Got a hole in my tire in the target parking lot across the street. Live 30 min from here and needed a quick plug because my plug kit is at home. Walked in at 6:20pm asking for a tire plug and guy said they couldn't do it tonight.... They close at 7.... I told him I have my wife and kids in the car and have a 30 minute drive home and can hear the air coming out. He still said he wouldn't help or lend me tools so I could fix it in the parking lot. I had an appointment for tire rotations at 11:00 this morning. When I arrived they said it world take an hour and a half for them to get to it. The customer service at the North Maize road location is horrible. Read the reviews online and go somewhere else. Part of their sales pitch is the free rotations. I'd rather pay less for my tires somewhere else and pay someone to rotate them at the time of my appointment. Wake up Firestone you need new management at this location. read more

Incredibly rude! Came in at 6:20pm on a Friday night with a tire rapidly leaking air - they refused to help me patch it even though I told them I had a 25 minute drive home. They did not close until 7:00pm. Went over to jiffy lube right next door and they immediately agreed to help. Very sad that someone would jeopardize my safety this way. Honestly just hurtful as well. I came into Wichita late at night with an emergency - I couldn't fill my tank and I was 1/4 from empty. I'd called Firestone about an hour before they closed, when I first noticed the issue. I explained what was happening and that I wouldn't be to Wichita before they closed, but was hoping they had some availability in the early AM the next day as I was in the middle of a move. The gentleman I talked to understood and said to bring in the car ASAP the next morning and they'd get me in immediately and fix the issue. Amazing! The next morning I show up at 6:30 AM, walk in at 6:55 when they turn the OPEN light on. The person in the front was not the same person I'd spoken to the day prior. They were rude and not empathetic to my situation, telling me that if I wanted them to fix it that someone should come get me because he wasn't sure until they'd get me even in today. He was rude through his condescending tone and blank stare. I get that my case is emergency and very short notice, but this treatment shows you can't rely on Firestone when you need them most. I ended up going to MIDAS - I highly recommend!! They were empathetic and kind, and got me in within 5 minutes. read more

I took my Yukon Denali in to get my brakes checked. I spoke with Nick the service advisor. He said my rear pads needed to be replaced after inspection. They got me in and took care of the problem right away. They kept me informed during the whole process. I will be going back for any repairs needed in the future. read more

Went in to have a maintenance check before I went for a long drive out of town. Had been experiencing some high temperature readings and expressed concern to the mechanic when I took it in for the maintenance check, also expressed I wanted to get an oil change as well. Left it overnight to be looked at in the morning and the next day they call me and say there are no problems and that I shouldn't be worried about the temperature since it could be due to the summer heat. When I picked up my car they hadn't even performed the oil change. As I left for my long drive I again noticed the high temperature reading (about 3/4 of the way up) and about an hour into the drive it began to continually get higher until the engine eventually overheated. Had to get my car towed 30 minutes away to emporia and stay at a motel until the morning when a real auto shop could look at my car. They said the real problem was my thermostat had created a pressure buildup in my radiator and was causing a coolant overflow. Had to get about $400 worth of work plus motel charges and wasted about a full days worth of time. Don't go to Firestone ever again. I sure won't. They are too busy to look closely at your vehicle and are not likely to see any real big problems since they have so many customers they are trying to "serve". read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Only reason I gave even one star was because I couldn't post this without it! These jokers told my husband that his Lincoln needed new tires because one tire only had 1/32 of tread left and the other 3 had 2/32. He was then quoted a price of $1300 for new tires (supposedly the only tires that would work for his car). We shopped around and went to Sams Club, they quoted us $600 for tires and balance and rotate. We took our car to Sams Club today to do the tires and while shopping the tire guy called us and said that the tires still had over half of their lifetime tread left. So disappointing that Firestone was going to ream us for $1300 when the car didn't even need tires!!!! Never again and we will spread the word about these Firestone crooks and about how stand up Sams Club was. read more

Fair, friendly and competent. I've been going here for all my cars for over 20 years. I started here because they fixed a problem created by another auto repair shop. When my kids were in college they made sure they were taken care of at other Firestone stores across the US. I know they will take good care of my cars, if there is any issue, I know they will make it right. read more

Came in with a tire rapidly losing air. I needed to get home for my daughter getting off the bus in an hour and a half. I was informed that there would be no possible way for them to help me due to scheduling. My tire was literally going flat in their parking lot as I spoke to the (not so) kind gentleman. I politely asked if I could at the very least pay them to put on the spare so I could get home. To which I was informed that that would also not be possible with their busy schedule. This would take them 5 minutes with their skills and tools. I understand needing to keep a schedule, but there is also such a thing as humanity and empathy. I was able to get my car across to jiffy lube before my tire was totally deflated and they fixed it right away. In general, I have no expectation that anyone should make adjustments for me, but sometimes, putting a human being before your almighty bottom line is more important. I'll never give this company my business. read more

tried to schedule an appointment to get my 2 rear tires done , the guy was very rude and gave me the wrong time . showed up at the time i was given and was informed it was wrong . had to wait 5 hours for them to call to tell me they don't have the size of tires that go on my car . after i came back and told them i was just gonna go somewhere else the guy got very rude and wouldn't help us . horrible customer service . read more

I have used this store for many years, and they have always been great! They have always done good work me, and they have always been honest. They always give you the best deal possible, and they look out for their customers. These people have integrity. Lee is the new store manager. I was impressed with how she handled customers and her mechanic. The mechanic had a little difficulty bleeding my break lines. So the job took a little longer than expected. But the good news is they took the time to get it right. read more

Took a tire in to be repaired. I was told that the repair would take "about two hours". Four hours later I have to call and check on the repair and they have not started on it yet. You shouldn't be stating a timeline if you cant stick to it! This is bad business. I would not recommend this facility for any service. read more
