When my car broke down and I was stuck on the side of the road, he still went beyond his mechanic duties to check on me and offered me a ride home free of charge with the help of his colleague Mr Dustin. Mr Derek does not upsell and does not give BS; he is transparent and candid about the diagnosis process, the repairs, and the quotes. He offered to run simple tests on batteries and inspections of the car for me for free. He also responds quickly to requests, questions via Yelp and phone. My alternator of the car was bad and Mr Derek gave me two options: remanufactured and OEM. He clearly explained what the pros and cons of each one and respected my decision. My husband told me to call Tracy's and I decided to try them out. They were very honest with me and kept me updated on the progress being made on my car. They were the ones who found the bent rim and said they didn't feel comfortable with putting me back on the road with a tire that didn't have a good seal. The loud noise ended up being a broken strut which was fixed and rides like new again. How that could have been missed by the other company is beyond me. They took good care of me, found the needed parts as quickly as possible, and their prices are fair. The fact that I was not taken advantage of as a female means a lot to me. I will definitely be making them my go to automotive shop.

I've had issues in the past with their service when they installed a radius arm bushing in backwards on my bronco. but this time I had a coolant leak. they told me it was a plug on a cylinder head and the parts alone would be over 4500.00 but they didn't have the tools needed to repair a cylinder head. I took it to Meyers. the problem had nothing to do with the cylinder head and total cost for parts and repair was 1700.00 Tracy's charged me a diagnostic fee for the wrong diagnosis.
