My car broke down due to another shop error. I had to be towed over 70 miles here, luckily there was a hotel next door and a Walmart right behind the shop. I met Russell and he took care of all my needs. He was a great person to meet and someone i felt I could trust. Russell and his staff not only explained everything to me. They also drove me around to help me get food. I was stranded at this shop for 3 days. I'm thankful to them for making it feel like a vacation. If you are in the area ask for Russell. I have taken 3 different vehicles here, and every time they magically find extra problems with the vehicle. I drove one car out from California, no problem. After a few months in TX and taking it to Firestone it needed a new transmission. Id recommend oil changes, but if you're tight on cash and don't want the risk, go elsewhere. read more

I went in for an alignment on my 96 Nissan Sentra. They were pleasant, they did the alignment, they broke my turn signal lever assembly and said nothing. The high beam lights either won't turn on or won't shut off. The same with the turn signal. The signal lever moves in all different directions, it's broke. After I picked it up and discovered the issue, I decided I would never go back there. For them to do this is incredibly unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect for the customer. Did the mechanic do this and not say anything...possibly. But, why is there not a service manager or shop foreman verifying repairs? read more

I had to call this place today because my daughter went there this morning and was charged about $50.00 too much for a simple oil change and safety inspection. First off, the service manager informed her that her car required full synthetic oil, which is a lie. Toyota Corollas DO NOT call for synthetic oil from the factory. Then she was charged over twice the price for state inspection, they did a dyno emissions test on the car which is clearly registered in a county that does not require emissions testing. All they had to do is look at the registration sticker upon which the county is legibly printed. Guess that's too complicated for this bunch of scumbags. I called the place on her behalf, and was informed that their computer said the car was required to run synthetic oil. Hmmm, must be a company wide scam. Then he tried to explain the whole emissions testing thing, then said they hadn't noticed the county in which it is registered. Why? I guess it's just easier for them to take advantage of a young single mom who has to save up for a couple months for the service and just doesn't know any better, rather than earning their keep by giving good, honest customer service. The sad thing to me is that the only way I could get any response from the service manager is to threaten them with legal action, at which time he said he would make it right, especially being that I own and am making payments, and paying for insurance on the car. I am sending her there tomorrow to be reimbursed, and I hope for their sake they do the right thing. If you don't know anything about car servicing, stay as far away from this place as you can. read more

This Firsstone location is a joke. They sell you road hazard and unlimited rotation and alignment services but cannot deliver these promises without making you wait a minimum of 2 hrs! Even if you have an appointment. I'm here waiting for some one to look at one of my tires that's losing air. Been here way too long! read more

Everywhere I have taken my car to get an oil change has tried to charge me upwards of $50 for standard oil change, upwards of $80 if I wanted synthetic oil. So I began calling to check prices in my area. As soon as I called here I received quality customer service and was informed of a special via Groupon that would make my oil change cost only $21.99. I was even worked in on a very busy day. I did wait nearly 2 hours but I was a work in, so no reason to complain about waiting. I am thankful. I appreciated the service, the price, and the professionalism of staff. read more

Even with appointments, you never get in and out within a reasonable time. We bought four sets of tires within a year and they have all had random blow outs. When you bring them in to get it replaced, they at least prorate the tire if you have them insured. To get your vehicle in for a rotation/balance, get ready to spend a good portion of your day there. read more

My husband went to Firestone in Waxahachie today and purchased 4 new tires for his RAM truck. You would think that if a customer spent 900 dollars in your store that you would at least wipe the soap off of the tires. Wipe all the goop and dust off of the rims. These wheels are filthy!!! You take your vehicle in to get tires and it comes back with filthy wheels. I think this is unacceptable. All I can say is you just can not get good help any more. No one takes pride in their work. I miss the good ole days when people gave a Damn. Sorry to say that we will not be going back. Such a shame. Hometown business. read more

While most of the people are friendly, I'm frustrated with the low quality of work, as of late, and will be taking my business elsewhere. I'm most horrified with the female manager's lack of professionalism. Instead of accepting that the store was in the wrong, she was incredibly defensive and made excuses for the poor quality of work, which unfortunately led us into an argument in front of other customers. I really should not have let Firestone do my most recent work and here's why: *I had my tires rotated last year, and they did not reset my dashboard settings so that it accurately read the tire pressure for the correct tires. I was NOT made aware that the dashboard settings were not fixed at the time my tires were rotated. I recently learned of this the hard way while three hours from home, alone and driving my children. My dashboard notified me that a specific tire pressure was low on air (it was in the 20's). Out in the middle of no where, I had no choice but to put Fix-a-Flat in the tire (the one my dashboard said was low on air) and quickly get to a gas station. Once at the gas station, I checked the tire pressure before adding air. Come to find out, the tire I had just added Fix-a Flat too had plenty of air (it was reading in the high 30's). I assumed that my dashboard must be wrong and almost drove on home...which was 2 1/2 hours away. However my intuition told me to check the pressure on all the tries. Come to find out, the tire low on air was not the tire that my dashboard indicated. So I had to add another can of Fix-a Flat to the "real" flat tire in order to get me home. I shutter to think what would have happened had I relied on my dashboard warnings and not checked all the tires myself. The tire with Fix-A-Flat was replaced by Firestone since tires with Fix-A-Flat cannot be patched. I guess if I ever get a nail in the good tire with Fix-A-Flat, that's an automatic new tire. Sigh. Today, I was informed that Firestone did not have the equipment to fix my dashboard setting at the time they rotated my tires, yet they did not inform me of this at the time. My trip could have ended very poorly due to Firestone's negligence and lack of communication. * Yesterday, I took my car back in because the same tire that was fixed (the one mentioned above) kept leaking air. I've been having to fill the tire up with air twice a week, even though I couldn't see a nail in the tire. They did a basic inspection of the wheels (rotated them to look for nails). I was told that they didn't see any nails in the tire I complained about, but did find one in another tire and replaced it. I get the car back, and the tire I originally complained about (that they said was fine) continues to leak air. I was told by the manager that since they found a nail in the other tire and my dashboard was not indicating a problem with the tire I was complaining about, they figured everything was fine. Mind you, they were going off the information on my dashboard which was wrong due to their last mess up of not fixing it the last time they rotated my tires. Sigh. Today, the woman manager told me to bring my car back in and they would actually take the tire off this time and thoroughly inspect it this time in case a nail poked all the way through and was not visible. When I asked her why they didn't do that the first time around she said that b/c they found a nail in another tire, and my dashboard indicated the tire was fine, and because that they were so busy that day (alluding to the fact that they didn't have the time to take the tire off and inspect it correctly), they figured everything was fine. When I continued to challenge their logic on why they wouldn't thoroughly inspect a tire I was consistently having air problems with, she started to get defensive and make excuses, thus leading to an embarrassing argument in front of customers. Out of all of this, all she offered to do was get me a new appointment which in her mind somehow rectified the whole ordeal. God bless the sane man working there who watched me have to argue and defend my position to this female manager. He at least was nice enough to not charge me for an oil change.
