This place is a scam!!! I was quoted $47 for an oil change with a tire rotation and topping off all fluids and systems check. I get here and nothing is in the system and she tells me it will be over $120!!!! Not even close to the price I was given over the phone. That's disgusting!!! I'm disabled and had to get myself together just to take it there just for them to try and rip me off!! How dare they triple the price!!! Never ever will I call on them again. Now I have to find somewhere else to get my service done. I did leave the information! You suck!! read more

If you don't know much about cars i wouldn't go here. My wife got tires from them a few weeks back. They leaked so she brought it back. They said it was because the rims were dirty. Instead of cleaning the rims when they were replacing the tires they changed her an additional $60 to do it when she got back. When I was a mechanic I would have been disciplined for not cleaning rims before installing tires. And if it isn't firestone policy to do that try to think of another profession where it's ok to put out dirty, half-hearted work. read more

They can usually get me in same day, but recommend that I make an appointment given that they are so busy, so I've been making appointments. I'm in and out within my quoted time. So, I took my husbands car to get tires at the firestone in Glassboro. I had to take the car back to Blackwood to get the tires properly balanced. I asked them to make sure all 4 of the tires were properly balanced because my husband felt a vibration in the tires that should not be there. Well, apparently they only balanced one of he four tires. I asked the tech when he was done if he did all four. He said that he did do all four. Today, he drove the car to work and all four tires were not balanced correctly. Shoddy work. Liars. We will not return. read more

Both my husband and I take our Dodge and our Subaru here for regular oil changes and maintenance. Yesterday, while my husband had the Dodge in for an oil change and new brakes, the manager asked my husband to come out and look at the oil pan on the car (my husband drives down to Atlantic City to work, and frequently has to drive through standing salt water). The oil pain in the car was all rusted out because of the salt water! It is the little things like this / the care taken towards the customers to help them out is what keeps us coming back! There have been other times when employees have also pointed out coupons, or money back rebates that we were unaware of that saved us money on tires and other services. We also have the Firestone credit card, and sometimes there are no interest deals associated with that. I would totally recommend this Firestone to others! read more

Very good service if you are a male that understand cars. If you are a female, be vigilant when you get a phone call saying you need work done. It may be legit, but get a second opinion first. They have tried to sell my wife and daughter parts and services they didn't need on two separate occasions. Both times I turned down the services and both times they were not needed. Once for and alignment and brake job they said my wife needed. (I brought the car to the Honda dealership and they said everything was in great shape. No need for brakes or alignment) and once where they tried to sell my daughter a tire because of a nail puncture too close to the edge to fix. It turned out it was a nail head, not a nail and it wasn't even leaking. read more

IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR RUINED, GO HERE!!! We brought our car in for an oil change and to check the breaks because the pedal goes all the way to the floor. They said we had to get the master cylinder changed and get the system flushed and it would be $500-$600. We then called another shop and they quoted us a much lower price so we told them thank you but we're going elsewhere. The new place then calls us after we drop the car off and says there is a HUGE problem. He tells us someone put the wrong fluid in the car and its very noticeable because it's red. This red fluid is a huge problem as it is going to ruin the whole system. So now, it's going to cost $1,775. We call Firestone back and ask if they noticed any red fluid because they told us nothing about it previously. They claimed they didn't see it at all even though it is VERY noticeable. They are liars! They purposefully ruined our car. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE people!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting. THEY TOTALED OUR CAR. PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS. read more

THIS IS NOT MY FIRST PROBLEM WITH THIS SHOP! I requested an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. Now keep in mind I have been going to this place for several years and purchased my tires there. I have changed my oil and rotated tires myself for 35 years but am just too busy to do it now so I have been using firestone for a while now. I always ask them to cross rotate the tire as they are not directional. Most young techs don't even know how to do this but that's another story. I also ask them to please put the lug nuts back on by hand the torque the nuts properly. After oil change and tire rotation I always first check the oil level and then I remove each lug nut and recheck the torque with my own torque wrench. This only takes a few minutes. The reason I do this is because I drive far to work each day and if I get a flat, I want to be able to remove the wheel with the lug wrench in my flat kit and not need a huge bar to loosen the nuts plus I want to make sure the nuts are tightened properly. Now for the fun part. I also mark the tires with numbers 1-4 so I know they are rotated properly once completed. I know this seems anal but it really makes the tires wear evenly and last much longer. I rotate tires with every oil change and do synthetic oil every 7500 miles. When I picked up the vehicle I first checked the tires and they were NEVER rotated! I couldn't believe my eyes. I had to second guess myself and think I didn't mark the tires properly but after some thought realized they just pulled a fast one on me. I next checked the oil and it was low and dirty looking. I brought it back to the shop and showed them how I knew the tires were not rotated and the oil was low. They brought it back in and rotated the tires again. While rotating the tires, which should have taken all of 10 minutes, I watched the tech work on the tires and noticed that he was on the other side which I could not see but heard him using his impact gun for a very long time. I knew in my mind he had cross threaded the lug nut on the stud as this has happened before. I then see him check the oil and go to the oil dispensing area to put more oil in. They said it was only .2 qts low but I could not even see oil on the dipstick which by the way was never removed and checked when they first changed the oil!! I could tell because it was dirty when I checked the oil and was confirmed by another person in the shop when I brought it back this morning. This morning I checked the lug nuts and as suspected, one of the lug nuts was cross threaded and could not be removed. If I got a flat I would have had to call a tow truck! UNACCEPTABLE to say the least. I also checked the dipstick this morning and wiped the dipstick several times and brought the paper towel to the shop. I brought the truck back this morning and showed the paper towel to another tech who was older and experienced and I asked him if this looks like clean oil. He asked me how many miles I had on it! I told him the oil was changed yesterday and I had about 1 mile on it. I live right around the corner. He said it did not look clean of course. They now have to replace the stud and re-change the oil which will take several hours and the experienced tech will work on my truck. They told me they are looking for a reason to fire the tech that worked on my truck and I said I think you have your reasons now. The tech looked young. I am a business owner and understand that people need to gain experience but work ethics like this cannot be tolerated. I was late for a business appointment last night due to the problems and had to take off work again today. I could not chance getting a flat and needing to be towed. The store manager is on vacation and the shop manager has not offered my anything yet other than to fix the problems. I will talk to the store manager for a full refund when he returns. As a business owner I would have easily offered a full refund. I'm sure tech will be fired and there are probably good techs there but this has happened before to me and I have lost all confidence in this shop. read more

I called and setup a phone on Thursday for a Friday morning appointment. The person I spoke with confirmed the appointment for 8:30. I Arrived at 8:30, to which the gentleman said the appointment was for 7am. He told me he had me down for the Synthetic Oil change, to which I said my car does not take Synthetic. He assured me that it did (it doesn't). The problem was they he had the wrong car in the system (the person I spoke to yesterday never asked which car) and quoted me a price of $22.99. Somehow, the price today increased. I asked if I could use a coupon as well, and somehow the price increased to $38.00. Classic bait and switch tactic. I normally change my own oil and do my own service but just don't have the time given the holidays, so I figured how bad would it be to take my car here. I feel bad for anyone who is clueless about cars and repairs because this looks like the place that would hustle someone unbeknownst to them! read more

I took my 2013 ford f150 in for new tires. They could not remove all 4 tires from my truck the first day. I had to return the next day because they were unable to remove my lug nuts. I returned the next day and they were able to replace the 4th tire. 3 month down the road I had my tires rotated and found that my back tires were never balanced! I went to the store to inform them of my grievance and they told me they would handle it. They called back right before close of business and told my the tech was given a day off tomorrow but nothing offered for not doing the job!! So THEY RIPPED ME OFF!!! Was in and out with great service very polite.I just needed a oil done and a tire rotation and the manger even gave me a coupon that I didn't have. I got new tires had some problems with brakes after tires was installed went back on 12/5/2015 did not fix problem came back on 12/6/2015 two get problem fixed DAN the new store manger was there spoke with about the new tires and about the brake problem I said to install new brakes and rotors to note the ones in front of car was new that that did the work on with warranty so of course it was replaced the back brakes where not done to note had winter inspection done on the 12/02/2015 and everything was good on the brakes and rotors on inspection on 12/02/2015 got a new battery same day came back next day on 12/03/2015 for new tires and coolant service and fuel system cleaning total bill with out battery was 936.30 not bad price.After new tires was installed had braking problems came back in twice.On 12/06/2015 came back to get car fixed got the back bone for half price should been free because the new tires was not installed right in the first place so I ask for a n/c oil change Dan the new store manger would not do it. I have spent thousands of dollars with Firestone one would think a oil change would be no problem to make up for the Custmer lost time but no Dan was rude and said my car was already done and was to late to do oil change this on 12/06/2105 at 12:00 store is open until 5:00 pm I would of even paid if I had the chance for the oil change after spending about 1400 dollars on everything that was done not a big deal but what got me pissed off was he would not do the oil change.Firestone has done good things for me over the many years sometimes it's the person you deal with in this case would not recommend dealing with DAN at the store who needs Custmer service training and I will be calling Firestone on this matter. read more
