I went to this shop based on the referral of a friend. She has had her car worked on throughout her college years. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. I gave the long list of things the car was doing and the manager listened attentively as I rambled on about the POS car. After checking in, he took my keys and told me to "make my self at home" There was Keurig coffee, bottled water and water cooler, and TV. The lobby was surprisingly clean and smelled fresh, not my experience with the old shop I used. 10 minutes later, he came back to me and I got ready for the worst. He explained that I had 3 wires under the battery that battery acid had eaten through partially, causing a short. (I had battery replaced 2 weeks earlier at Walmart because it was leaking) To my surprise, he handed me my keys and told me they did a wiring repair, and there was no charge. He could have charged me for the repair, or for checking it, or both. He chose to gain a new customer instead. I will be using Steve's Tune Up Plus from now on. Thanks! read more

I was referred to this company by an acquaintance & Thank God I was. I was having problems with the Front wheel Berrings & the Carrier Berring. Mr Bruce Ellis & the other Knowledgeable gentlemen addressed the issues & tackled the problems quickly & professionally. They got my 2010 Tacoma purring like a kitten. Also they didn't mind taking care of a belt that it was needing & addressed the issues with the AC unit. First of all, let me say the people here are awesome! I came in for a squeak and to check brakes. I did not need brakes, and the squeak turned out to be "control arm bushings". I left the truck at 11:30 in the morning, and they called me at 3 PM to tell me it was fixed. They took the time to explain what was needed with no pressure. Have gone to Steve's Tune Up twice for my Lincoln MKT. My starter went out the 1st time & the 2nd I thought it was my spark plugs, but I stand corrected...It was my fuel injection. He was honest with me & said the spark plugs were fine, so no need to replace those. I appreciated his honesty & not just taking my word for it. Had AC evaporater core, heater core, and pitman arm replaced on a 2015 Sierra Denali. A very difficult and time consuming job. They did excellent work as timely as could be expected under extenuating circumstances due to flooding and power outages in the region. Friendly staff and competent reasonably priced service.
