I feel like this place has had some negative reviews, so I need to share my positives! I purchased tires here for my Honda Civic. I found a coupon online, had them ordered, brought the car in and was in and out in a few hours. Service was excellent. The person at the counter gave me some useful information on my tires tread, what to expect in certain driving conditions etc.. all in all, good experience, no complaints! Fast forward nine months later. Coming back from Mt. Rainier I hit something that destroyed my tire, like actually put a gaping hole in it! It was 5:30 when we got into Puyallup and the store closed at 6:00. I knew I'd be cutting it very close! I needed to get this fixed, because I was driving to Bellingham the following morning and did not want to be stuck doing 50mph in the slow lane on my spare! The woman at the counter was very helpful. They took my tire in at 5:45, luckily they were able to patch it for me. It did take some time, but the point of the story is I was still there at almost 6:30 when they were CLOSED, but they made sure to fix my tire for me while I waited. They easily could have said "We're closing soon, come back tomorrow," but they didn't, without hesitation they fixed it! Also, my key fob was cracked, I was waiting on the new one from Amazon to deliver that same week. The guy who fixed my tire also took the time to tape up my key fob so when I put my key in the ignition, it didn't break off. Overall the customer service has really been top notch! I appreciate all their efforts! read more

This was my first time using this firestone and it most likely won't be my last. I called today and got a same day appointment for 3:30 to repair my tire. I ended up being 20 min late and they still did the job pretty quickly. I was out by 4:30 and I have 0 complaints. read more

I went to Firestone because I got ripped off at Les Schwab. I needed an alignment check and decided to go with their lifetime option. The next time I went in, I needed to get two tires mounted and balanced. They refused because the tires were not brand new. Irritating, but not a huge deal. I got the tires mounted and balanced elsewhere then came back for the alignment. They wouldn't do the alignment. The reason was there was so much wear to the front end (ball joints, tie rod ends & track bar) that they couldn't do it. They gave me a quote for $1475.77. What they didn't recognize... was all those parts were brand new as I'd just spent $3000 redoing the front end which ate the tires that were on there... which was the reason I had to put two used (matching) tires on the front in the first place. So, they could have lied about something questionable in an effort to steal from me... but they didn't even bother to tell a good lie. I've filed a complaint with the State attorney general. Probably won't amount to much but at least they will have the history of fraud on file. read more

I spent $1001 on tires with a 50000 mile limited warranty and a battery here. After 6000 miles my low air pressure light came on. I returned to what I though would be to fix a flat or to get air. They told me I needed to buy tires again due to a bulge. I see no bulge and the tires still look new. They want to charge me another $550 for new tires with only a 40000 mile limited and would not warranty the existing tires. They are scam artists. read more

recently got Oil Change here, overall was pleased with it (Although they did had trouble getting the Change Oil message to not come on when I started my car) they were fast on the oil change, and did a check on everything else. I was also impressed that they used recycled tires that was broken down to little pieces for their landscaping instead of using bark like most places do, thought that was pretty cool. read more

The employees were friendly, but I had to return twice for my alignments with brand new rims and tire sets. I had to return and get it done again because it keep pulling to the right. I have been bringing my 2016 Chevrolet Silverado to this location for two years. There have been a couple of times where I have emergencies and they fit me in to take care of me. My mother who is 73 went to Firestone with a nail in her tire. The nail was in middle of the tread and could have been repaired. They just filled the tire with air and wrote her an estimate for 4 new tires. By the next day the tire was driven on flat and ruined. I just feel they try to get as much money out of people as possible. I do not recommend them unless you want to spend a lot of money. Also they will tell you every time that your brakes are bad. read more

We made an appointment for a Saturday at 10:00 am over a week in advance. We live ways out, so my husband and I each drove so we could leave my car there so they could check out a front end shimmy. After dropping it off, we ran some errands in the area. We thought it strange no one had called to give us an update and get our verbal ok for any work that needed to be done. We went back 3 hours later and they hadn't even touched the car. I understand things happens if, but what was absolutely unacceptable was how combative the Customer Service rep was. "Let me tell how you how it is- this is like a doctor office..." Instead of apologizing he was condescending, rude and a flat out bully. And the whole "doctor office" reference was BS. I've never waited for 3 hours if I've made an appointment. EVER. Don't schedule appointments if you have no intention of honoring the time slot! The only reason they get one star is because I had to leave one in order to write the review. We took our business and went right next door to Les Schwab, and they seemed a lot more eager to help. read more

I came here in Feb. 2021 for a brake job front and back. Came back cuz there was a noise. They told me I needed struts and were willing to order them right then and charge me $3000 for the job. Come to find out, it wasn't my struts just a lose piece of plastic under my car. Fast forward to May 2021. For the last month my brakes have been sounding rough. Finally took it somewhere else and showed us everything. My rotors were never replaced. But I was charged for new ones. My brakes were metal on metal. Everyone has told me they take advantage of the women for knowing very little. I paid to upgrade my dim bulbs to the brightes possible and they have gone out twice now in less than 3 months time. I paid for lifetime alignments but afraid to take it back for fear they will break something and say it needs replacing to just pull more money out of me. I would give them negative stars if possible. read more

My wifes acura TL had a leak on the steering fluid hose where the top clamp attaches. I had my wife drop it off while she was getting her nails done to be fixed. They called her and told her that the fluid was also down at the steering pump seal (because it leaked from the hose above it) they told her it would cost $950 to replace the hoses, the steering pump and all seals and they added on the engine belt for good measure. I called and spoke with them and asked why does the belt need replaced as well and his response is, " i dont know, its just what were recommending" clearly they saw a young lady come through the front door and tried to prey on her lack of knowledge of her car engine and scam her out of as much money as they could squeeze. Highly recommend finding another more reputable company. Hope this saves some of you time and money. read more

Asked hem to have the brakes bled. Got my truck back the exact same. I'm not saying the didn't do the job correctly, but there was still an issue. It could be a result of a bad brake cylinder, needs to be diagnosed. In my opinion, you shouldn't return the vehicle back to the customer when it's still having the same issue. The problem should be diagnosed, an a supplement should be written. It should be up to the customer to decide on the repairs. I had my money returned and I appreciated that. Customer service was up to par. Just wish they would of done it right the first time, or even just diagnosed the problem and not of return the vehicle in the same order as it was brought in. read more

I would be careful dealing with this location for when I took my car in to get new front brakes and rotors last month, they told me that my car needed new tires on the front. My front tires look brand new and are only 2 years old, they said that the tread was low, that wasn't true. Along with about 2,000 worth of other repairs to the front end of my car they said needed to be done, nothing is wrong with the front end. I used to work in a shop... They do good work, but it's not a place I will take my cars to get an honest inspection. I researched prior lawsuits with firestone and noticed many violations, I guess that's how firestone works. They have a bad reputation in my circle. read more

Took my tahoe in for tire rotation and alignment. They told me that before the alignment i needed 1500 dollars worth of work to replace steering components. Took it to two other shops, both said the front end was fine. Dont trust them if they say you need work. read more

The people here are friendly as I've taken my car here a couple times for the routine oil change. While I was out of town, my wife brought our car here for a diagnosis since the battery light went on. They informed my wife that the "alternator and battery were weak." When I got home a couple days later, I popped the hood and noticed the corrosion on the battery terminals and thought how could they have possibly tested the battery and alternator without first cleaning the terminals, to get a good reading. I replaced the battery because it obviously needed replacing after a visual inspection. Did all the necessary voltage testing after battery replacement and all checked out good. I'm not sure where to go now. You can't find anywhere with a high level of integrity. Just be careful! read more

Needed a heater core flushed on a 2002 rendezvous, they have a special price in their system just for that work on this vehicle. Got there on time, they took it in and tried to do a complete service even though I scheduled just for the heater core, reluctantly took it in, mechanic opened the hood then did a vent check; mgr asked why I wanted it done and I said because that it what I want done. then the smug idiot tells me the heater vents are fine and there is no reason to flush the heater core, so now that I am irritated I tell him if they don't want the work I will find someone who does, they pull the car out and I get the name of the regional person. So here is the real issue; Mechanic writes down that the lines are not accessible (which is why there is a special price on the core, he just didn't know how to do it) Mgr tells me he was only trying to save me money and did not want to do un-necessary work (mfg recommends specifically core be flushed at the mileage we are at) and finally the regional guy says that my request was not normal and it was too much risk for them to take; So who do you believe? The mechanic that did not want to do the work or the Manager who was covering for the mechanic that did not want to do the work or the regional guy that says changing fluids is just too risky a business for them do take on. These guys really have no business running a franchise operation, its makes everyone look like simpletons. read more

I took my 2013 Kia to the dealership for it's scheduled maintenance. The dealership told me the rear brakes needed the pads changed. They had a coupon which would bring the price down to $144. They didn't have time to change the brake pads right then, and I didn't hear any squealing from the wear tabs, so I decided to wait. 7000 miles later I took the car back to the dealership. I gave them the coupon and they said it would be $144 plus $80 to resurface the rotors. I looked online and found that Firestone had a coupon for $99 which INCLUDED resurfacing the rotors. I made an appointment and took my car in. The facility is nice. And of course there is free coffee and wifi. I was very comfortable while I waited. When they called me to the front they told me that I had a tire which they recommended repairing as it was at 17 PSI. The repair would be $19. I told them that was fine. They called me back a bit later and said they couldn't find a leak, so if it lost air later, just bring it back. Then they told me that my break pads were still at 5mm and did not need to be replaced yet!! I thanked them and pulled out my credit card, and they said there was no charge. I was so happy to find an auto repair center with honest mechanics. I will definitely be coming back when it really is time to change my breaks! read more

Been to this location twice now and been satisfied each time. I've worked with both Dan and Corey who both provide excellent customer service and communication and customer service skills. What I really enjoy about this company is the fact that they have an advanced POS/data entry system so you can electronically receive receipts, copies of the work that's been done, and they will send you email reminders, which as a busy mom of three small kids I really love!! I also really like how they can give you a quote on the service, repair and they can save it in their system so that other people can view it. I also enjoy how when I call in they can automatically bring up my history based on the caller ID and my phone number, that's amazing because it's just one step less I have to do. Firestone as a company has came a long ways in the past 10 years!! They are definitely setting the bar higher than a lot of their competitors these days read more

I have had about 5 visits with this particular Firestone branch. I have nothing but good things to say. They are a descent bunch that work there and they seem not to be wierded out if you watch them work on your vehicle. I have lost confidence in Firestone. I took my wife's minivan there for tires. They replaced them and informed me that the TPMS was damaged by their tech and they replaced it for free however they couldn't figure out how to turn off the sensor now since they replaced it. I took it immediately to the Honda dealer and they confirmed it was damaged and installed improperly they fixed it. I figured I would give them another shot so I took my truck there for a simple plug for a puncture on the tread. I watched them work on the truck closely due to the last incident. They plugged the tire very quickly but I began to wonder why it was taking so long (over an hour and half). Turns out the tech couldn't figure out why the tire pressure light was on. He then took the truck for a drive and came back and told me the manual says to drive it for 20 minutes for the system to register the air pressure. I jumped in and saw they didn't inflate enough (32 psi). I showed them the sticker on the door jamb that showed 35 psi was needed and he said "oh I thought was 32". If I didn't know better I would have been driving around witth underinflated tires which is a clear safety concern. With 2 kids under 6 years old this is not acceptable. They are supposed to be the expert. I can't trust them anymore. They were nice about it but the reality is they dont know what they are doing. read more

OMG! I'm fifty and yes I said OMG! I have been a customer of the competitor for many years. They sell beef too apparently. I needed tires on 2 of my automobiles. I have 3 others. One is a commercial truck. So I go through a lot of tires. I went to Les Schwab and they were rude again. Didn't care at all that I was a customer, much less one who has been going there so long. Manager was a jerk. I had just lost my job of 16 years and was devastated. I mentioned that to him as I awaited for the quotes. He showed zero emotion. Didn't even comment. I took the quotes and quietly walked out. I looked across the way and saw a Firestone. New to this location. I got in my car and drove over. I walked in the door and was greeted with a smile and a hello. Within seconds I had gotten better customer service then I did all those years with those other guys. I went on to explain I was a LS customer but tired of their rudeness etc. I asked if she could help me with quotes. She did, quickly and with a superb personality. While waiting, small talk, I mentioned I had lost my job. 16 years yada yada. I was blown away with the compassion. You could tell she cared. I took quotes and looked them over. Lower than LS. Nice. I went home. Decided I wanted the work done and called. Friendly again. I set up a time and arrived. Corey was nothing short of amazing. You could feel his heart.Brendon and Nate too. They knew I was unemployed and did everything they could to help me. They listened. They sympathized. I was quite simply.....blown away. The tires were put on quickly and I watched as they even checked the car over. I thought they did just tires. Nope. Full service. Those folks there were helpful, compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly and downright awesome. I left there, moved by their performance. So much so that I brought my wife's car the next day and got all new tires on that car. They were even better, if that's even possible!! Again they tried to save me money. Again they listened to my concerns, not just on tires, but life. They listened to my life and showed such grace in their compassion. You know.....yes I spent almost $1000.00 those two days. Yes it was business but they made it so much more. Losing your job after 16 years is traumatic and I was feeling down and beaten, then I had to spend money I really didn't have but the way those folks there treated me and how they lifted me I will be forever grateful. You made me smile and laugh and gave me hope. A thank you is not nearly enough but it is all I have. This company, amazing starts from the top because I called to praise those people and the manager/supervisor guy was equally incredible. I felt his heart too that day on the phone and if he is reading this I want him to know.....you made a difference in my life.....you all did. I am a customer for life and I will spread the word like wildfire. My family thanks you. People, do yourself a favor. You need not go anywhere for your auto needs except Firestone. If this type of service is company wide, which I suspect it is, you will be blown away. read more

I have to give this operation a 5 star review. Because, even on a Saturday I needed an alternator replaced in my 2004 truck and they were scheduling for service right then. I would have thought I would not get my truck until Monday. Since I was waiting for a couple hours during lunch Cory gave me a hamburger since I had nothing to eat. This place use to be good. Customer service and car service was top notch. They dropped my daughter's car off the lift and I still went back. They then were extremely condescending to my wife when we picked up her car. When we refused one of their add on services, they actually said "well if you don't want to take care of you car....". That was uncalled for and said in a condescending tone. We wrote to their corporate office and heard absolutely no response. This was it for my wife. She refused to go back. Yet I went back again. Third time is it for me. This time I went to drop my car off for an oil change. They asked if I had an appointment or dropping it off. I told them I was dropping it off and will pick it up the next day. Done this for years. Went to pick up my car and it was not done. 25 hours they had my car and they didn't do the oil change. If they were too busy then they should have said so. I would not have been mad at all, but they held my car for over a day. They didn't even apologize for the issue. They told me they were busy on the weekends and should have made an appointment. The customer service at this place has gone from excellent to nonexistent. We have been Firestone customers for a long time but this was the first time we used this store. I had me daughter take her car in for two new tires. the salesman first told her she would could not get the tire without an appointment. Then after that was resolved he only wanted to sell her four tires not two even though two of the tires were only 3 month old. He continued to push the purchase of all four tires to the point my daughter called me on the phone. Needless to say I had my daughter down the road to Discount tire and got great service and the tires requested. Not Happy read more
