His passion for teaching is obvious in every lecture, and he genuinely wants every student to succeed. More than just a great professor, Dr. Candelario is an inspiring role model for anyone pursuing nursing. He constantly reminds his students why they chose this path and makes you feel like anything is possible if you are willing to work for it. He creates an environment where you feel supported, motivated, and confident in your ability to grow. If you ever need extra help, he never hesitates to take the time to guide you and make sure you truly understand the material. The school itself is also very invested in student success. As long as you are willing to put in the work, the program truly sets you up to succeed. I feel incredibly grateful to be learning in a program with professors like Dr. Candelario who care not only about your grades, but about the kind of nurse and person you will become.

I was a part of Cohort 2, so one of the very first cohorts here at this location. The road was definitely very bumpy but I would say my experience was good. The professors at this school are very knowledgable and I would like to specifically talk about one in particular, Dr. Candelario. He really made my experience amazing because he truly cares for his students. He motivated not only me but my entire cohort when we were all going through rough patches together. Not only did his motivation push me to my personal finish line but also the time he gives to all of his students. I really appreciate having him as a professor. Other great professors that I would like to include as well are Dr. Leon- the OB professor- she is amazing as well. Her knowlegde, experience, and passion for nursing is inspiring. Overall, I wish i could include all of my professors in this review because they were all great but when joining a nursing program just know, wherever you choose to go, it is not going to be an easy journey. If it was, everyone would be a nurse! Good luck to those who are in a pursuit of this amazing and rewarding career!
