To all health care providers who wants a quick and yet hands on cpr certificate, this is the place to be.ms,magdalena is an extraordinary instructor all of the knowledge that you obtained on the said class were all up to date per american red cross,meaning after the class you will have that confidence in real life emergency situation. the 75 dollars is a steal compare to other cpr providers.the place itself is quiet and clean too ( perfect for a learning environment). I went to First Aid CPR Trainer. Overall, I'd say it was excellent. My trainer was Magdalena, and she was very professional and courteous. I needed to get my CPR training last minute, and she was able to schedule a meeting for me, which I really appreciated. I took the entire course (Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED), and her mannequins were excellent. There were lights on the side of the mannequins, so whenever you pressed down hard enough with the correct frequency, it would light up green (red/orange if you were off). I found that feature very helpful, as I now understand exactly how hard I need to press, and how often. As for information, she was very thorough, and made sure she covered all the basics. I was there for approximately 6.5 hours, and she made it her priority that I knew *everything* I needed to know before I left. There were also light refreshments, in the form of mini-water bottles, fruits, and small bags of Cheetos. read more

absolutely worth the 5 stars on Yelp. If there are 10 stars I would be giving her the whole 10! The trainer, Maggie, is not one of those trainers who "oops, not enough students, not worth my time, let's reschedule". She kept my session even though I was the only student in the class that day. she's also very professional and very patience. I needed my last minute CPR/AED cert and she took her time to call Red Cross so they can have my cert ready by the end of the class ! Not to mention that her fee is unbeatable. First Aid CPR Trainer's office is very conveniently located. I first read the yelp reviews then when I went to the website. I really liked the fact that the instructor Magdalena has worked as a nurse for a number of years and not just a "fly by night" instructor. I needed to get certified ASAP and the instructor, Maggie, delivered. After calling a few other places and using Thumbtack, Maggie returned my call quickly and was extremely helpful. She even rearranged a later time to best fit our schedules. I was the only one in the class and everything felt normal. Maggie is very nice, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. She obviously has a passion for sharing what she knows and does a fine job at it. The class is structured as both a lecture and hands on experience. Great place for learning.
