I had a not great experience. They are not good at communicating the issue. I was just told they couldn't work on my car nothing further.

Recently took our car for an oil change to the west Chester location where we had been taking our cars for quite some time. This time it was different though. The technicians recommended that we replace a part as it was leaking fluid all over the engine, for a cost of over $1400. They also suggested various other repairs. When we got back home there was definitely oil dripping from the car. After four days we decided to get a second opinion from our dealer. They said the recent oil change was not done properly with the filter not being inserted correctly and there was a lot of oil spill everywhere. They cleaned up all the oil and checked everything and advised us that the car was in perfect condition and not leaking any fluids. Will not go back to this Firestone location anymore. read more

Went to this location on 7/22/2025 to get a front end alignment. I was immediately pitched the upsell for a lifetime alignment. I declined and the friendly tone changed. I told her I just needed the alignment done on my 2013 and didn't need anything else. A few hours later, I get the email that service is complete and to come get my car. I was informed that I needed four new tires as mine were "Close To End Of Useful Life", that my tie rod ends were shot and I'd probably have to come back to get future realignments more often. Both were in the email I received as well. I paid the bill which was higher than quoted and left. Here's where the problem comes in, I literally purchased new tires at Tires Plus on 6/21/2025 in anticipation of my car inspection that was due. So according to the mechanic and this shop, my less that ONE MONTH OLD new tires were ""Close To End Of Useful Life" and I should replace them with tires this shop would be happy to sell me and charge me to install. I work from home. My car literally sits everyday except for the random grocery store run and errands so this wasn't a matter of just being incorrect about the state of my tires, it was a lie to sell me new tires. When I did get my car inspected, I specifically asked them to check my tie rods because of the dire warning I received during the upsell. The mechanic and the manager where I had my inspection done looked at me like I was insane for even asking it. Informed me that there is absolutely no give or wear on these parts at all and everything is rock solid. There is no reason at all to swap out these parts unless I like wasting money. I am so disappointed in my experience here and even though it's local to me and I could drop my car off and walk home, it's a wrap for me. If I can't trust you about the state of my tires or tie rods, two of the main things keeping me safe on the road, I can't trust that the work will ever be done correctly. Beyond these lies, what was even more disappointing was that on 7/23/2025 I received the "Firestone Complete Auto Care - Your Feedback Is Important To Us" email asking how my experience was. I took the time to fill it out, detailing the very poor experience I had. It's now 8/16/2025 as I write this and I still have not heard from anyone which makes me feel like maybe there is commission in the upsells and this is normal business. I work in an industry where people rely on me to be honest with them because they trust me to do my job. I wanted to feel this way about the people working on my vehicle. This was very poor customer service but hey, the sale went through and the money came out of my account so I'm sure this is chalked up as a win for Firestone. So disappointed in all of this. Felipe and Christian and Alayna she assisdent cashier and take all the imformation. Well they oil change two of my daughter cars and her husband a early Chrismas gift from her mom for both cars and rotation oacrs a old Honda Civic and a Prism we are trying to take care of them. both Techiciant did great went over everthing and Explain what they may need soon my Son in law two tires. everything else looks great. Just paid Heather-Karen for the bogus bill that i'll be speaking with regional about and wow is she all over the place. i walk in and she asks me how i'm feeling ... (weird since the last time i was in the showroom she treated my son and i like she didn't want our business). i told her i'm just there to pay the bill she thinks i owe and she does and excorcist head spin and changes attitude and gets all aggressive and says she's just trying to help. i reminded her that she had No interest in helping me when i asked what website i would get my registration from when she curtly answered NO and she denied that and started acted all crazy saying i was inappropriate and to never come back there again. ummmm A- like i would come back there. Bish please. and then B she tells me she hopes i feel better. ... i told her i have brain cancer and i won't be getting better but she could go fuck herself . so that's what happened today and i regret not one word because she deserves what she got. read more

Didn't get a chance to provide feedback before the internal feedback survey expired (don't check my e-mail every day) so it may be helpful to them as a feedback loop or to a future customer if I document my experience here. Service advisor - always nice, facilitates the business transactions very well, and offers concession if there are process failures which can affect me as a customer. Dropped vehicle off mid-day for alignment and state safety and emissions inspection. Work wasn't finished same day which is understandable since I dropped of mid-day. I was notified before day end, stated it would be first priority on next day, and concession was offered. Not necessary but it was a genuine and nice gesture. Still a good transaction at this point. Next day, stores opens at 8am, call received at 10:24am notifying inspection complete and alignment remained. Arrived via ride share at 12:11pm thinking every was going well on their end and 2 hours was enough to finish the alignment. Alignment not started and I elect to wait. Fair play to the advisor because I didn't wait for the all done call. It was just my internal expectation based on previous data - see above phone calls. Alignment started shortly after arrival and all done, paid for, and out the door around 1:10pm. Not too bad. Drive the short-ish distance home ( less than 5 mi) and as I'm pulling into the neighborhood, I hear a rumble while the wheels are rotating. Check the lug nuts - 3 of 5 loose on one rear and same side front 5 of 5 lug nuts were loose. Torqued them myself and moved on. Rather glad I didn't go elsewhere first or get onto a highway where it would have been more complicated and higher stakes in a worser case. This is where an okay transaction became a bad transaction. Everybody makes mistakes at some point in their life. This one just happened to be one that should be considered higher risk to the customer. read more

Last week I took my car to Firestone in west Chester pa for state inspection and they told me I needed $5229 dollars in repairs now I was a tech for 30 years of my life, and when they showed me what the tech said was wrong was not wrong it was a little worn but not bad what was going on was they were trying to up sell work that it did not need because they saw it had a lot of miles on it ,after I left I took it another shop that I had never been to before I showed them the paperwork of what they said I needed and they checked it out and I was told that none of it was bad just worn so to the ass hole tech who looked at my car you should be ashamed of yourself trying to get over on a person who did this for 30 years I was going to call the state police but you are just a scum bag and the karma wagon will get you one day also I don't care if you don't like my review ) and by the way it's not up to the mechanics Discretion as the store manager told me he has to go by the inspection manual that is put out by the state he can't just make up his own rules I hope you lose your job and I will never send anybody to this place I know a lot of people in this business have a nice day. read more

I've been a customer at this location for seven years; bringing about five different vehicles here. Recently I brought my new truck in for a oil change; after the work was completed I discovered a huge chunk of tire missing out of the sidewall of one off my $300 dollar 33" tires! When I brought it to the mangers attention, he stated "well what do you want me to do about it", and refused to except that his employees had ruined my tire! Yep, you lost a costumer!! Don't trust the employees of this Firestone location, Pure Scum!!! To whom it may concern again: I was contacted by Firestone Social Care; and was directed to give my side of a story, of the damage my vehicle had obtained while being worked on at one of your locations. I was pleasantly pleased after being contacted, raising my hopes that something might be done about the damage my vehicle obtained. Possibly a reimbursement! (Wasn't I an idiot)! I was also informed that I would be contacted by an Area Manger within a 48hr. period. Well that period has come and went, without any contact by phone! I find it disrespectful that this company has made me waste my time and energy for a third time now!! The reference # is My phone # is A very displeased former customer!! To Firestone Social Care: I would like to thank you for your assistance and your timely responses with my claim I was dealing with pertaining to my tire on my vehicle. I am pleasantly pleased with the out come of my claim; as well as Firestone (the company). I do recommend some costumer service training for your shop mangers; if this training was instilled this issue may have been settled at the shops level & not corporate! But again thank you; and thank you for my new tire. I still will not utilize this location; and I will inform everyone I know of my negative experience I had dealt with....but I will also explain the positive outcome I received from Firestone the company! An alignment. That is all I needed. One would think that a Firestone should be able to handle it. The car is 7 years old. The sweet spot for aftermarket repairs. The people were nice. They seemed to care. When I picked up my car, I was told they were unable to address the issue that resulted in my coming to them for an alignment - the rear passenger tire. I paid them $96 to complete an alignment they couldn't complete. So off it was to the dealer - about two weeks later - who found it out of alignment all over, not just the rear passenger tire. They fixed it as close to specs as were called for. When I called to complain, someone named AJ told me that I was told to go to the dealer the day I picked up the car - totally untrue. I was told they did the best they could and there was no way to adjust the back wheel totally (that was true at the dealer as well - but the dealer got the rest of the alignment under control - unlike Firestone). Plus the dealer charged $25 less. In the future, I will go to the dealer and not bother with this type of service from this facility. read more

I have been a customer here for about five years, but I am strongly considering going elsewhere. The mechanics working on the cars seem to be very young, and in some cases arrogant and not very friendly (Mike in particular)! Good for only basic, non technical work. There are better options in the area than this. read more

This place is a joke. We took my husband's company Termix truck here to get fixed on Saturday before Thanksgiving. We've taken it here many times before along with a few other Terminix employees that take their trucks here. He heard nothing from them until we called them on FRIDAY. We figured with the holiday it would take some time. We called them only to find out THEY COULD DO NOTHING. Wtf?! They claim the truck was too big to put on the lift. Again, he had this truck serviced there MANY times along with other empLoyees who have the same truck. His first answer was "oh, no one called you?" Like COME ON. There's a truck sitting there for almost a week and you don't even call?!? They couldnt answer our simple question of "why after all this time getting service here you NOW can't put the truck on the lift?" The guy on the phone literally said "well I'm not a mechanic so I'll have to talk to my guys about it". Thank you so much for inconveniencing us. We took it to the Ford dealership who serviced it in 3 hours. No one from Terminix will be coming back to your business again. That's a shame for you to loose all that business because you have a bunch of lazy morons working there. Good luck! read more

I'm completely shocked by the bad reviews on here, I've never had a problem with this place. I've been here many times to get several different cars inspected, oil changes, and some other repairs. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful, prices seem to be pretty good. I'm writing this review because I'm particularly very satisfied with the experience I had today. I took my car in to get and inspection and oil change. I came in 30 mins earlier than my scheduled appointment, but no big deal, they took my car in right away. I asked for an estimated time, and they said they would call me when they had a better idea. I planned to leave it there anyway so no big deal. About 3 hours later another guy called me and told me they just needed to replace the rotors and it would pass inspection. They said it should be be ready by 4:15. I went in to pick my car up at 4:45 during my break at work, and it wasn't ready. At first I was a little annoyed, but they apologized for the delay, and then offered to drop my car off for me at work. I know that's fairly normal for a lot of dealerships to do, but I was pleasantly surprised and of course accepted the offer. Anyway, the staff is always very friendly and helpful, and any services are always done right. Keep it up Firestone! read more

I am actually calling the better business bureau regarding the business practice of this facility. I came in last minute for a PA Emission inspection and was scheduled within the hour, thankful but shame on me for waiting till last minute. My car is 2 years old and well maintained, there was nothing that could possibly cause this car to not pass inspection. I was told that I would need some type of fuel filter in addition to new tires as well as new windshield wipers. When pressed, the service person said that he was recommending everything with the exception of the wiper blades that will cost approx. $40-$50. He said the wipers were cut and wouldn't pass inspection. I said my husband will take care of everything and asked if they are saying my car won't pass inspection without getting them, he said I could take the car, get the blades changed and bring it back. He then offered me a cheaper option of blades and I said fine change them. Total blade cost approx. $26+tax for cheap wiper blades. After thinking for thirty seconds, I asked the service rep to leave the old wiper blades in my car that I would like to retain possession. He obliged. When I asked to verify the final cost of the vehicle inspection, I was given the charges and told that I could probably re use my old wiper blades because they need to clear the windshield within three passes and that's why they failed their inspection. My old wipers are in perfect condition and they told me they were cut and needed replacing to pass inspection. When I asked to keep them, they told me they failed to clear the windshield in three passes. All of which is a complete falsification. I will NEVER go back to this establishment. I will tell everyone I know to steer very clear of this place and ask that they do the same. Despicable practice! I'm completely disgusted!! read more

Brought my vehicle in to get a new turn signal housing because mine was out. They started going on about how expensive it would be because of electrical damage. Mind you, they hadn't looked at it. Tried to charge me $550 for parts and labor. Brought it to another mechanic and got it done for $89 in less than an hour. Complete scum. read more

I regularly use their services, they've been very helpful. Last time I was in they helped diagnose and repair a problem with belts in my tires. Honda wanted to rip me off $$$$ for same job. Mgr. I had to write to tell the world that the firestone in WC did a fantastic job fixing my brakes. You would have thought that they only deal with tires and oil. I came there for an oil change and mentioned how horrible my brakes sqweek. I have had other mechanics try to fix them and they would still sqweek a few days later. Well its been a few weeks now and with the dampness the still are quite. Thank God!!! Oh and the oil change was fine. I just purchased new tires from them and they gave me the best service and even tested my brakes again. Great customer service all the guys were nice and professional. 5 stars!!! read more

They say that if I wait it will take al little longer, but promise to get done in 1 hour. 90 minutes later it is still not even started. Come on...terrible process. MY WIFE BROUGHT HER CAR BACK WITH LOOSE LUG NUTS!!! I would give zero stars if I could. She came in for a wobble in her front tires and was given a quote for $1800 for the car to be inspected. Mind you the inspection isn't due until April. She called me after this quote and I told her to just have them put two new tires on and mount and balance them (because I can't do that myself). Their response was "that's the least of your worries." When she drove her car home she said the wobbling was exponentially worse when she drove the car home. I went to drive the car and made it 100 yards before it realized it was the lugs. They weren't torqued properly and one of them wasn't even hand tightened. Unbelievable!! In the meantime I've replaced her struts, control arms, and a motor mount which was in the quote. The car still wobbled so I told her to take it somewhere else to get the new tires. Tires Plus took care of it and said that would have fixed the wobbling in the first place. Either the mechanic was incompetent or you were purposely taking advantage of a woman. Shame on you!! I'm surprised she even made it back to West Chester without a wheel falling off! As a nanny she has to drive children in her car and I don't have the time to deal with fixing the most basic car on the market. The Better Business Bureau will be contacted.
