I have all my tires here and warranties they have no fucks to give i came in for a free wheel alignment tire rotation and battery check. I needed air put in my tires, and thought I'd stop at the Firestone on Enterprise Rd in Orange City, since it was on my way home. I pulled up to the bays and sat there waiting for one of the THREE mechanics to acknowledge me. Not one of them so much as looked at me, even though they could see me sitting there. I waited about two minutes then left. As I drove off, I said 'I just wanted air in my tires. Thanks!' So I went right down the street to Boulevard Tire and pulled up to their bay. One of the mechanics immediately came toward me, with a smile on his face, and asked what I needed. He aired up my tires and, as I ALWAYS do, I gave him a couple of dollars for his time and assistance. He smiled again and thanked me. Those people were scum. I brought my car in to be serviced in the morning, told them the AC fan wouldn't stop running and it was draining the battery. I didn't want to get locked out of my car if the fan drained the battery, but they told me they needed to have the keys while I waited. I waited for an hour, the battery went dead, locked out of the car, and they told me they couldn't work on the car now and I should just leave it in their parking lot andI was stranded. I requested they get a locksmith to fix the problem they started. Then they started yelling at me telling me it wasn't their problem, mind you this is 8am on a Sunday and I'd been driving and working all night. Don't take your car to those people, they literally tried to fight me after not wanting to take responsibility for leaving me stranded. I can't imagine what problems they'd hide if they hurt your car. I didn't get an apology, or anything. I'll never go to Firestone again after that experience. read more

Did not have the time to mention it to a manager as it was my work vehicle that needed a flat repair and I needed to be on the road already to Tampa. I have previously worked in the auto industry firestone being one, and I know the little tricks that some places do. After my visit and repair I couldn't help but notice chalk marks lined up with my valve stem and lining up with the smack weights on the rim. It is what it is, but I am disappointed to know that my truck was back there for the amount of time it was for them to do the tire repair, but not balance the tire. Atleast wipe off your chalk marks if you're going to do that. I can also see clearly the TPMS kit wasn't changed either. Just disappointed to see as I was held to a higher standard when I worked for the company. read more

Took my vehicle here yesterday to get my breaks looked at because they started to slightly grind. They told me I needed both rotors in the back replaced and new break pads on both. They quoted me almost $500. I left and went to auto zone and had the workers look at the rotors and they agreed with me that they were still in great shape. Still looked shiny and clean with hardly any wear on them. So I bought the new break pads at autozone and changed them myself. Took 15mins and only spent $48....... I had a Mass Air Flow Sensor put in my car by Firestone 2 years ago. Recently, my check engine light came on. I had a diagnostic done on my car and it came back with the numbers for the sensor and the sensor the dust I drove less than 4000 miles on that sensor.. I called the fire stone where I had it done three times and three times I was told the manager or the district manager was going to call me and never called me. I called back today asking for the manager told me the manager left asked for my phone number. I gave it to him and asked him for his name and he hung up. I paid $892 for the sensor and had to pay $898 to Nissan to have it replaced. I was under the impression that a Nissan product was going to be put in my car and instead I got a knock off from Taiwan.. I had my car checked out before I took it to Nissan and the diagnostic code was the same P0171 came up and when I went to Nissan the same code which is the mass flow sensor came up so of course I had to have it replace.Some vehicles have to have the brand name parts not a knock off and mine is 1 of them. Firestone should've known that. I took the sensor with me and had someone else check it out with the diagnostics machine it definitely is dead.I feel they owe me my money back. I bought 4 tires from them and the air kept coming out of one. I have the roadside insurance on them yet they charge me $54 for a new one. read more

My truck wasn't stopping correctly. I took it in to Firestone. They told me it was the master cylinder and charged me $700 to replace it. The repairs took 6 hours. Turns out it was not the problem. So I spent $700 and they didn't even fix the issue. They even test drive it after so they should of known it wasn't fixed. NEVER again will I go to Firestone, not even for an oil change. I asked for a service to be done while the tires were being replaced, Firestone did not do the requested service. I called to schedule to have it completed and I was given a price for them to do it. I took the time to bring the car back to them to complete the service they failed to do and I was given a different price- $100 more then quoted on the phone just a few days earlier. The man at the service counter would not honor the price I agreed to with the man on the phone just a few days earlier. So they completely ignored this service on my original drop off day so they could make more money by having me come back in and having it completed. Well, where do I start. My 88 year old mom's older model Toyota broke down and she had to call AAA to tow it. She had no one to call as I was on vacation at the time and she lives by herself. The only place she could think of was Firestone so that's where they took her and the car. She sat at Firestone for 5 hours until they finally could give her an answer on what needed to be done. She kept going up to the desk and they couldn't give her an answer and let her sit there most of the day. She ended up having to take a taxi home because the car was not going to be ready. They told her that she needed a new starter and a few spark plugs to the tune of $988 !! Really!!! I know a lot of mechanics and they all told me this was outrageous and they took her for a ton of $$$$ When she taxied back to Firestone the next day, they came out and told her she also had a leak and it would cost $150.00 more to fix that too! After telling them no to not fix the leak she would bring it somewhere else they said they could do it for $50.00 instead of the $150.00! REALLY?!?!?! An 88 year old woman you are trying to scam! I am so infuriated over this. Not one person asked how she was doing while she was sitting there. She was so scared because she never had to deal with a car issue since my dad passed away. I just can't believe the way she was treated and the the money they scammed off of her. She lives on a fixed income and to be treated like this is just heartbreaking. My mechanic told me the total cost for the new starter and a few spark plugs at the most should have been $550.00 and no more. I was on a long road trip and I stopped in Orlando for a synthetic oil change at a place that rhymes with Iffy Boob. About an hour later I'm hearing terrible noises from the car that got worse with speed. It was super hot out, just me and my cat, but I pulled over on the expressway because it sounded bad. Evidently the Iffy Boob folks forgot to reattach a long plastic (about 4ft) manifold that was flapping around, tearing itself up under the car hitting things and fluid was now spewing out. In a panic I yelped the nearest auto repair and got really lucky ending up here. I didnt wait at all they have like 10 bays, and Chad put it up on the racks and diagnosed the car for me immediately! He got me back on the road faster than a Nascar pit stop and I am SO super thankful! I wish there was a Chad and a Firestone in my home town because I would be their customer for life! read more

I've been dealing with local Orange city/Sanford auto repair shops for 20 years. 1st time I've felt like writing a positive review. I gather I'm not a premium customer. I will look else where If I don't get the respect I expect. I can do my own work with in reason. If I can't do it myself I use one shop or another. I look for a shop I feel I can trust. New cars help avoid them all together but everyone needs a shop at some point. Firestone Orange City has my regained my respect. They did exactly as expected. I took my car to Fire Stone- Orange City, FL. to have it looked at due having issues with the car since they put 4 new tires on my car a month ago, my traction and hill light was staying on. I did not have a ride to pick me up, so I was willing to wait. He told me it would be 2 hours or so, I said no problem. After sitting there for over 4 hours I inquired what the status of my car was. the mechanic came in and tells me he cant find anything wrong with the car, that other diagnostic test needed to be ran. So I ask him why I wasn't told this a while ago so he could get it done, and in a arrogant manner I was told they were busy. So I guess Im not busy? I will NEVER GO HERE again, they are incompetent and rude. I sat there for over 4 hours and seen how they treated customers, as if everyone was a bother to them. They stopped taking customers at 12:30pm and they are open until 7pm. The only one that was nice was the female that the manager kept yelling at all day. (I sat there for over 4 hours so I got an ear full). I have contacted corporate office and filed a complaint. Oh did I tell you they told me to take my car elsewhere, or to the dealership? Is this how Firestone operates? They advertise as a "complete auto repair" store. I will be taking my car elsewhere and when I get the confirmation that they messed up my sensors when they put my tires on they can pay that bill. I hate to even give them a 1 star. I gave them two stars because TOM and CHAD have always been very courteous and professional. When my son and I dropped off his car this morning to have the tires replaced and the oil changed, service advisor CHRIS asked if he could take advantage of my son not needing the car back right away. My son, who is 18, said "no rush."I, on the other hand, said, "We need to pack tonight because you're leaving for college tomorrow morning". It is now 4:50 PM, CHRIS just called my son and said the car would be ready by 7 PM. I was standing closer to CHRIS than my son was when I said "We have to pack tonight, you're leaving for school tomorrow". I don't know what part of that CHRIS did not understand. When I called CHRIS back, and asked him why it was 7 PM, if he thought that was really reasonable, he said, "Well, your son said...", Completely ignoring what I told him. I asked CHRIS if he had college-age children, which he said, "No." I asked him if he thought It was reasonable to start packing at 7:30 at night when we got home from picking up my son's car. He just kept going back to "Your son said it was no rush". I am a reasonable person. We dropped the car off at 8:15 AM, I thought 3 PM would be great, 5 PM would be reasonable. 7 PM IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I didn't even realize Firestone was open till 7 PM. I honestly don't know why my family keeps going back to Firestone. When we had my daughter's tires put on a few years back, they were bouncing all over the road and the service advisor at that time, told me it was because the steel rims were bent. I said it was because there was 5 to 7 weights on each tire. It was the 5 to 7 weights. Once we had the tires replaced and re-balanced, We never had a problem with her car again. When I went in for oil changes, they just didn't rotate the tires when I asked them to. And then when my tires got worn, they said, "We can't rotate them, we can only replace them now." When I was shopping for tires to replace the ones that were not rotated, Firestone's quote for four new tires for my car were more expensive than the dealership. Everyone knows the dealership is the most expensive. I have written maybe two reviews on yelp. I just don't think it's worth my time to tell people what I think. I am done with Firestone. I pulled in to this Firestone tire center in Orange City Fl. because I had a tire going flat and needed to get it fixed, It was 6:00 pm an hour before they close. I waited for about 10 minutes before the manager Chris came in and the first thing he said is we are not taking anymore customers. I said but my tire is going flat and needs repaired. again he said we are not taking anymore customers. Now there were other customers there and I realize they would come first, but all he had to say was i have people ahead of you but i will get your tire fixed since its going flat.( aka customer service). Luckily there was a tire Kingdom around the corner and they were cleaning up and getting ready to close for the night. They said no problem we will fix it for you. They jumped right on it and fixed my tire which had a 4 inch bolt/screw in it and they had to take the tire off the rim to fix it. They never once complained and were so much more professional. Come to find out they had a special and it only cost me 11.50 to fix it. I would not recommend going to Firestone in Orange City Florida. Their customer service is horrible and that is because of their Manager Chris. i will be calling corporate and making a complaint against This store and the Manager. I am also a retired Fire Fighter and I know a lot of fireman and their family's in the Central Florida area that always need car work done. I will be spreading the word DO NOT go here. Never in all my years, especially in the car care industry have I been taken care of so well!! Not only with honoring my recalled tires(which had supposedly been remedied by the Brentwood, (northern) California firestone location); Orange City, FL, manager Chris Thompson along with Tom Smith were beyond accommodating and went out of their way to make a very wrong situation right! They listened to me, researched and back tracked through the paperwork of all I had gone through and took it upon themselves to make sure I was completely informed and aware of what and how they were planning to fix things. (including personally eating the costs for someone else's mistakes). It was a priority to them that the Firestone name was not tarnished by my most recent experience and I was reassured of how Firestone really DOES and is SUPPOSED TO DO BUSINESS. BOTH of these employees reminded me that there still are good and honest people still left in this industry, and ones you can actually trust! I was treated with the utmost respect, integrity and compassion! Right down to the helpful employee Chad Gilmore in the lobby who took the time to help me navigate their free wifi ~ this place IS the WHOLE package! The most impressive was their honesty and how they completely shoot you the STRAIGHT SCOOP! Even one of their technitions, Danny Wolinski, took the time to show me by diagram and scale A reading of how the numbers SHOULD read, how they were NOT reading, what the CAUSE of it was, and HOW he calibrated them to be correct. HE took the time, because I happened to ask and inquire, and he knew I WAS interested in learning the how and the why of it all! Yes, if you haven't already guessed I AM female, yet, have a good bit of knowledge in regards to car maintenance, and the care needed to keep a vehicle on the road for a long time, due to the kind of work I do. Still, ladies, and males for that matter, if you're reading this review, take note, - This place knows what they are doing!!! You will be treated fairly, taken seriously, and not be disappointed by the job they do! My car actually runs more smooth than the day I bought it!! We purchased tires through this Orange City location and it has been nothing but problems. Today was the final straw. I will never go to this location again. We dropped off the our Van today at 11am (our appointment time) for a normal tire rotation which is free with us purchasing tires from this location. We went and picked it up at 3pm, because they said it was done. My wife drove the van home, so when we got home I noticed that nothing was rotated. I called them and they talked to the technician he admitted he did not do any work because their policy is to leave the best tires on the back (which after a long discussion we both agreed that was dumb in this situation). We have a tire wearing in the front and we needed to move a good tire to the front. Long story short, they lied and said all the work was done until I called them on it and then they said yes we did nothing, but did not tell you. That says a lot for this place, because we have wondered in the past if actual work was done, but could not verify it until today. We will never go to this place. I don't normally post reviews, but this place has been horrible since day one. I just can't believe they lied right to our face. Wasted our day and everything for nothing. read more
