These guys are fantastic. Had issues, took the SUV to a dealer and immediately got the runaround. I finally woke up and asked my indy guy if there was a good trans shop around. I brought my 1989 corvette to them. It was a restoration project. It's one of those cars that the more you uncover, the more issues it has. The transmission was no exception. Once it was drivable I realized it only had 1st and second, no drive or overdrive. A typical problem with a 700r4 transmission with high miles. I spoke with John and we agreed to have the work done. Once I received the car back it seemed fine. Maybe 50-100 miles , the loss of drive and overdrive returned. They brought it back and repaired the issue. Once i received it back the same issue occurred. I rarely drive this car and I was frustrated at this point. I contacted Shawn and we set a date to bring it back. It was as puzzling to them as it was to me. While digging deeper, they uncovered a small defect in the transmission that was bleeding out line pressure. This time it is fixed. I've literally only driven it probable 50 miles but it feels so much better. It shifts smoothly and is responsive. I mention all of this because I dealt with John and Shawn. They were always polite and professional. They always listened and were willing to stand behind their work. Finding a decent, honest mechanic for our cars can be very stressful. Fortunately for me I found this great transmission repair shop in Marlton. My car had a very specific transmission issue that my regular mechanic was not able to repair. During my initial call, the owner listened to me "girl splain" the symptoms I was having with my gear shift. He told me that it didn't sound like a major problem and we worked on a mutual time to bring my car in. I dropped the car off and the next day he called me to tell me it was done!
