Gentleman they asked what I was there for said he tried calling to reschedule my appointment but never did and then told me I could leave my car on a Monday and they would look at it Saturday. They do stand by their warranty on all work. Everything explained in detail and they also indicate things that would need repair in near future. No pressure tactics. Just honest recommendations. I can't say enough good things about this location! They have helped me with low tire pressure issues, they assisted me when I needed new tires, they gave me guidance when I wanted snow tires (Blizzaks are amazing by the way). The staff have never talked down to me or been disrespectful. I appreciate them answering my questions! I've been to Firestone's in neighboring communities, but I appreciate the attentive service I receive in Westland. It's easy and quick to make an appointment via a phone call and the store is in a very convenient location. I highly recommend to anyone with car issues. read more

On Tuesday, February 20, while travelling on Wayne Road I became a newly initiated member to the Michigan Pothole Tire Damage Club, and was in need of a new tire. I was happy to see this Firestone Complete Auto Care facility just up the road and decided to stop in. I quickly learned this was a mistake to stop here and should have pushed, pulled or carried my car to nearest Discount Tire instead. Upon entering I was greeted by the most unhappy & stressed out employee I had ever met. In light of all I was dealing with, and the surprising response I received I failed to get her name. I know that customer service can be a challenging job, as I worked retail when I was working my way through college, and decided to giver her the benefit of the doubt. Well, I learned that too was a mistake. While explaining my predicament, she quickly interrupted me and told she couldn't help me and began working on the computer. Oooookay. I then asked if a tech could simply take five minutes and change the tire for me and, once again, was rudely told no. I understand things can get crazy and that there may have been an increase in service needs because of the terrible Michigan roads but there was a better, more customer centric method of conveying this message to me. So, I limped back home on the rim and changed my tire. It was nearing 6pm after I was finished changing the tire and I realized that all of the tire centers would soon be closing for the evening, and I hastily jumped online to book a next day appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment at Discount Tire and had the most pleasant experience from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend Discount Tire but would not & could not recommend this or any other Firestone location. read more

I took my car in to have winter tires removed and regular ones put on. They charged me and did not change the tires. I did not find out until I went to another tire store when my tire light came on. Due to Firestone's negligence my winter tires were worn as I was driving on them during warmer weather. This is fraudulent business practice and should be considered when you take your tire busy yo them. read more

I scheduled an appointment online for a tuning service and when I arrived I was informed that mechanic was currently out that day. I then asked why I had not been informed earlier since this was a scheduled appointment and they had my cellphone number. The associate preceded to lie to me and said he had tried to contact my cell but I did not answer. I knew this to be untrue and promptly went to a different Firestone service center and was given much better honest service. I'm more disgruntled that my time was wasted since like everyone else in America, I work a 9-5, and this appointment was scheduled to accommodate my job. Firestone rocks! I had to get new tires a few years back and this location didn't have the ones I needed for my car, so Bob, the location manager actually went to another store to get the ones I needed. Today, sadly, I needed to get a car repair. My car dealer told me that I needed new tires, so I took my car back to Firestone. They called me a few hours ago to tell me that yes, my tires are wearing a bit unevenly, but they do not need to be replaced: an alignment and tire rotation should fix the problem. This saved me around $400! Firestone also offers free tire balancing and rotation on tire purchases from them and a lifetime alignment...which means that I can get my car re-aligned again at no charge! Holla! read more

I walked in on a Friday evening, and was taken care of straight away. I only came in for an oil change, but the guys I interacted with were really nice and professional. Had a flat tire and decided to take it to the firestone at Wayne and Warren in Westland Michigan. I told them that it was more then likely a nail and asked to get it patched. About a hour after dropping my car off I received a call, they stated that there was a nail in the sidewalk of my tire. They immediately tried to sell me a new tire. I asked if they could fill the tire and show me where the nail was located be I would buy a new tire. Upon returning to the store to pick my car up I asked to see the the location of the nail. They seemed to hesitate and took a long time to show me. Finally after 5 mins they located the nail which WASN'T IN THE SIDEWALL AT ALL it was in the middle of my tread. Also the mechanic Did not mark the location of the nail. All this combine has lead me to the conclusion that they didn't look at my tire and flat out lied to me. I would not recommend this location and if you do take you car here be sure to ask and see any patches and work before it is done. The tried to take advantage of me in this situation and sell me a tire that I did not need. read more

The work was perfect. It was simply one tire change due to a puncture. The first person I saw ignored me completely. First, let me say that this was a prepaid online order with a scheduled appointment so, the second woman, Michelle was nice and took care of things immediately. The mechanics are overbooked but they are skilled. On my way out the first woman charged me an additional $.16. It wasn't about the money it was that I should not have been charged anything additional. I'm pretty sure that it isn't even legal to charge additional when a price has been established and paid. It really burned me up. She then took an additional 5 min just to print up the warranty, which I felt should have already been done. read more

I figured it was about time I wrote a review for this Firestone location. I have been going to these guys for all my car needs for the past 10 years. All the guys there are extremely courteous and take the time to explain and/or show me any issue they feel needs to be addressed. I have gotten to know the guys at the front desk and as soon as either I or my husband walk in the door they have our account pulled up and ready to go and know matter how busy they are, my car is always ready at the time they said it would be. These are people who know how to run a successful business and I recommend highly. read more

I used tirebuyer.com, which was wonderful. Unfortunately we picked the wrong place to take it to. I drove away and the light came on saying there was not enough air in the tires. I had to go back and have them check everything. The man asked me "how much air do you want in them?"... I looked at him and said " you're the professional, how much are they supposed to have in them??" He was clueless. Let's just say I drove away and let my fiancé deal with it. My car was there in this shop for fixing a flat tire. They told me that the tire already got a patch and can`t have one more in 10 inch around area and hence this tire can not get fix. They gave a quotation of new tire for @110$ . We said no and got back the old tire. I have @19000 miles on my car and never had any flat tire before. So that created a big doubt in my mind. After checking the rest of the tires I realized that we got ripped for not just for 1 but for all 4 tires as all 4 tires were looking old,warned out from sides. I took the car to dealership and they told me that the tire has been driven for miles with flat condition . The sides are too weak from inside to repair it and hence can`t fix it. I do not have any proof to prove that Firestone took my good new tires and gave me these ones. So my request to anyone going to this shop( I hope you don`t do that after reading this review but still) then please make sure you take pictures of the DOT number on your tires. The last 4 digits will tell you manufacturing week and year. read more
