I had really good luck at this Firestone during my first visit. I had an appointment for an alignment, but showed up early, and they squeezed me in anyway. They spotted a number of issues with my car during my visit. They were really good about taking pictures of the problems and explaining things, so I trust them. I paid $159.00 for a lifetime alignment, but that was after a really good discount. I had a coupon for $20.00 off, then got another $50.00 off when I applied for a Firestone credit card. Been coming to this location since they opened because I work nearby so it is convenient. Its been hit or miss. The last few times seemed better as they didn't upsell hard like before. They would suggest things not specific to your car but things in general knowing that most people don't upkeep their cars. One time they suggested new spark plugs and I already had them done last month elsewhere so they don't look. I have a regular mechanic to do the real stuff. I just come here for my tires because they cover flats, repairs, replacements and I have a lifetime wheel alignment that has paid for itself 10 times over. I was considering America's Tire just across the way but would you believe they do NOT do wheel alignment? Crazy. I needed 4 new tires today and added a radiator flush because I was here. I dropped off at 8 telling them I needed it by 430 because that's when my ride gets off work and they said no problem, we'll call you when its ready! 4:35 and no call and my ride is leaving. I call and they say its ready. Hmph. So come here with caution. They can do good work but quality care is not consistent for Firestone. You are paying for convenience. Wow I just seen my friends video of him taking his car to get serviced here, the employee was "test driving" the car recklessly and didn't even apologize at all the manager seemed like he didn't care either, I wounded if they do that to every customer's car like that pretty sure they do. Took it back to Firestone and they offered me no discount nothing to replace the battery that they loosened during service. I had an incredibly upsetting experience at this Firestone location. My partner called ahead and scheduled a 9:00am appointment for my car. When I arrived early, the employee assisting me was neutral at first , but once he realized which phone call I was connected to, his attitude shifted immediately. I was told I would get an update in about 30 minutes. After more than an hour, my car still hadn't been touched. When I asked for an update, I was ignored while the employees whispered to each other, and I wasn't even acknowledged. When I followed up again, the employee became confrontational and kept asking irrelevant questions like whether I was "in a rush" or what my "timeframe" was, even though I already had an appointment. He then followed me outside while I was on the phone and told me I was being "intense" and that he was ready to give me my car back without even looking at it. I felt disrespected and singled out. I made an appointment to get my Alignment checked and buy the Lifetime Alignment Policy. The Lifetime alignment policy is a great value. Pay once, and never pay again. I have it on all my cars. I bring my other vehicles to the Firestone Place on Marconi & Fulton. Unfortunately, my car is too low to go up on the "RACK," it has to go up on the "LIFT." This is the only location in the area that has the lift. So I made my appointment, and showed up on time. I dont recall the name of the person I spoke to but he was friendly, professional and knew what he was doing. He was very helpful. That's where my satisfaction ends. Somehow, when the put it on the lift and tried top start it, the tail lights were flashing and they said my car had a problem. They asked me if there was a special "trick" to get it started. I said no. So I went over and it appeared to have a dead battery. It was fine when I started it in the morning. So they jump started it and did what was necessary. When they were done they told me my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I think they did something wrong when they hooked up the battery. But the worksheet Inspection documentation says the battery was normal like 83%. I stopped at Walmart Automotive on the way home. They tested my battery and said it was FINE, eighty something as well. So I get home, and I'm concerned because the battery is old, but tests fine all the time. So I called Triple A (AAA) because I dont want to take any chances. The mechanic that came out tested it twice and said it was 82%. I suggested that we just replace it anyway. She said they are not allowed to replace a perfectly good battery. She also said that she's tested thousands of batteries and that I have nothing to worry about with my battery. I was fine before - and It's been fine since. I dont know what went on, but it ended up being a wasted day because of this episode. Now I'm either going to have to find another Firestone with the special platform, or take a chance here again... read more

Honest Review - I Feel Completely Cheated Definitely not 5 stars or great service -- in fact, the exact opposite. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I brought my business vehicle here expecting professional service -- a proper inspection and clear recommendations on what the car needed. Instead, I got vague answers and zero guidance. Then they turn around and say my warranty is voided because I didn't perform services that they never even told me were needed? Am I supposed to do their job -- double-check their work, make my own mechanical recommendations, and guess what needs to be done? That's what I'm paying them for. After the last oil change, where they made no recommendations, one of the tires blew out while the car was rented -- leaving my guest stranded in Chico, costing me time, money, and my reputation. Turns out the tire was bald, and they never even mentioned it. That's a basic safety check they completely neglected. To make it worse, the front two tires -- from this same shop -- were bought after I spent thousands fixing the front end and getting an alignment and overpriced Firestone tires with a 70k mile warranty. Now at only 30k miles, they're trying to say the warranty is void because I didn't rotate them? Why didn't anyone mention tire rotation during the many visits I made? Do they actually care about keeping their customers safe, or are they just looking to upsell and dodge accountability? If you're going to pay premium prices, go to a dealership -- at least they stand behind their work and don't play games when it's time to honor a warranty. These guys just try to bury bad reviews and pressure you for positive ones when things are going well. My friend went there and had an oil this morning on May and when they were the his car out, squealed his and then drove his car like a maniac in the driveway when my friend proceeded to stop him, he started to say stuff to him in the car that he was test driving an oil change excuse me, but you have to extremely not your car to be driving like that then come to find out. He takes it home and they didn't even put the oil filter on right the car was leaking oil from the oil filter when he brought it back they said the oil filter you know that when you started the car and you're supposed to look at it make sure it's not leaking before you it back to the customer. I would give 0 if I could. I only started going here because they offer interest free payments up to 6 months, and I have an older Honda. It was needing more work, and they pushed for a fuel cleaning. I said NO. They did it anyways, claimed they didn't (but it was on the invoice) then it "wasn't charged" when it was. I told to the Elk Grove area I usually go to, and the best they could do was replace my cat (that came on before I even left the parking lot of Firestone W Sac) was "no profit cost" of 1k. I received a quote for my repairs. (Extremely pricey). I heard two employees talking about me receiving my quote while the other employee said "you hit the jackpot on that one". A simple oil change and a tire rotation and a basic inspection First visit: waited two hours for them to tell me I have to come back another day because the oil pan is stuck and they need to order a replacement Second visit: I told them I'd wait for the oil change, 2 hours goes by and I check back they said they needed another 4 hours for the oil pan to dry; they comped my Ubers after I was pissed of wasting another 2 hours Third visit: after picking up the car, the dash made a sloshing noise of liquid from left to right without the car even moving and the oil sensor would not clear; yes I tried on YouTube and it would not. So I call and ask what day are they slow on their books for me to come and wait (we are a one car household) Fourth visit: my wife drops the car because they said it's going to take a while They call us pissed and say it's water bottles I assure them it's not They assure me they can't hear anything Fifth visit: oil change light still on and sloshing noise still apparent. Got talked to very rudely by Ricky mansplanning again that it's water bottles and how he didn't see the light and just cleared it. Tells me to go to Subaru then Goes to Subaru; they tell me the issue within the hour and write it down to bring back to Firestone They also let me know Firestone didn't perform the basic inspection and I needed new brakes asap since mine were in the red zone Sixth visit : V HELPED ME THIS TIME. Nice guy , sloshing liquid noise is gone, oil light would not go away even with replacing it, okay we tried. Told me the exhaust slightly lowered but not to worry that doesn't affect the performance. I'm driving the car today and it sounds like a pick up truck about to die on the farm...I drive a 2021 Subaru Even though my services were compted, I will never come back here, V was great, Luke was great, Ricky needs to not work a customer facing job if he's going to have an attitude and talk down to people at 7am when the day just started. Was also told my cabin filter was dirty then told they didn't actually check it, just made an assumption from my "dirty" oil. All in all it was a waste of my time, I got my money back which was the ONLY positive part of the whole experience. He understood the urgency, pulled up my recent tire to order and had me come in to get it fixed; plus recommended to utilize my lifetime tire alignment from them. Stopped in at noon for a new tire, tire rotation, tire alignment, and oil change. They had me out in under a hour and twenty minutes. Recently stopped by this location to get a tire air check. They were quick and friendly. While they were filling my tires they also checked the tread and advised me of one that was still good but would need replacement sooner than the other tires. Horrific experience! I took my vehicle there for a simple coolant repair and in the process the new employee left off my transmission hose which caused significant damages to my vehicle. Firestone said they would take care of everything and I could take my vehicle to a dealer to get it taken care of. I took my car in there for 4 new tires, oil change, new wiper blades and front end alignment. Dropped just short of $1500.00 for everything. I have a tiny Chevy Spark BTW. Not a giant 4X4. Little tires. I made an appointment for 3:00pm on June 19, 2022. When I dropped it off, was told would be ready in 2 1/2 hours. I was called later and told that they would need to keep it overnight. They assured me that it would be ready by 12:00 pm the next day. I did not get my car until after 5:00 pm I drove the car home, which is a mile away. The next afternoon I drove the car. This is the first time driving the car since I brought it home. The AC didn't work. The car has 66,000 miles on it, and has NEVER had any issue. The AC was cold when I took there for service. I called Firestone to inform them of this. My answer was that "they didn't touch" the AC, but would gladly look at it for me. But assured me that it was NOT because of them. I noticed today, while looking under the hood that the fluids were not topped off (part of an oil change). I also noticed that with the new tires, caps were missing on the tire stems. Firestone, you have outdone yourselves. Truely, in every sense of the word. Sub-par service would be the highest rating I could give, since I don't know of anything below Sub-Par. Firestone Inc., I am not looking for a free AC repair on my car. I will be taking it elsewhere to be repaired. The sad thing is I got roped into a lifetime alignment package. This Firestone is located next to Ikea and many eateries, so it was convenient to grab a quick bite during my service hour. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Short 5 minute wait before I spoke with an advisor. Dropped off my keys and the estimated time frame was right on the dot. When my vehicle was completed, I received a call and voicemail letting me know. The entire process was nice and painless. Dropped my vehicle off for a oil change at 10am... they asked if it could be dropped off for the day, I said sure. Came back at 6pm when they close because I haven't heard anything and they said they didn't get to it. At no point was this communicated to me during the day that this was a possibility. Great service. Got my AC unit checked several months ago and it was working well however three weeks ago. Same issue came back. Took it back and they reserviced it at no cost under warranty. Found there was a small leak and was able to resolve the issue. AC is working great now which is needed during this heat wave.
