Terrible customer service. Brought my car in for a service. Got there at 12:00, Appointment was at 1:30. They had me there til 4pm and didn't even bother looking at the car. Told them I can't wait any longer, and the guy at the front desk basically walked away and had me there an extra 10 minutes before finally giving me my keys. Terrible customer service. Have you ever gotten a quote from a mechanic only to find out that they've somehow managed to tack on an extra $25, $50, or even $100 or more?? I sure have : /. Well, have you ever had a mechanic give you a quote only to take it down to a third of the original quote after test driving your car? Me either! Until this week, that is! I took my car to ZRT and got a quote from the front desk guy, Roberto, who was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I just knew I was in for it before I even walked through the door. My car was bouncy so I automatically thought suspension, I knew it was time for an oil change and an alignment, and I was praying it was time for a rotation, as opposed to a tire change. Well, I go in and Roberto kindly checks my car at my request, although that's not really his job. He looks at my tires and says nope, no new tires needed, just a rotation :). He also says I may be right about the whole suspension thing after all. Before I leave, he gives me a verbal estimate and I request the he write it down since I was planning to price shop. He kindly agrees and takes the time to carefully write out AND explain in detail what is likely a must AND what could possibly come up and result in an extra $20. Honesty in a mechanic's shop?! What?! So I take my little post-it estimate and come back a couple days later to drop off my car. The mechanic drives it and comes back to inform me that it's not the shocks, just a warped tire that should fix itself with a rotation. Well, what does that mean?? I now only have to pay 1/3 of my original estimate! Thank you GOD!! So, Roberto carefully explains the final quote AND the reason for the changes. The mechanic himself even comes in and explains what he notices while driving my car before Roberto does my quote. I pick up my car later that afternoon and drive happy :) I think I just found a reliable, trustworthy car shop. Ahhhh, God is good. :). Notes: Roberto is bilingual mechanic may or may not be detailers, I believe, are monolingual Detailing update -- Super cheap,but the products are overly harsh on your interior. 3 stars for that, but 5 stars for the elbow grease they put in and the good customer service. Just be careful with them cleaning your vinyl and dashboard display. Whatever they clean with stripped some numbers off of my A/C controls Update: They actually made a personal call to me a month or two ago to thank me for choosing them and took the time to see how things had progressed. I wish I could thank the mother of Zadiel Triana who took charge of my car; she did a lovely job raising a fine son. I had planned to buy a 99 Corolla from my mom and drive it back to NC but it started shimmying when I drove it. I felt great anxiety at going to a mechanic I knew nothing about in Miami, but based on the other Yelp review and ZRT's location, I took a deep breath and went in. Zadiel told me he thought it was the tires. I told him to check it out and I wanted complete tuneup. He stayed in communication with me, told me I may or may not need some hose or belt replaced (I didn't), and returned to me a washed and vacuumed perfect car with 4 new aligned tires and new wiper blades thrown in. I feel the price was reasonable. Now consider this: he knew I would be leaving town and couldn't return to complain. He knew I wouldn't be a repeat customer. Maybe I am cynical but I think that at other places those would have been red capes to a bull to do less than a superior job. Instead, I could not have gotten better service. I've never used the auto repair shop but I can tell you their hand car wash is one of the best ones I've been to in Miami. Be prepared to leave your car (recommended) or wait a while as they usually have a long line of cars but it's definitely worth it. read more

Went in to get my brakes repaired my dealer told me I needed new brakes urgently. When I went to pick up my car the repairman told me my brakes were fine and not in need of service at this time. Today I visited ZRT and it was a very positive experience. I need new tires for my Honda Element, but because I have been unemployed for over a year, I simply can't afford them. Also yesterday, my right front tire went flat with a nail and immediately flattened when I put air in it. Someone suggested I look for used tires.I looked on the internet and found this facility FORTUNATELY !! A young gentleman named Zadiel greeted me and I told him what my situation was. He evaluated my tires and suggested I just replace the flat tire, as their used tires tread was not significantly better than mine. I really appreciated his honesty and help. I replaced the flat tire with a used tire which actually had a bit better tread than mine. The tire cost only $30.00- total fee including taxes and installation. Also the wait time was not long at all. Given my experience I will definitely return here when I need any kind of service. Also there was another place I called and they charged $400.00 for a set of 4 used tires . Go figure! I highly recommend ZRT !! Mary Liz J read more
