Firestone did a free brake check after my dealership said I needed new front brakes immediately and soon would need new rear. Firestone said I don't need new brakes at all on the front and the back ones were even a bit more worn and would need to be replaced before the front. Not only that, she SHOWED me the brakes herself and I saw with my own eyes the depth on the front and rear and she was absolutely correct. This taught me to ALWAYS get a second opinion, that this shop is HONEST and not just out there for the all-mighty dollar. I will be a return customer! read more

This place is the worst. Charged my son for a oil change and didn't do the work. Checked his oil for him, it was black as heck 2 days later. My granddaughter as well brought her car there. Changed her oil . Left a piece off didn't reconnect. Sloppy work repeatedly, then had the nerve to sit there and lie. Old spill about our certified mechanic blah, blah, blah. I needed new tires and this was a facility nearby my house. I wanted to keep my business local vs. buying off the internet at Tire Rack. I paid a premium for the tires and when I arrived they informed me that they were not able to do an alignment on my vehicle. My previous tires didn't show signs of uneven wear. 7000 miles later my rear tires are toasted! I returned and the manager said they would give me a credit for new tires IF my alignment was in specs (after 7000 miles, with no baseline?) The alignment is out now. No credit, need to buy another set of tires-$650. Decided not to give this business another dollar of my money. Went elsewhere to buy another set more expensive and have the alignment done. This business had no problem taking my money and send me elsewhere for an alignment, they should've turned away the business if they couldn't do the job properly! read more

Front tire bulged badly a couple days before. I told my wife she could run it up there to have the two new tires I'd had sent to the house installed. We called first, they had the time and said as long as they weren't used tires. I only let her go up there because it's 2 miles from the house, as the front tire would blow any time. She gets there, only to be turned away because the new unused tires (with stickers and all) weren't brand new (as in date of manufacture). They were a few years old. Been sitting on a shelf. Perfectly good unused Michelins. Instead of just mounting the tires, doing her oil change and calling it a day, they turned my wife and 3 year old daughter away in what was clearly a safety situation. A totally unnecessary move based on laziness. I don't need a corporate response to this review. Any company or employee who'd turn away a woman and a baby in that situation rather than take 20min to mount the new tires she showed up with, is not, under any circumstances, a company I would ever use, let alone recommend. Oh, and before they turned her away they informed her they "couldn't" program the TPMS sensors. They did find time to try and push an alignment and whatever else on her though. This place is for the birds. A mile down the road she's having the tires mounted and balanced, the sensors taken care of and the oil change - all for less anyway. Good job Firestone. read more

I got a fast tire leak and went to Firestone Citrus Park on a Sunday 12/26/2021 at about 4pm, (they are open till 5). The advisor- Ryan tells me they can't fix the tire until Monday, (the next day). So with a totally flat tire sitting right in front of the place I have to call roadside assistance. While waiting for assistance another customer shows up and they take him in and service his car, (all while I'm waiting for roadside assistance). They finish his car and he leaves so I ask Ryan why he fixed the other guy's tire when he wouldn't fix mine, he says the other guy tipped him $50. So apparently you have to tip these guys to get service. This company does not care about their customers. They had no regard to my immediate problem. They even watched the roadside assistance guy change my flat tire. Stay away! Unfair business practice! read more

I've taken several cars here over the years and have always had a good experience. Service is quick, but keep your expectations low if you book an appointment on the weekend. It will likely will take all day, but I wouldn't want them to rush work on my car anyway. I even had a feral kitten stuck underneath my car once and they removed it at no charge. read more

I went to Firestone Auto Center in Citrus Park for a new battery in May of 2018. I paid $112.87 and was told that it had a 3 year full replacement and 5 year pro-rate warranty. The battery died this weekend and would not hold a charge, so I went back expecting the battery to be under full warranty. They told me it was only a 2 year warranty, meaning that it was pro-rated instead. I explained that I have kept meticulous service records for 20 years on my car so I know what I was told, and actually wrote it down on the receipt. They would not honor the full warranty, so basically they called me a liar. After "pro-rating" and installation, I was charged $117.00. This was more than the original battery. The excuse was that "battery prices have gone up". Hello? What the hell do you think a warranty is for? So you are protected from price increases. Plus, they charged me $30 for installation, which I could have done myself it they had let me. Why should the customer be charged for installing a product under warranty. That's their responsibility, not mine. I examined my old receipt. My old battery was "MT51R", and it specifically states on their warranty sheet that MT5 series batteries have a 30 month full warranty. So, I showed them and they told me that I had an MT, not MT5, and MT batteries are only 24 months. However, on the warranty sheet it says MT-, with a dash. When I pointed this out, they said that they don't sell MT5, only MT. So, they're telling me that they include a battery on the warranty sheet that they do not sell? I called Firestone corporate to file a complaint. I was told I would be contacted by the District Manager within 48 hours. Instead, I get a call from the store. I'm told to come back to the store to get a refund. When I get there I get the same song and dance! They've not only ripped me off but now they've wasted my time too. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. I am positive person so I rarely review negatively. This firestone is the MOST expensive car repair shop on the planet. They wanted to charge me 52 usd for oil change for Camry 09. In the other Firestone they only charge around 32 usd. I asked him why so expensive he said Toyota recommended special oil. Nice joke. Stadium toyota will charge around 27 usd-30 usd for oil change only so are they saying that the dealership is doing unrecommended oil! I got my radiator replaced and they charged me $1500 for this. At somewhere else it should be 300-500 max to replace the radiator. Super rip off. I was a customer there for a few times but now I make sure my family and friends not come here for car service. read more

6/6/2015, 156,384 miles - purchased 4 new tires for my Ford F-150 pickup. They ordered the tires and I left it for the day. They called me up later and suggested that I get a front end alignment, flush the cooling system, flush the transmission, flush the brake system, flush the rear-end . . . I hate when they do that! I did do the front end alignment as the front tires were wore pretty bad. Almost $900. Several days later I noticed the right rear tire squatting down so I aired it up. Then I was out of town for a week on my motorcycle. Came back to an almost flat tire again on right rear. 6/20/2015, 156,400 miles - took back to Firestone because the right rear tire kept going down. They looked at it but was hesitant to since I did not purchase the road hazard. My comment was, "2 weeks and 16 miles?" They looked at it but could not find the leak. Replaced the black rubber valve stem with a chrome one. Now I have 3 black rubber valve stems and one chrome one. No charge. The following week family and I took a trip to north GA for vacation in that truck. Every other day I had to fill up that tire. Spent about 4 or 5 dollars at gas stations. 7/5/2015, 158,144 miles - took it back again for the leak. This time they found it. On the sidewall where there is a molded rib in the tire, there was about an inch long area where air was seeping out. Could not see any damage or split. They showed it to me and right away my comment was, "That is a defective tire." They stated that they would replace the tire "free of charge". I had to leave it overnight so they could get the new tire ordered and installed. Went the next day and got my truck, but the "free of charge" turned into almost $21 for the balance, new valve stem (#3) and mounting. They said the "free of charge" was for the tire itself. Wrote to Firestone/Bridgestone Corporate Office and to this store. About a week later this store did give me my money back. Never heard squat from the Corporate Office. My complaint: This store is all friendly and smiles when they want to sell you something. However, when it is time for their Customer Service side to appear, the Lawyers show up instead. They acted as if they were doing me a favor when I brought the truck back within a few weeks with a slow leak. Never once apologized for any inconvenience. Never admitted that the tire was defective or could possibly be defective. They showed no empathy for a customer that was growing more frustrated after spending almost $900 for tires. read more

I am never returning to this facility. Not just because of the consistent errors they have made, but also the irresponsible attitudes and cowardly responses the employees have taken in response to these errors. They have broken two of my tire locks, because their employees do not read the manuals and use drills where the lock is specifically only used by hands. A lazy error repeated in how they have broken multiple of my oil pans. The greatest offense is when they broke the door of my glove compartment, then held the car for extra time so they could glue the door hinge together and dry before I picked up my car. After having my car all day, the glue still had not dried and I noticed the way my glove compartment door hung and wouldn't close. They failed to inform me about this. When I noticed, they were insistent that the mechanics had no recollection of breaking it, and insistent that the glue was dry, which is was not because it was all over my fingers. A mechanic had probably leaned on the door, broken the hinge so that is hung out of the compartment, then tried to glue it back together. The lack of integrity of the mechanics in their refusal to acknowledge their error and clear lack of respect for customers is pitiful business. Never come here. read more

Husband took his car in for an oil change on a Saturday. Two days later (Monday) he goes to the dealer for something unrelated and they inform him there is a massive oil leak in the car. Service Date: 5/13/2013 Repair: replace cam position sensor This shop is a rip-off, they will charge for a aftermarket part as a genuine Mopar part, plus their markup. They installed a $45 part (price from Auto Zone) and charged me $90. The genuine Mopar part cost $75, retail. On top of this they knew aftermarket parts are not always good, and sure enough the part flew off a day later. I went back and the I was told that aftermarket parts are "temperamental" (quoting the service rep), and needed to be replaced with the genuine part. At first the service rep told me that he was going to charge me for the difference, but a quick phone call to the dealership to check on the retail price prompted me to complain about the price, and few minutes later I was told that it was going to be a washed. That is very dishonest business. I don't recommend this shop, but if you need to use it ensure they use genuine part; after all they are charging us for the part as it was genuine. As far I'm concern, I will not come back to this place and I will discourage anyone I know to use it. read more

I arrived at the scheduled time for my appointment, and didn't have to wait for my vehicle servicing to begin. They were professional, and suggested out the repairs my vehicle, and those which were recommended, and allowed me to choose whatever I wanted out of the recommended. I know this sounds trite, but they were not pushy at all, and I really appreciated the fact that I did not have to push back for anything. Also, their return estimate was good, and in fact my vehicle was ready 20 minutes before their estimated time. Since I had chosen to wait at the shop, this was a big plus for me as well. read more

I had a check engine light on and asked the teller if they could do a courtesy check to make sure I didn't pay $130 for an engine diagnostic exam for something small that could be easily fixed, he said he couldn't and would have to run the test to see what was wrong with it. Called me later on to tell me the gas cap was lose!!! What a rip off. I found out after the fact that AutoZone will do a courtesy check for free, I should have taken my car there. We brought my son's 2006 Toyota Camry in on 12/13/18 because it was not starting. Firestone evaluated the car and told us it needed over $2300 in repairs that turned out to be FALSE. They recomended a new head gasket, a new thermostat, a $256 "specialty oil change", new coolant $78, mind you they wanted $1883 in LABOR ALONE. These people are absolute CROOKS. We took the car to a local reputable mechanic we have used for years and he said "the car needs brake pads". It started fine and never needed any repairs. This is absolute fraud and I will make it my job to tell everyone I know how FIRESTONE in CITRUS PARK tried to rip us off for almost $3000 in repairs the car never needed. It seemed pretty ridiculous to me that a Toyota with less than 75,000 miles could need such extensive work. Thanks JOE but no thanks.
