Service Manager pretends to be a mechanic and tries to enforce whatever he says even though he has no idea what he's talking about. Recently i purchased aftermarket wheels and tires. Nothing crazy, I went from 18's to 19's. I have a base model Q50, the redsport comes with 19's anyway to give you an idea. My suspension is stock. As soon as he saw the tech about to start to perform an alignment, he rushed across the store to tell him & me that it was impossible for him to align the car. Due to the "aftermarket wheels". That the machines hub arms would get stuck and damaged and that he didn't even want to risk it. I wasn't an expert in alignment so I decided to leave without argument. He's explanation was that for caster, he would have to turn my wheels and there wouldn't be any space to turn them with the hub sensors on 3 to 9. Sure enough another Firestone aligned my wheels with no issue at all. No rubbing, nothing interfering with the machine or my wheels. First of all, my Q50 doesn't adjust caster. Second, when the machine starts the alignment process, it asks you to move the car forward, thus moving the hub arms to about 7 & 1. Clearing any fender that would get in the way. I remind you my wheels are stockish diameter with stock suspension. I know it's hard to explain but he basically wasted my time with misinformed information. He's not a mechanic, he doesn't do alignments. The actual tech himself was speechless and didn't say a word. Just looked at me with a face like "what am I going to do, he's the boss". A complete waste of time and he used his only power in this world to enforce his pettiness. I won't be back, The Firestone by coral way is the best one I've been to! I've been bringing my cars for over 15 years but on Friday November 10, 2023 I passed by because my SUV kept saying it needed air and it happened it had a nail puncture and the entire tire needed to be changed. Service advisor also Store Manager Alexis which is the gentleman who always take care of all 3 of my vehicles made the order on Thursday and on Friday they did the change. It took them about 1 hour to have it ready. Unfortunately at the time I picked up my vehicle I noticed the whole rim was COMPLETELY SCRATCHED when they took the rim out of the tire. Alexis & Technician Jose Maria tried to convince me it was dirty and them by simply cleaning it; it will be fine. I told them to double check and show me the inner side of the rim. THE ENTIRE RIM WAS COMPLETELY SCRATCHED! I will be taking it back this Friday November 17, 2023 for them to try to fix it. BE CAREFUL when you bring your vehicle check everything before and after! Run from this place, a bunch of thieves. They charge you for the inspection, they come back with a $700.00 bill stating that it is the thermostat. We take it to Tire Plus, they come back with a reservoir leak and cost of $200.00. Tire plus even removes the fee if you do the repair with them, unlike firestone who charges in addition to the repair, so they want to make an extra $500.00,plus the $40.00 for the wrong inspection.. You request the results, and they give you a paper with 5 words on it.. The customer service is horrible, when I asked for the inspection results, they actually were offended. Here is my story. I brought my car SUV for changing tires. After I picked up my car, the engine light was on, which had never been on before. I went back and they checked and suggest me that I need to change some parts. They quote me $437.68!!!! I left the the place had my friend check my car. When he opened the front of my car, I couldn't believe, the oxygen code was DISCONNECTED. After connected, my engine light was off. I am a girl, doesn't know anything about a car. I frequent this shop for my oil changes and periodic checkups. Today I sent my son there because he had a headlight out. He called me and asked if $300 was reasonable. I told him NO and we'd just take it to our local guy. He called me back saying they told him they could do it for $120. What changed?!?!? My opinion is they saw a teenager and figured that daddy would pay for it. You get 1 star for predatory practices on a teenager. And I will be contacting Firestone Corporate to let them know. Edit: my teenage son went to our local guy this morning and it was just a bulb. He changed the bulb and did an oil change as well. All for $60. Throughout the years I've been serviced by different store managers but Alex has been the store manager at this location for the last 10 years. He has always gone above and beyond to take care of our vehicles. Most of the technicians have been there for many years. Ask any questions by phone even prices and he will give you a straight answer. If he's not sure of your situation meaning you would have to drive it in, he will answer exactly that. 20 years+ of experience, i trust him and hasn't failed. The certified mechanics are specifically trained and well managed by Carlos and Hiram. Tire changes, tire prices, A/C checks, oil changes; I would trust them. I personally haven't made all my purchases or maintenance here as I always research the best price in town or area I'm in. With my lifetime wheel alignment (highly recommended, if you own your car) I always come to firestone. Take advantage to ask them questions (across the nation). They are smart, honest. The nicest guys work at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Doral! I had a flat tire and needed to get it replaced. The man who helped me explained things clearly and never tried to up-sell me. They even did a tire rotation for free! The waiting area is nice and very comfortable. One of the guys working there came over and asked if we wanted to change the channel on the TV and sat and spoke with us for 15 minutes or so. My car was serviced right away and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes! It was definitely a great experience, which isn't easy to say when you are replacing a flat tire. 4-stars because they advertised free-wifi, but it wasn't working when I was there. read more

Firstly I want to say that I have been bringing my cars to this store since 2009. Today I made an appointment for 3:30pm and even thought I was stuck in traffic on 107th Ave forever, I made it on time. I told the guy at the counter I was there for an oil change and he tells me that they do not have my vehicle's oil filter in house and that they would have to order it. I made an APPOINTMENT, why didn't they order the filter and have it ready? They could have called me and confirmed that I was bringing my car if they did not want to order and then i don't show up. Anyway he tells me they don't have my filter and then stays quiet. I had to ask him "so what are my options". He then tells me i can bring it on Saturday. I tell him I can be there at 8am but I would have my 4 year old daughter with me. He tells me the car should be done by 12pm. I respond "4 fours for an oil change?" and I repeat that I'll have my daughter with me. Again he does not give any response. I was better off talking to a tree. Horrible service. They need a better system in place for people that make appointments. Very disappointing experience especially since I've been such a loyal customer for so many years. One more thing, I have also noticed that the price of an oil change continues to go up every time I bring my car there. I literally have kept the receipts from the past. Came here after looking on YELP for a place to service my car after the Mazda dealer had an over 3 hour wait. I called around 8am to find out if they were open because it was Veterans Day and it turned out they opened at 7am. They were extremely courteous and helpful. Roberto Ruiz helped me service my car for everything it needed. I definitely will return. I rarely write these reviews but man, talk about bad service. There is a manager there that's probably the biggest prick I've ever met in my life. Besides that he's about 5 feet tall, I have never met such a belligerent asshole in my life. I have been going there for five years I have done numerous work on my car. For that, I have no complaints. But the store manager or whatever the heck he is has literally ruined any hope of someone like me coming back into the store. I would rather change the tire myself. I also saw him treat one of his employees in a very demeaning manner and trust me, the staff member did nothing to alienate this manager. This guy is just a prick. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I would love for someone to call me so I can continue to voice this one star rating. Lifesavers. My ignition key was stuck (don't buy a Ford). I went to the Ford dealership for help Bc I couldn't go home with a stuck ignition key. Ford dealer told me they had no mechanics bc it was à Sunday,which I understand, but I was in dire straits. Didn't they have a Ford mechanic on call for emergencies? Only if you have a warranty. Mine had expired so no help for me. I start worrying. What am I going to do?? I can't go home & leave my car unlocked with the key in the ignition. Then, I used Yelp and found that Firestone was open. I called and explained my situation & the manager encouraged me to come by. I did, and after an hour to hour and a half of work, they got it out. It was a problem with the gear shifter. I was so incredibly grateful that they were able to help me on a day when many mechanics shops were closed & that the mechanic didn't give up. read more

Don't go this place!!!! they Break everything!!!!! after I changed the oil... my hand break are broken, and few month later today ( No more motor in the car) is leaks.... (I called next day, and they told me if I want to fix the hand break will cost me about $500 to find out where broken) and my co-worker took the car to change oil.... they called and said wheel locked.... they broken the key hole... they charge him $550 to fix it and now he has 2 set of keys for the car..... These guys almost screwed me over. When I brought my car in for an inspection they said thousands of dollars of repairs were needed on my car and I later realized that was just not accurate. For example, they said my left wheel bearing was shot and needed to be replaced. When I brought it to a different mechanic (All Import Tech) they literally tightened a bolt and fixed the issue for me for no extra cost. Firestone also said, essentially, that they needed to do a comprehensive replacement of my car's suspension (strut assembly, control arms, etc). Again, I went to two other mechanics and they said the car was fine. It's a 2007 Honda Accord with 100,000 miles, so it is worn from use but functioning fine. They made it seem like I HAD to fix these issues that weren't actually issues. They even said my wiper blades needed replacement and I can see for myself the windshield wipers working...that's just a straight up money grab as far as I am concerned. The bottom line: they are cheaper than your average mechanic. But it's worth paying the extra $20 for an inspection elsewhere because at a different shop they take the time to show you what is wrong and explain why rather than thrusting a paper at you that calls for $2500 worth of repairs, the majority of which are probably not necessary. You will get a more thoughtful inspection somewhere else, and here you risk being ripped off. Avoid. read more

I am driving now an Enterprise rental car that happen to need an oil change, I was told to bring it to Firestone Auto Care near to International Mall. I when there April 6/16 about 3 pm. Apparently a didn't park in a proper place and was told in an inappropriate manner to move it. I ask how long will take the oil change, he told me 2 plus hours, I ask if they can drive me to my office, close to the shop and the answer was "I do not work for them" WOW! Yo do work for them, for me and for every body that bring the car to the shop. I leave and return friday april 8, the guy this time was nicer, I wait 2 plus hours and when pick the car, a new Buick Enclave, the driver side mat was dirty, they put a dirty oily shoe in that car without a paper. Took my husband's car on Tuesday for a simple oil change since I was going on a road trip and they offered to rotate my tires for free since I bought the tires there in December and they recommended to replace the break pads soon not immediately . I told them that I wasn't going to be able to change them that day but to give me the quote anyways . The very next day my car started making a rubbing noise every time I braked and that noise was never there to begin with . I understand that I potentially had to change my break pads but how convenient that the next day my car started making noise when it was fine all along . In others words they messed up my car, probably for me to go back and change/fix it with them. I called and complained and they said that I should've changed the break pads last December when they told me which was a complete lie . Now I'm out of town and potentially run the risk for my car to get even more damaged. Do not trust these people !!!! I know a mechanic that has told me stories about these big chain repair shops that purposefully damage other parts in order to get the client to come back and overcharge them!!! read more

Okay so if you care about your car you will make sure you give it the best care and no better place than Firestone to do your check ups after your dealer warranty is done. They are super professional and in my case they use Honda's genuine oil for my car. I took it in for routine oil change on Saturday morning and they took me in with no appointment but you have to be there early if you don't want to wait the whole day. The front desk rep was nice and they did not push any other services my car didn't need. It was done in about 2 hours and they left my car running like NEW. It's a 2016 car but I was past due on oil change. They called me to advise of the things that my car would be needing soon but did NOT perform any services I didn't ask. It is very worth the money you pay and 1000 times better than some places that offer oil change for 15 bucks that will leave your car worse of. Will keep coming back to Firestone for my services! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. THEY DO UNAUTHORIZED WORK ON YOUR CAR. After we discovered that our car did not accelerate right on 8/27/2014 we went to Firestone in Miami on 107th Street We checked the car in with the service personnel and went for luch. They said they would call us when they know what was wrong with our car. After about an hour they called and said, they recommend a fuel sysyem flush, a cooling system flush and a brake system flush. I told the service advisor on the phone i did not want a brake system flush but i agreed to have the other flushes done. When my wife picked up the car she discovered that Firestone did do the brake system flush without our authorization. She did not realize it at first but after a while we saw it and feel pretty bad about the customer service we received and about work done without an authorization from the customer.
