I started using this location of belle tire when my son was 8 years old thats 40 years ago, the manager Joe at the time fixed my sons flat tire on his bicycle for no charge, I did not know he walked his bike up there on ford rd. in garden city, I have moved and have used other locations in plymouth but i have returned to this location because Al the sales man has the same attitude and dedication to service that Joe had 40 years ago Its a shame that all Belle tire Stores do not have that dedication to the customers. If it was not for al 4 years ago when I went back to that location for a set of 4 tires and he treated me right, and I just went back today and he did what he said he would do. Let me start by saying I am a 100% disabled army veteran (female) and I have never been discriminated against based on my gender in a mechanic shop. I came in for an ac recharge and an oil change and I said there was a leak. This guy AL says he can't recharge it because it will be a 10 k fine if he charges it with a leak. I said okay so fix the leak. He said you said they have to raise the engine and then I said that's what I was told are there notes in the computer? I asked him if he found the leak. He said we didn't look. It will cost us 173 to look and if it's a leak we can't fix the we have to remove the Freon and still charge you. I said I'm in a mechanic shop you fix leaks here correct? He said I don't like how you are talking to me said here your keys and kicked me out of the store! I took my key and said I want to speak to the manager. He refused to show me the manger so I had to ask another employee for the manager who luckily happened to be the manger. The employee said I was yelling at him and I was upset, but I DID NOT yell. I did however spoke sternly because how are you not going to fix my car based off NO NOTES in the computer and NO DIAGNOSTIC on my car? The manger said I'll take care of you from now on. I said I wanted to put in a complaint against the employee but the manger ignored me. He took my car and went to check the ac. At this point I'm having a full blown panic attack because if I was a MAN and NOT A WOMAN he would not have spoken to me that way. I was willing to spend the "thousands of dollars" (according to the manger), to fix it. Don't mechanic shops want thousand dollar jobs? I had to call my boyfriend at work to come get me. Let me tell you, when my boyfriend came in he simply went up to another guy, white guy, red beard, glasses don't know his name, who was very nice and apologized for my hard time, and asked to simply return the car to me. This guy got up and went back with in minutes my car was given back to me with no charge. If you are a WOMAN beware of speaking to AL at this Belle tire. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different shop. read more

I needed a tire sensor checked and replaced if necessary. After 7 customers were serviced ahead of me, I asked for an update. I was told "We'll get to it shortly ". Eventually, the front desk employee shows me a handheld device that he used to determine that the sensor was bad. Seems like to me that process did not need 2 hours to complete. I have had good experiences with Belle Tire in the past, this was NOT a good experience. I would NOT recommend patronizing this store. read more

Went in first thing in the morning for a low tire was told there's no tire tech to look at it at a tire store??? One man told me to back up to the self serve air and someone would help. I did so and went in to ask for assistance and another man told me that the air was froze even though another person just used it, he would not step out the door to help me. Edit- I'm changing this review from 1 star to 4 based on the fact that the store manager made an honest effort to reach out and listen to me about this experience. He was very kind and sounded sincere. He didn't come off to me as someone just trying to get more business from me. As I said previously, the service overall was fine except for the very last thing that happened. So I'm ok with changing their score based on what I perceive to be good customer service after the sale from their GM. The rest of my review below is what happened that caused me to rate them a 1 star in the first place: Took my car there today for a new set of tires. The overall experience was OK until near the end. I told them that I'd be waiting in the lobby while they did the work, which they apparently forgot. One of them called my cell phone to try to talk me into a front end alignment. When I declined, they just hung up on me then said some things to each other about me. Again, this is while I was literally sitting around the corner in their own lobby. Not sure how the guy didn't put together that he was hearing me out of both ears, but it was an interesting experience for sure. Customer service matters. They've always taken good care on my wife. I went there recently because they head a low tire. They didn't want to look at it because it was 20 minutes until closing time. Drive around to the self service air pump to find that instead of being connected to their main compressor, it was a stand alone tankless compressor. Experience has taught me that little compressors like that after almost useless on my 90psi truck tires. Every time if start it, it would shut off before I could walk around to my low tire. read more

Don't use this local tire shop. I took my Dodge Ram in due to the right rear tire loosing pressure (around 3PSI daily). They replaced the valve stem and said I was good to go. Truck had same problem next day. Took it back in to them. They replaced the valve stem? Truck had same problem next day. Not even two days prior to me taking my car once I get there they take my car in the back and come out and tell me that I need new ball joints and new tire rods. I recently had some problems with one of the new tires that I purchased for my truck, thank God I bought the tire insurance because they had to replace the whole thing and it cost me $50. While they were doing that they found out that my alignment was way off so I had that fixed and the whole bill only came to $243 to do my alignment, replace a tie rod and finish off the work in a professional manner. Went to this location being new to the area as it was the highest rated near me. Never had any issues with any Belle Tire in the past. In addition to trying to charge me 30$ per mount with no disposal instead of 20$ - which it's always been, with disposal - they managed to damage 3 of the 4 brand new wheels. I had stopped into the shop to have my tires checked and filled. I stood there in front of the service person for a period of time while he continued to answer the phone. When he was finished I asked if he would check and fill my tires. He said not outside we will do it inside because he wasn't going to send someone outside I would have to wait. I just needed a check done this before and was always treated with respect. This person only cared about the phone not the person in front of him. I will spread the word about the lousy service I received at your Garden City location. I ended up going to the Canton location which is outside my neighborhood by about five miles. Today (10/25/2021) I had my tire sensor replaced, but before leaving Belle Tire the tire pressure on my dashboard is on I put air on my tires while still at belle tire lot , I complained at the desk and they said they will check the tire pressure. I also noticed a new scratch on my front passenger bumper which is not there before dropping off the car this morning . I will have to pay $100 dollars out of my pocket for this scratches per my insurance . I spoke to the manager about it and he said he will check the camera in 2 to 3 days if the scratches was their fault or not. My mini van needed a battery. they quoted me $149.00 for the battery and installed..ok not bad..so I took my van in..while I had it in I asked them to check my brakes. They told me my brakes are fine but I need a Front Left Lower Control Arm. I asked what is the TOTAL OUT THE DOOR price? The guy said $76.00. I said that's the total?,,, that's the TOTAL out the door price?, the guy said yes. so I said go ahead and fix it. When time came to pay the guy said that's $405.00!!! I said you said the total was $76.00 for Control Arm and $149.00 for the battery, so the total would be $225.00??!..he said no, the $76.00 was just for the part and NOT the labor. I said that's why I asked, What is the TOTAL OUT THE DOOR PRICE FOR EVERYTHING?! Because I didn't have the money to pay for it. I told them to put back on the old Control Arm. what a reap off company. i took my minivan for antifreeze leak after the techician look at the car told me that the water pump is leaking, and they give a repair cost of 579.00 .even i thought that was way too hight i agreed to go with the repair . what a suprise the tech was working on the car broke 2 of the screws, and have to take half of the car apart to fixed. and end up to charge me for extra parts and labor the total of 1103.00 for a water pump job . never again take my cars there. people be aware with this company they double charge on the parts and also on the labor. 7 hours labor for water pump read more

I bought a full set of BF Goodrich tires less than a year ago and declined purchasing the Belle tire protection plan due to the tire package I purchased had a six year warranty on it. They did not honor the warranty claiming that because they couldn't repair it, it had to be road hazard that flattened the tire. I explained that that was a ridiculous statement because I was driving on a clear rural road with no obstruction or traffic, and did not have a representative of the company waiting on the side of the road to claim defect. I was defenseless. The tire was a rear passenger tire and, the other tires were fine. If I had run over something, my front tires would be the first to go. They told me the only manufacturer that honors their warranty was Michelin. I made a point of announcing that to the other customers who were in the room waiting. On top of not honoring the warranty, the replacement was about 60$ more!! I was stuck and told them I would never, never be back. I hope this review goes viral! Buyers beware! Im not usually the one to leave a bad review, just can't stand getting lied to especially when you're a paying customer. August of 2021 I choose to go to the Belle Tire on Ford rd and Schuman ave (closest to my house) to get a new set of tires and an alignment. Comes with life time rotation on tires and I got the 1 year alignment package. I try to get the rotation done every 3 months so that the tires wear evenly. I specifically ask to get rear tires moved forward and front tires crossed to the rear (clearly saw the sales representative write it on the work order) I usually sit there and wait for it to get done. Today I didn't have the time to sit around so I dropped car off, but I thought to myself to mark the tires to see if they actually rotate them. Well I have to say they did rotate the tires but instead of the way I asked for it to be done the same it has been done every other time so that the tires can actually wear evenly they just moved the tires over in clockwise rotation. Might not seem like much to some but if they can't do something as easy as a rotation the way the customer asks for it I can only imagine what else goes on. The whole point of rotation of tires is so that they wear evenly. If you rotate them In a different way every time they won't wear evenly. front tires(steering tires) should always go the the rear and rear tires to the front and if you want you can cross them while you're at it you can but they should always be rotated the same way every time if you actually want your tires to wear evenly. They called me when the car was ready I went over and checked the car before walking inside and noticed what had been done let the sales representative know what had been done and just got a shoulder shrub as a response. Not very professional. Just wanted to share my experience hoping it benefits a potential future customer to weigh there option and choose a different shop. read more

Been coming here for years. I have never had a problem with their customer service or management. If I ever had a issue they would fix it right away, and typically give me a discount. It's clean and they have a nice waiting area with a big tv. Always coffee and vending machine if you get a little hungry and need a snack. They do good work on cars not just tires. Really wish I had checked reviews first. Had normally came here for alignments and small repairs until about a year ago. Last 2 times I've visited I have been given the wrong part to be replaced and the upcharge it's absurd. Rockauto equivalent part was THREE TIMES the price. There was also 3 seperate $70 charges on simply removing sway bar links, AFTER being told the wrong part was needed. On the coldest day of the year we found we needed a battery. We took the car to Belle Tire for convenience, not price. Chad, the manager was great before and after the replacement. When we got home we noticed the hood was not shut. So we opened it and the coolant cap was off and lodged in the side and the windshield wiper plastic top was off and lodged in the side. That is why the hood could not shut properly. We corrected the misplaced caps and shut the hood. We are single woman looking for a reputable place to fix our cars. We should not have to check the work after it is done. We paid top dollar for a battery replacement. I realize the techs are extremely busy. I will never come back here again. I've always used Belle tire in the past. The assistant manager Ali was a real dick. I went up there 3 times to get my tires looked at. He lied right straight to my face and said they checked them and they never did. It is very cold out and I have to air up my tires every week. He said it's illegal to fix them because they are bald. BS. They are not bald. I got charged $800 for calipers. Honestly I don't know if I really needed them or not. I think because I am a woman and older that they took advantage of me.
