Because my 2 year maintenance program at the dealership expired, I needed to find a regular business that could take care of my car maintenance needs under one roof, since I refuse to pay dealership prices for comparable work. I think I have found my place on my first visit! One service guy at the the desk was super friendly and smiley, as well as knowledgeable. The other was super knowledgeable and gave me detailed explanations to all my questions. I got lifetime wheel alignment for $159, compared to ONE alignment at the dealership for $144.43, and he encouraged me to bring my car in for alignment at least once every 6 months, or whenever needed. The dealership also recommended 2 jobs, combustion chamber AND EFI, totaling $316, and here it was just their EFI job which covered both, for $129. I walked in at 8am,and was out at 9:35am, very hard to beat. This replaces my previous Firestone location, which lost my business after 25 years, because the service manager refused my request to match their company policy of any oil change price when I presented one to her, after they had been doing it for me for over 5 years already. These people are far more pleasant, faster, and more efficient than my previous place ever was. I highly recommend! read more

I was heading to Busch Gardens from Sarasota 2/24/22. When I exited I-75 at Fowler my car started acting up. The engine was skipping and I lost full power. Being a Firestone customer in Sarasota for years I searched for the closest Firestone. I left my car for the day so they could diagnose the issue. They were able to get the parts needed to fix the car and to squeeze me in their busy schedule that day. The crew was great and I was able to drive my car home that night. firestone is a joke. the techs are all bums trying to make a quick buck, sticky fingers so don't leave anything remotely valuable in your car or it won't be there when you pick it up. and lastly this particular location was my last straw with firestone. the desk guy walter is a smart ass, because i asked if they can enter a credit card number manually as im a college student and my father who lives in another state wasnt there. i go to call my dad to tell him that and walter goes "they dont do credit cards over the phone"???? no shit i heard you the first time old guy. completely ridiculous to not disclose that before even taking my keys. especially to a college kid. this company is so arrogant and im never stepping foot into another firestone read more

TWA Firestone is an amazing place to take your car for repairs. Alan White, the manager, used to run a shop in Carrollwood many years ago when he transferred to TWA Firestone in Temple Terrace. So we followed him. Now decades later, they still handles all of our cars. That gives you an idea how much we trust him. He and his team will tell you what is up with you car straight up. If money is an issue, he will do everything he can to ease the pain, such as what can wait until a later time. So, without a doubt, if you need any kind of auto repair give them a call or stop by. Saturday morning my car started overheating. I called the fire stone to see if. so I can have it towed there had it towed there later that day just give me a price quote it was kind of pricey, so I decided to hold off till Monday when I call back Monday to get the parts ordered. The gentleman told me he cannot see anything done with my car to call back and speak to the gm call back did you and told me that he would order the parts I got my car be fixed yesterday it's still not fixed this morning when I called he was all pissed off and asked me to come get my car so now I have to have a total whole another store another $150 and wait till my car gets fixed was supposed to go to work today. I had a call off because of all the situation and also. all I wanted was to get on the same page and have my car fixed. I will never go back to them and will tell everybody not to go there because of the horrible experience. read more

Alan, Walter and the rest of the TWA team are great. They just put new tires on my car and also did a front end alignment per my request. No hard sell....just the needed items. I feel like it was a very fair price too, and they knocked out the job within two hours. Now the car is driving like the day it was purchased new! Once again I was able to leave TWA Firestone with a feeling that my Avalon was well looked after by the entire staff. The thorough vehicle inspection uncovered a few items that needed attention and I was able to have them corrected on the spot. I will feel completely comfortable in the next few weeks when I take my car on an extended road trip due to the care provided by TWA Firestone. Alan and the guys are great and I have been using them for the last 10yrs! I never feel hassled or pressured and I know they will take good care of me.
