The staff worked on and finished 3 other cars before completing mine. I was there for over an hour and had to complain to get them to work on my vehicle. I couldn't leave as they had already removed my two tires that needed to be replaced. I truly believe that I was ignored because I am a woman. They were eager to help all the men waiting around, but didn't even acknowledge me. I always pay cash there, I always tip, and I bring 4 vehicles there as needed. My family will not be utilizing this shop anymore. When I asked why my vehicle wasn't being worked on, I was told that the staff were told to do it first. Funny how they did it last and not first. I began limping my car to a shop I found on Yelp to wait for it to open and beg for help. I stopped at a light and to my right was Coopers. Butch's open sign flashed like a beacon and I pulled in. I walked in and was greeted by the owner, Butch. I explained my predicament and how far from home I was. Butch invited my girlfriend and I in and pulled my car in. He explained that he could either do a patch job and get me on the road in a few minutes or do a complete fix in a couple hours. In the interest of safety, he recommended the full repair, which I opted for. He then asked where I had been visiting. After I told him my family lived nearby, he pointed to his truck and said the keys are in the ignition. Then he sent me to spend a couple hours with my family while he fixed the car. He finished the repair in a couple hours as promised and had me back on the road at a very reasonable price. There are not too many places like this left.
