my entire experience with Firestone featured some complicated repairs due to me as the vehicle owner, a third-party that would either approve or deny the work to be paid for through warranty, and Firestone as the middleman. I didn't think I was going to get any of what I asked for through my warranty. My Firestone contact was Shawnell. she was very responsive to my questions and concerns. She had an innate ability to sense my frustration with the process, but stayed calm and reassuring for me. In the end, I got some of what I was asking for, and it was all due extra effort that Shawnell put in. I am very appreciative of her and the Firestone team. read more

Ron took care of annual inspection and some major repairs for my daughter in January when the weather was brutal and when she was sick but still wanted to accomplish her inspection while she was home for the holiday. Ron was kind, thorough, careful, and totally transparent about the issues he found that needed to be addressed in her automobile. After her payment was made at the end of the day, he called when he found that she had left her purse behind and kept the shop open until she returned for it. I was impressed by everything that he did to take care of her. So, today, Sunday, I returned to him for a diagnostic on my car for a fluid leak that I discovered Friday at the rear of my driveshaft and that I thought was oil. The earliest my regular dealership service department could schedule me would be a 2-week wait; my worry was the I could burn up my engine during that period of time. Ron scheduled me for a visit sooner than 48 hours from my call. Ron greeted me the moment I walked into the front office, and my car was brought into the bay promptly. Based upon the sample of the fluid I had collected from the floor of my garage, Ron thought my car likely had a rear differential leak. An inspection of the underside of the car when it was on the lift confirmed the diagnosis. Ron checked how much fluid had been lost so that I could determine if I needed to add fluid while I wait for the needed part to be ordered. Ron did not charge for the diagnosis, since he could not do the repair today! Ron is going to check tomorrow on the availability of a new gasket that is needed to repair the leak. I am astounded by the availability of auto diagnostics and repair on a Sunday, the speed of the appointment and accuracy of the diagnostics, and the kindness and honesty and generosity of Ron Lombardi, who manages the Wexford, PA Firestone Tires & Auto Repair Services -- and seems always to be there! read more

I called around many different locations for specific Bridgestone tires that I've been getting on my 4Runner since day 1. We've had the 4Runner for nearly 6 years. This is the third set of tires and will not go back on a different pair. I ordered last week and Wexford is an hour drive but the only location that had what I wanted. We stopped and the guy said 90 minutes tops. We arrived at 10:15 and we were out the door at 11:45 right on 90 minutes. Nate was professional, provided what they said they would. Got some money off the tires. Paid roughly $250 per tire which is good because these should last me for two years. Great place, they don't bullshit you and get you in and out. read more

I brought my car in because it was misfiring and they said with spark plugs and coils and labor it would be $1300. I had to call them 30 minutes before they closed to see what was going on and they said they replaced the parts and now it's worse than before and won't shift out of 1st gear and to take it to a dealer. Charged me the full $1300, made my car worse, and told me "I don't know what to tell you". Be careful if you're a woman and you go here. I definitely won't be back. Poor customer service. Made appointment days in advance for a state inspection. Told would be done in about an hour. Five hours later, they havent even started on it, dont know when they will start, and can't tell me when it will be done. Sounds like they'll have to keep overnight now. I always have mixed opinions of Firestone. I've bought all my tires from them so I keep coming back for service but today was over the top. 3 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. And there was only one other car they were working on as far as I can tell. And they really do not want to take "no" as an answer when they try to push extra services. I understand my bill was only $30 today but why make it so I never want to come back? read more

I picked Firestone for my set of four tires because of the sale I saw online for $43 per tire They also had buy three tires get one free. The actual cost per tire was over $100 each, with all the other fees included. That's over double the cost per tire. They also refused my coupon for a buy three get one free. I even mentioned the coupon to them repeatedly before and after service. read more

I've had good experiences at this location & plan to continue using them. It began at the Rt8 location when I needed new tires. I could have maybe saved a few $$ at a warehouse club, but I wanted a seller that had many locations available in case I needed a flat repair. My car has no spare tire whatsoever due to it being a hybrid & the battery pack is housed where a spare tire would normally be. I bought a set of tires & the price was in-line pretty much with other estimates for a comparable set. The add-ons are typical as I don't expect to pay only $500 for a set of 4 tires @ $125 each. And I jack-up the price myself by adding lifetime balance, alignment & tire wear warranty. It's no different here than any other tire seller. A good set of tires isn't inexpensive. After about 15K miles, I took my car in for a PA inspection as this location is such that I'm around it more than where I bought the tires. The inspector noticed that my front tires were wearing un-evenly. So they offered to check the alignment & I had the time then, so they did. The bottom line was that the ones on front were wearing fast & they recommended replacement. Good thing I had purchased the warranty protection when I bought them. I got the new tires at 20% of the full retail price. Naturally I had to re-purchase (or chose to) the lifetime balance & warranty protection on these two new ones, but now as winter approaches, I feel more comfortable having four good tires on my rig. And the PA inspection was also a good experience. This was my third one since moving here from VA two years ago. I paid the least for it of the three times. I had called in advance about the price & was satisfied with what I was told. And once there, the final bill did not tack-on extra fees for the actual window stickers themselves or "shop fees" as I experienced a year ago elsewhere. And the times I've been here, I've never felt the wait time to be excessive for the level of work that was being done. read more

Stay far away from this place. Girlfriend purchased tires from here and has had to make four follow up trips due to one particular tire not holding air. Associate became condescending and treated her like she was stupid. As he tried to wrap up the discussion, I questioned what they were going to do when the tire went down on the highway, he stood silent for awhile and then said they would reseal the tire. Why wouldn't you do so in the first place. After the 4th trip they promised to refund $100 Do your research before you select where you get tires/service but stay far way from here. read more

I have used the Firestone garage (WEXFORD, PA 15090) several times and use to recommend it to my friends. It was fine, service quality was on and off, but cost was always competitive, ideal location, and overall most technician and personnel were and are nice. I needed oil change and inspection. I applied for Firestone credit card which gave me free oil and discount for inspection. When I arrived on Monday at 745amas scheduled, I faced a grumpy service advisor. After almost 2 or 3 hours of waiting, I was told that in order to pass the inspection would cost me $5500. For a moment I felt like I had no choice but to agree and pay $5500. After few deep breaths, I asked to explain the price, specifically cost of tires. John said I need to replace all 4 tires and the charge is $800. When I asked why the price is so high, I heard the magic "excuse" I hear more and more now days. I was told that all prices are up, starting from oil to tires. It is what it is. Take it or leave it. I know tire prices were on the high end for type and quality. I asked to put my car back together. Same day I went to a different store within 5 miles where I got all 4 goodyear tires for $490...better quality tires for twice less, for twice less waiting time. I dont know if it was just a bad day at the store, or it is a new "take it or leave it" attitude, but I will not go there anymore until this attitude is there. I recently, in May 2021 fixed my AC with firestone. I have checked 3-4 different garages and the Firestone (wexford pa) store was the best, not just for the price, but also the approach, solution, and service. This is all gone now it seems, and I am afraid the change is permanent in store now. Not sure how this helps business, but they sure lost mine. read more

I have just returned from the Firestone store on Perry Highway (Route 19) in Wexford. I took my Tesla there for inspection a month or so ago because I read in the Pittsburgh Tesla Group on FaceBook that cars from the Tesla Service Center in Wexford are being taken to that Firestone store for inspection. Unfortunately, I didn't have my registration with me when my car was inspected, so the technicians were unable to put a new sticker on my windshield. This afternoon I returned with the registration. The guy behind the desk told me that they have no record of my car being inspected and that I will need to pay for another inspection. Bah! HumBug! I will never return to that store. I wonder why Tesla takes their cars there. read more

I made an appointment 24hrs in advance with 2 vehicles back to back for a tire repair and the other to take a look at my tire balance and see if they could find the reason why my car is wobbling slightly. I explained on the phone to the guy that made my appointment what I want looked at on my one car and he said no problem I understand your situation and we will look at it and call you and tell you what we found. I said ok and made the appointment for my two cars. I dropped one car off for a 1pm appointment and left my keys in and envelope and put it in the dropbox. I couldn't write any information on the paper because their pen exploded so I wrote Toyota on it as best as I could. Note during the appointment scheduling the guy on the phone asked forbmy full info of the style car and my name and number. The next day I didn't hear anything from them so I decide to call them at 4 PM. The manager told me that since my license plate number was not on the envelope so he said he put my keys in a safe and said he just waits for the customer to call so I know what kind of car it is and then I'll pull it in to get worked on... So the manager couldn't take the keys out of the envelope and just hit the alarm button to seeing what car is in his parking lot? I guess not. Or see on the schedule that he had a 1 PM appointment and if you didn't know what car It was to look in the info to just call me? The managers excuse was very poor and they looked at my car and 15 minutes later gave me some stupid excuse on what they found that was wrong with my car and I looked into it afterwards and they were 100% wrong. I was lucky enough to get my other vehicles tire repaired just in time before they closed. but having to deal with that hassle for a tire patch and my tire balance looked at is unnecessary. Get new pens in your drop box and look at the schedule info for appointments you have Firestone. read more
