They are not parts swappers, but true technicians who diagnose and repair the issue. Ali and his team are the best. Although they are 40 minutes away from me, it is still the place I drive to, and get my issues troubleshooted and repaired. I go to a place close to me for things like oil changes, but if they recommend major repairs, I always take it to Atlas Auto for a 2nd opinion. I've been there 3 times, 1 vehicle. The 1st time the part they installed was defective. I took it back and the replacement to the defective part was an inferior part that was also defective. I put up with the clicking rather than go back because it worked, it was just noisy. The 3rd time was to change the gas filter only. Even though I had AAA, they wouldn't tow it because the trip was only 1/2 mile. So, I paid $100 to get it to the shop. Atlas didn't change the filter. They never even pulled the cover. But still charged me $180 for a diagnostic, $63 for work I didn't ask for when they cut my factory battery cables. And they didn't even give me the results of the diagnostic. I was told they would need $900 to drop the gas tank to tell me what was wrong. I didn't trust them after that comment. Oh yeah, another $100 to pick it up. So, $400+ for nothing. I bought a $9 gas filter, had a mobile Mechanic put it on and it runs great. Except for the clicking. read more

I don't think I've ever felt I trusted an auto mechanic before, but I have a great feeling about Ali. I think we finally found our family mechanic. I have an older Sequoia that I refuse to get rid of. I don't like the new models, I need 3 rows of seats for visitors and kid's friends, the engine never dies, and I need something I don't feel bad getting dirty. Since it's pretty old we make sure it's maintained well. We always try different mechanics and are always disappointed. We've had our trunk handle fixed at least 4 times in the past and it always gets stuck again. My husband wanted me to meet the guy, Ali who finally fixed the trunk and did our tune up and I immediately liked him. He showed us what the last mechanics were doing that caused all of our issues. I've never had a mechanic care enough to tell us the root cause, show me the faulty parts and show me just how everything was fixed and guaranteed that it won't happen again. I love Atlas, they are truly honest and trustworthy. Here's my story, I went to Westshore Honda for an airbag recall. They fixed the airbag problem but then said I had fluid leakage, need filters, brake needs flushing etc. Total would be over $1000. I told them I don't want work done. So immediately I took my car to Atlas and told them exactly what the dealer told me. I think his name was Allan, he checked my car and told me nothing was wrong. Keep in mind Allan could've just ride the dealers suggestions just to make money off me, but he didn't. He tells me my car was fine. This is the 4th time I been to Atlas and will always go back. Once again Atlas did an outstanding job even though it cost them business. I took one of my vehicles to have what would appear to be a relatively easy fix of a very annoying click in the air fan. I have been a customer for ten years plus. I have had Infinity, Honda and Kia brands. Ali, Reza and Ron have always done what needed to be done at a fair price. When they thought the dealership should cover a repair, they sent me to the dealership rather than having me pay out of pocket. Got up early this morning on my day off to take my car to Courtesy Kia for way over due brake pads and Rotors and back brakes. When the Rep came back I was told it would be $690 for all services needed, I looked at him like he was crazy , I told him that's crazy Thank you but no Thank you I'll take my business elsewhere. I went on Google and looked up who were the best mechanics in Tampa well """" Atlas Car Center """"" was the first one to pop-up. The last time I went to this place was in 2006 or 2007 . I drove over and went in and I honestly thought that it was going to be different owner's, well it wasn't it was still the same humble, personable and very caring Reza and Ali . When I walked in they even offered me pizza which they were having for lunch , talk about being hospitable . I mentioned what I was there for and I was given an estimate of $230 to $250 , could you believe the difference in price from $690 for the same service WOW !!!! . It's people like this that actually make this world alot better for the honest hard working souls who appreciate good work and caring hearts . As Ali placed the order he says you can have a seat or I can have Reza drive you home and have him pick you up when service is complete. After so many years that had past by nothing about them had changed they were still the wonderful souls that I once remembered. I found Ali's shop several years ago driving past. I went to him for a second opinion on a part the dealer wanted to charge hundreds to purchase and install. He built the part and saved me hundreds on labor when we really needed it. He took the time to explain the problem and how he could do it for less. My family moved to Atlanta soon after but I told my mother and stepfather about Ali and they have been using him for their cars ever since. I have never met such an honest mechanic. On one visit, my mother needed body work done and he really went the extra mile making sure she would love her car, even replacing her hubcaps and cleaning up other parts of the body to make the car look extra nice, she still talks about this! Recently my local Atlanta dealer quoted me $450 for a 60k service on my Sienna. I was heading to FL the following week and remembered Ali. He did the whole service, replaced 2 break pads, a cabin filter and did a synthetic oil change for $200. He had me in and out in a day with no appointment because he knew I was vacationing with my boys and needed the car. I have never written a review for any person or place that was more deserving than Atlas. I cannot recommend .them more highly. The mechanics are all so friendly and patient. They take their time to explain everything and care deeply about their reputation and taking care of their cusyomers. I don't ever have to worry about dishonesty or bad work here. Ali gave me his number and told me I could call anytime for advice when a local mechanic tells me work is needed. A coworker gave excellent reviews of Atlas Auto Center which she and her husband had been using for years, so I finally gave them a shot several years ago when my air conditioner was acting up. They told me that it looked like it was under a recall, which, in fact, it was, and Honda replaced it for free. Their honestly greatly impressed me, so when I was told I needed front brakes during an oil change, I sought a second opinion from Reza and Ali. I did need them, but their excellent service was half the price of the first company. Again today, at another oil change at a new business, that literally took 2 full hours, I was again told I needed rear brakes and rotors: estimated cost: $479.00. Not. I called to Reza and he proactively ordered both the pads and rotors in the event I needed them. They took me in later that afternoon, and I only needed the brakes, which was $107. and it took less than an hour! Had I needed the rotors, it would have been half the price of the franchised estimate! Atlas auto is the real deal. It is an old-fashioned, family owned service station. By old-fashioned I mean, honest and skilled mechanics who will give you a fair price, not the mega-franchises that give you free coffee that ultimately costs you an arm and a leg.
