks are closed. I've never been so angry. I'll be taking my $1000 somewhere else. If you're smart, you won't do business with these people either. read more

Well ... just make sure to tack on another hr of wait time after your vehicle is done. It only makes sense to have more employees on holidays if open since a lot of people travel. Just for constructive criticism, if advising, try to limit the side talking down. Could have saved my wait time by a lot of that was minimized. Just from a business perspective. I have came to Firestone 3 times for you get tires and alignment. The personnel at the front desk are not familiar with any tire sizes or alignment 's. Not even close to accurate with wait times. There are more people huddled around the computers then actually working on cars. Unless you have to have a alignment GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE.Way better service and knowledge of tires. I had to have my car towed to Firestone after it not starting in the H-E-B parking lot on 11th street. Pete Johnson was the towing company I used and the driver Tim, even called them to tell them he was on the way and if they had an open bay to look at my car and luckily they did. After explaining to them what happened, they did a battery and starter check to see what the problem was. They informed me that my battery was only reading 9 volts as opposed to 14 volts and recommend that I get it replaced otherwise there is a high possibility that it could die again. I told them to go ahead and replace it and my father had informed that the battery was 3.5 years old which meant it was probably time to get it replaced. I asked them if the starter was ok and they said yes the starter is fine, it is only your battery that needs replacing and they explained to me the relationship between the battery and starter in a clear and concise manner. They even let me put my cold groceries in their fridge while they were changing the battery so that the food wouldn't spoil. Very friendly thing to do! I was in there between 30-40 minutes and while paying, they were able to give me a discount so I was able to save some money. When they gave me my invoice, they showed me where the warranty information for the battery was. I cannot thank the crew here enough for being able to quickly replace the battery so that I could even go home for the weekend! Thanks again, Firestone! read more
