Took my car in for an oil change. Had an appointment for 3:30. Took about an hour and waited in their lobby. It took them awhile to ring me out after the car was done, they may be short handed. They are not a jiffy lube and did not try to upsell me which was great. Everyone was nice and took care of my car. No real issues just slow. Otherwise everything was ok. read more

Always get my car serviced at Firestones. All around the country. Worst Firestone I've been to. Shouldn't be part of the brand. read more

This place is honest and efficient. If there is a wait, the counter attendant will say so and how long it will take. I've come here for oil changes and tire issues in the past. They take care of it right away and no appointment is necessary. They're open on Sundays too. Also, I've stopped by here on a cold winter morning when the "low tire pressure" light goes on. The friendly staff directed me to one of the garage bays. A helpful guy greeted me and checked all tire pressure. Turns out the frigid air caused a couple of the tires' air pressure to fall below desired levels. With a little air, the problem was fixed. The best part: no charge!! I don't usually go to Firestone, but my oil light saying 10% turned on and I was heading out of town and it was the weekend. So I got in at Firestone (50th L st)...I thought all was good, until i realized my heat shield under my car was bent. (took me a bit because it scraped when I parked at the dealership, and I usually back in)..So I was able to get it into my mechanic, who said who every changed your oil pulled the shield so they do the oil change instead of doing it the proper way. So not only did they damage my heat shield, like I said before I was at my car dealership because I wanted to see what equity I had in my car, guess what, they seen the heat shield (before I even did) and the offer on my car was less. So not only did it cost me over $100 for my oil changed, I lost more $$ for the equity of my car. DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!!! read more

We're traveling and called to make an appt for an alignment. We had purchased a lifetime alignment in Arizona. On Tuesday, we made an appt for today at 3pm. We had made plans with family so we dropped it off at noon and came back at 4:30. When we came back they told us they wouldn't be able to get to it today. Inexcusable. They didn't tell us when we brought it in. They didn't bother calling. We're supposed to leave for Arizona and wanted to make sure it was aligned before we made another long drive. read more

very untrustworthy. Never go there. bought my tires there with road hazard warranty. sensor light on dash indicating low tire. Stopped 3x to fill low tire. Took it in to Firestone to fix the tire. After a 2-hour wait was told the sensor was bad and needed replaced, thats why I was loosing air. drove 2 miles to work and come out to find low tire again. Paperwork said they replaced front left sensor and it was my right rear tire that was going flat. Took it back same night. After looking at the correct tire, found a staple gone through the tire. Was told i had to buy a new tire. I asked for that tire back and they said sure no problem. Got home and they put my spare tire in and kept the one I could have fixed. Went back next day and they already got rid of my other tire. Not only cheaters but liars also. read more

I'd give them zero stars if that was an option. I made an appointment for an oil change at Noon, at 6pm I called to find out if they were done yet and was told that they hadn't even started yet. I was assured that it would be done by the time they ope at 7 the next morning. I go to pick it up at 8 and they still had started. The last time I took my car in for an oil change they stripped the threads on the oil pan and had to replace the whole thing. The time before that they broke the oil cap. read more

People don't leave enough reviews for simple interactions with employees that go above and beyond. While traveling home for Thanksgiving I had a headlight go out, so I stopped in at this Firestone. To my luck a nice bearded guy ( who I believe was Marc), greeted me, took care of my issue with light speed and simply provided the quickest service I've ever had at auto shop. Thanks bud and I hope your kindness and generosity is returned to you ten fold... Also, if he isn't a manager, he should be and if he is a manger he ought to be a district manager. read more

I've taken my truck here twice now, but I've been going to Firestones for quite a long time now. The desk staff has been polite, direct, and prompt. When I've asked if a particular job can be completed in a certain time frame, they have been accurate in their predictions. This is Car Care. It is not rocket science, and it was not intended to be a mind-blowing interpersonal experience. I want things done correctly, honestly, and I want to be able to get my vehicle when I ask for it. in 2015 i made an appointment at this location for a full vehicle inspection, my appointment at 12 oclock, the inspection only takes 30min so i decided to wait in the lobby. an hour gone by and still my car didnt enter the shop, another hour gone by and still my car didnt enter the shop, more customer showed up after me and and left before me, 4 hours later thy finally start the inspection then 10 min later thy gave me the inspection result whitch was inaccurate. Very poor service. My car was making a noise and the left wheel on the front was shaking like crazy and had a knocking noise while driving. Without even looking, they told me that they have to open up the engine and would cost me $89.99. Then after I told them that the noise was coming from the wheel and not from the engine, they agreed to go the general inspection first. It cost me $22. I left the car overnight and after inspection they handed me a quote of around $3280. WTH?? They gave me bunch of reasons (none of them related to actual problem)... After paying 22 bucks and feeling cheated I went to The House of Mufflers and Brakes in 84th and Q. They immediately found out that the two bolts on the left wheel were broken and was making that sound. They told me that if I was even a day late I would have had a major accident. The wheel would have come off while driving. I fixed everything for just $160. So Firestone is horrible place to service your car. I had the same experience with Tire Plus later found out that they are the same company. Please avoid both TirePlus and Firestone if possible. Edit: Just sent the email to socialcare@bfrc.com with all the proof/receipts (as asked). Lets see what they have to say about it. Called in thought I had appointment at 11:00AM but guess not they pulled in my truck to change 2 back tires due to a blow out well hour and a half still sitting here!!!! How long does it take to change 2 tired if I didn't need them I would've left but on the road traveling so I'm stuck here !!!! Terrible service go else where if u could!!! read more

They were able to get me in quickly (faster than other shops) for a pre-purchase inspection. They were very thorough and Eric was helpful in explaining the results. It helped tremendously in making a decision about the vehicle and in talking with the dealer. read more

We took my fiancee's car to this location to have a water pump replaced. I dropped off the car at 7am saturday morning and was told it would be done some time in the afternoon. After numerous calls to get feedback (during which the person on the phone always said our car was getting pulled in now to start) we were asked if they could have it overnight if we received $40 off the quoted price. I accepted and called immediately Sunday morning to get a time estimate of completion. I was told noon and was called at 12:30 that the car was done. We picked up the car and drove it the 2 miles home. Upon arrival, I noticed that the car was spewing coolant everywhere and that in the few minutes to drive home, the car had lost most of its coolant and that the water pump housing was the source of the leak. We limped the car back to Firestone and the technician immediately started telling us how there was no way anything he did was wrong and that they had ran the car for over an hour prior to us picking it up. I also pointed out that the seat and backrest had grease and oil stains as well as grease and oil stains all over the floor. After speaking with the manager, they requested to keep the car an additional 2 days with no additional compensation. They did rent my fiancee a car although we had to go to the airport to pick it up. They kept the car all the way up through Tuesday night and when we picked it up they had put everything the had done to fix their mistake under the wrong name so now there is no computer record this all even happened. They lied again to us and told us they ran and drove the car for 2 hours after fixing their mistake. Funny thing was that the gas gauge never moved at all and was near empty when we took it to them Saturday morning. They confirmed they did not place any gas in the car so I know they lied about how long the car ran. The one thing I noticed from my time spent there was multiple people making complaints about wait times and courtesy. This place is a joke and I will never use Firestone for anything ever again. read more
